They always go the mile for making authentic trailers for the franchises they feature and it's great seeing a Persona one. Though all I was thinking when Arsene spoke was "I am thou. Thou art I. Free thy chains, attain thy freedom and-OOOOOH, is that a Smash Ball!?" I wonder if this means that a Switch version is on the horizon. Persona 5's characters, being the Phantom Thieves, were always featured doing all kinds of moves that would fit right in Smash. There will be a lot of jumping while using the gun and sword combo while cool looking red, blue and black effects fly everywhere. And for the final move, Joker will have the strongest attack available to the Persona protagonist. All will fall, no exceptions. Seriously though, I'm really looking forward to his moves and animations. Persona 5's style in Smash is sure to be a sight to behold. |

SMT and Etrian Odyssey are both on Nintendo consoles, but Persona, as you say, never was aside from the may-as-well-not-be-canon Persona Q spin-offs. Persona 1,2IS, 2EP, 3, 3FES, 4 and 5 are all Playstation exclusives. Even the enhanced versions of 1, 2IS, 2EP, P3P, and P4G still all released on Playstation handhelds. | Not too big fan of the opening theme. It doesn't have that "Kingdom Hearts" feel to it that Simple and Clean and Sanctuary had or even Don't Think Twice has. And the actual visuals are kind of a rehash of DDD's opening. Idk maybe I'll come around to it later Unrelated, but I was watching the Persona 5 bad endings on youtube cause I never got them and HOLY FUCK is the Makoto bad end dark as fuck. Persona 5 seriously did not pull ANY punches. |

| Today has been a good day. I got myself a new Samsung Galaxy S9 after changing my cell phone carrier. Haven't finished setting it up yet but I can't wait to see how FGO performs. Also got myself a new HP Omen 15 laptop. i7 8750h, GTX 1060 6gb, 16 gb ram, 1tb HD, 256gb SSD. All for $999. It's a beast compared to my shit potato laptop from 2010 that doesn't have a dedicated graphics card. Can't wait to bust it open tomorrow and try out Nier Automata without having to rely on Geforce Now. |
| Wow, jumping forward 5 generations makes such a big difference. Everything is so much more responsive and smooth, I can actually see the damage my NP makes without it slowing down to a few frames per second. Most of all the load times are incredible. It's... it's beautiful. |

Funny thing, I have gotten more 5* in 1 month in Epic7 than FGO in 1 year. You can get lots of gems by doing the story quests, events and achievements. They give free daily summon and I have gotten two 5* from it. The 4* in this game are pretty great too, some are better than 5*. I am sitting here with eight 5* right now. The rate isn't as bad as it look. |

| So yeah finished Persona 3 last night, can't say I loved it as much as Persona 5 story or character wise(gameplay and other mechanics isn't going to be a fair comparison), but still really enjoyed my time with it. Also still lost in a debate between myself on whos best girl between Mitsuru or Aigis. |
