| Sasha-centered episode, didn't expect that. Was a bit slow in the beginning, but nice to see some background for her. That small titan looks like he tried to transform and didn't go all the way like Eren did in season 1, but how could that be? :o |

| So what are other anime watchers theories about this mess. My new crazy theory. One thing we can assume is that Titans where made by a human. Maybe that human is the giant Titan and he created the walls so humans can live inside so he can control them there. Those wall church guys are his accomplishes on keeping an eye on humans in a way and they view that guy like a God and maybe he promised them to make them Titans too? The human transforming titans are like his followers that he gave the thing that can make them like that Except Eren that maybe his father was a follower to become a Titan and gave to Eren that thing before betraying the giant Titan and his church. Just my theories i have no idea of the manga or the story forward so don't worry this is no spoiler or anything like that. I may be completely off Right now and manga readers will be reading this and laughing but i wanted to throw at least one theory out there. | This episode focused a lot on Sasha, which is not a bad thing, because Sasha is one of my faves in this series <3 Good to learn her past, her dad seems like a great, responsible dad. Glad they reunited in the end, I'm just afraid that her dad get eaten or something lol Damn, Sasha's so badass in this episode, going one on one against a Titan, while rescuing a girl and a few arrows as her weapons, props to Sasha for making it out alive xD Next episode we might focus on Connie and his family, and that weird looking Titan laying down on his house. Looking forward to it! And, the ED creeps me out every time. xDD |

| After the absolute snoreshitfest that was episode 1 I was very pleased to see that this episode didn't focus much on the shitty characters (namely the main characters token shounen MC Eran, brother complex bitch Mikasa and Justin Bieber haircut nobody Armin) and actually bothered to focus on one of the few decent characters, i.e. Sasha and Hangë/Levi to a certain extent. I hope the next episode will focus more on them as well (+Erwin) and not the main characters or that skinhead (?) Connie. I'm raising my score from a 2 to a 3 |

| The opening has grown on me now. At first the characters getting dressed and imitating the S1 OPs too closely didn't do it for me. But the SASAGEYO part gets better the more I see it. I even approve of the flying whale from Re:Zero making an appearance now, as well. I had forgotten how entertainingly silly Sasha is. Studio Wit bring her retardation to life in an endearing way, it has to be said. Must be their favourite character. I also very much enjoyed Kris diagonally headbutting Ymir as they argued about Sasha. Maybe being small can be made to work. Huh... There were also a few stupid parts I don't recall being as bothered by in the manga. The boy/girl Sasha saved monging out while his mom was eaten on his knees, with his mom silent. And Sasha jumping at a titan that could grab her... with an arrow. Yay for slippy blood. |

| I read the manga and even though I know what's gonna happen in these past two episodes, it still had me on the edge of my seat. My heart was pounding everytime. And once again, this show proved its music superiority. |

| I have no hopes for this community. This episode was directed in a stellar manner, portraying the horror of the situation in a far superior way compared to pretty much anything of season 1. Isayama and the director also managed to develop a gag character in a single episode while giving context to her previous comedic traits. But what do we hear from the audience? ''Filler!'' ''Don't waste time'' ''Sasha is boring'' ''show more action''. People like this is why fanservice and trashy shounens are the thing that sells in Japan. People don't care about characters or storytelling. They're not only ok with being fed flashy sparkly boom boom shows, they DESIRE and ASK for it. This thread made me very sad. |

| Great episode, showing some backstory for Sasha. I really like her being so gutsy that she chose a short distance method of killing than a long range one. xD However, considering that there are only 12 episodes for this season, I'm just hoping that this episode is a major piece to the bigger picture because I don't want to realize that the only thing we found out in the 2nd episode is the introduction of that defected titan. |

| Two things really shook me this episode: 1. Armin saying how they may have been protected by titans all this time in the wall 2. Connie's eyes and the eyes of the titan on his house.... that was striking! Loved the character development, but I don't want anymore people to die! These type of shows aren't good for me, I get too attached. Every time I see Levi I think of Petra... But I can't stop watching... |

| Two people went home to their villages, but only one was able to reunite with their family. But that's too much backstory for potato girl imo. Didn't care about her then, still don't care about her now. |

| It's been like 3.5 years since I watched AoT, and I didn't realize how annoying the constant screaming and crying was before. I know the show is supposed to be tense, but it does get quite over the top... and it's not something you notice in the manga bc no voices obviously. The good news is the night time stuff is my favorite part from the manga, looks like that's starting ^_^ |
