| Okay this was a mess. It just sort of ended. They stopped the gate. Demons actually are bad. Everything is good now and went back to how it was. The scenes with the brothers visiting their birthplace and mother's home felt really extraneous when it should have felt meaningful. This was a bad ending. Satan reminded me of Symphony of the Night-era Dracula. And I actually was looking into that right before I started this, as I was wondering what the deal was with Yuri and Satan and the reality of the demons being good or evil. I didn't realize the last nine episodes were filler. That explains quite a bit. I think they only got really and in the last few, so it wasn't all a bust. But, man, yeah, that ending... |
