The title doesn't say anything about an international poll so yeah...that also doesn't help.

He starts off by talking about shit nobody cares (trips, conventions, etc). Then 4 minutes talking about the actual poll. Then more shit nobody cares about (Twitch streams and other videos he's planning to make).

Regarding the actual poll, I imagine it will be something along MAL's top. Obviously there will be a lot of mainstream stuff but that should be expected.

This is just my opinion but I don't really see the point (besides him gaining more popularity) in doing this. MAL's and Anime Planet's tops are pretty much what the international comunity thinks.

If you wanted people to actually care about the poll and TheAnimeMans idea, you should have at least made yourself a part of the community. When someone clicks on this only to see a guy who has 1-15 post since 2014, it makes the whole thing a joke. Maybe if you were more invested in MAL and knew how this community thinks, you would have thought twice about posting.
