| I believe a lot of people don't like it because the first 30/40 episodes were pretty bad, especially the start. I think it's a good series now, but I didn't like it at the start. |

| Read the negative reviews and you'll find out I guess? The story is alright, but I don't really like any of the characters and the animation is overall pretty underwhelming for an action anime. To be fair, I'm not into standard battle shounens in the first place, but I'd still place Black Clover below all other popular ones I've seen (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, FT, BnAH). Maybe it's gotten better now like other comments suggest, but the first 50 episodes I've seen were just... okayish. |

| The series has a very slow start and the beginning is as generic as you can get.It takes a while to get going.The first few episodes have bad pacing, animation and fights.I was scarred by Mars vs Asta.It was awful to watch.It take 50 episodes to get going.And people hate Asta's screaming for some reason but I was never bothered by it. |
| I never watched black clover, so i can't give you my own opinion. Other people said that's generic, stereotyped and too much "inspired" in naruto and the other big shonens though. Some friends liked it btw. The other problem is Asta and his annoying autistic screams, reason why i never watched black clover. Just opinions, everything is subjetive. |

| I still don't know what they were thinking casting a kid with basically no experience as a battle Shonen mc. He was fine as Shinra when I watched Fire Force but his early Asta screams were the worst. |

| You're certainly generalizing, as I know quite a few people who enjoy it. If you are asking why individuals dislike it, however? I am not a fan of the lack of tension or stakes, and the pacing was extremely fast (which is something that'll get me to drop a show SO quickly. Hate it.). I saw maybe 19 or so episodes before just giving up, as I was frequently told the show got better around episode 14-15. For me, that's around when I started liking it less. Just isn't my thing. But if people like it, why would I shit on them for that? No reason to. |

| Yeah I also think Asta's voice is the MAIN reason for haters... I really like this anime and I like every single minute of it. Well, fillers excluded. I think it's like Jojo. The first 10-20 episodes are not the best, but you shouldn't skip if you want to understand the whole story. |

| Apart from Asta's screaming, I genuinely like Black Clover. I enjoy the fantasy world, the magic system, large scale fights and the guild based nature of the show (similar to Fairy Tail, which is probably a large part of the reason I like it so much). |

| I watched that anime when it started airing, stopped after like 10-12 eps. I personally don't hate it, but I don't like it either, the first problem that the vast majority have witnessed is Asta's voice, screaming all the time is just .. painful to hear, Idk if it's likable by the teens-audience, but to me, it's one of the most annoying things ever. Another problem I've noticed as well, is the cast itself, and not everyone but some ppl like Asta and noelle, basically the typical shounen MC and the typical Tsundere/himedere personality. It's fine tho for those who're new to anime or love these traits. But I'm really tired for watching the same copy-paste personality again and again, not to mention, the plot itself as well, majority of shounen animes unfortunately tend to have the same formula of : " I want to be Hokage, I want to be the Pirates King, I want to protect my friends, I want to be the wizard king, I want to be the top hero etc ..". a.k.a "Aiming to be the best, by never giving up, from 0 to hero". Which is again, totally fine, but watching the same thing over years since my childhood, became kinda boring. The power - which is magic - isn't new in shounen as well, it was brought in Fairy Tail, and this is a thing that BC fails in compared to the other animes in being a unique one, BnHA has quirks, HxH has nen, Naruto has Chakra, Bleach has Reitsu etc .. (Again, this isn't a bad thing nor considered as criticizing even, but I just would like to see something totally original to at least impress me) It may get better afterwards indeed but I don't consider this as a great thing, an anime with +100 eps that offer like, few good eps only, isn't a good anime at all. Black clover overall doesn't add anything new to the shounen genre tbh, but does mean that it's bad? Nope. It's an OK anime and it'd be more appealing to those who are still teens, shounen's hardcore fans or maybe those who're still new to anime who won't bother watching +300 eps from Bleach, Naruto, One Piece etc .. |

| I'll give you one hint. Asta's voice sounds like F1 race care on crack, lmao. If i am suppose to watch it, I'll give an average. 5/10. just because i can't understand why and what makes it special. | 1- protagonist is a blond annoying kid that everyone underestimates, plus he dosent have parents. 2-black haired emo rival thats better than him in everything.....hmnnn 3- deaming of becoming magic king or warever....very similar to a hokage, okay... 4-having the power of a demon inside of him.....this is looking very familiar, now.... 5-One of the major enemies is a rival kid from a diferent country that has the same power as his country's name, plus he is almost as edgy as the protagonist rival.....ah its naruto. I mean, if i want to watch naruto, i will go watch naruto withoud the european skin, deadly sins is bad, but at least the author put effort into creating something original with it, and not just copied someone's homework and made it shitty...at least naruto has a better voice actor for the protagonist and better suporting characters...Oh yeah, this too... 6-bonus negative points for Asta having a realy annoying voice actor, like realy annoying. |

| The show was average at the beginning but now it is much better and new antagonists (the spade kingdom) are cool. I started reading the manga after the last episode because I not patient enough to wait after training arc finish Asta was annoying at 1st but now he is likable character and he is my favorite character. |

| I'm cringing and biting my nails every time Asta starts a screaming like he's trying to set a Guinness record. Aside from that the anime is not bad, it's middle of the road quality. The only reason I'm watching it is because I've heard Asta chills a bit out after episode 15-20. I also read that it becomes better as it progresses. Episode 1 was a 4/10 from me. Now I'm at 5/10(EP10). .. and if the things I've been told are true I'll end the series on 7/10, possibly 8/10. |
