| The Sony Dub for Rurouni Kenshin is particularly bad (Misao sounds like Rosie O'Donnell, everything is mispronounced) |
The one piece dub is decent, nothing amazing but certainly just as convincing as the Japanese one. Franky's and Brook's VA's are hilarious in both languages. Naruto was a good dub until half way-ish through shippuden, you can kind of hear the VAs losing interest in their roles IMO. Some of the English voice acting in the War arc is pretty unmotivated. Pretty good English dub up until the pain arc or so though. |
| Lolicons are scum. BABYMETAL is more metal than Metallica. Naruto is objectively the best anime ever. HxH 99' is decent. HxH 11' is bad. |

| The Garzey's Wing dub is so bad it ends up being great, so I don't think it actually counts. The Law of Ueki dub, on the other hand, is more so bad it's terrible. |

| I'll say Girls Und Panzer. They had very unfitting voices. Also Kengan Ashuras dub. The voices were shit and sounded all wrong. And of course Bryce and his generic voice ruined of of my fave characters. |

| I'm legitimately surprised that no one's mentioned Sailor Moon's first English dub made by DiC and later Cloverway. I tried to revisit it once, but the 90s dub felt either soulless or pretty cringy in comparison to the original... sure there were exceptions, but goodness... there's just so many goddamn changes and the frickin voice performances, holy shit.  There's a whole site dedicated to the changes that DiC and Cloverway made... This is definitely the right answer. Those appalling caricatures of British accents made me cringe. They were Dick van Dyke levels of awful. Another one that stood out to me as bad was K-on! Yui sounds ten times more annoying in the English dub. |

| OG Bubblegum Crisis had some AWFULLLL villain dubs to the point where I was laughing out loud. I guess that comes with the territory for some of the older anime though. |

| I would say it's a toss up between Rave Masters and the Burn Up movie. those are the two that jump to mind at any rate. Being a 90s kid, I've seen my fair share of horrible dubs since- as we all know- terrible dubs were the norm back then. There were exceptions though. Akria had a solid dub and Pokemon was tolerable. And Disney did a good job with the Ghibli dubs. I count us blessed that the Ghibli films got the Disney treatment. I don't think my heart would've been able to handle terrible dubs of them. |
