| Felt like the episode was directly connected to Mirai-hen, with Yukizome watching herself dead and breaking the 4th wall. Liked this opening much more than the other, feels a lot more creative. We all know Chiaki is best gril and dat fucking ship. Oh and Sonia, just gotta love her too. Loving all the 8bit transistions. All the references... Had a smile on my face throughout the episode my face kinda hurts. Really enjoyed this one a lot more than the other, maybe it's cause I was more attached to the characters than the other and that god-tier seiyuu cast. |
| Lol that was wild when she was gathering them all. Really liked the start how she's watching her death in the Future vol and talking about it. Also really good OP and ED, both visually and the songs, also I saw some panty shots but in the actual episode they kept hiding them, come on now. That "The Forbidden One" guy reminds me of Johnny Depp from that one movie. And lol Sonia Nevermind. Pretty likable class so far, wonder how will it all escalate from 0 to 100 real quick. |

| This was a thing of beauty. Even though I enjoyed the Future arc's premiere, I don't think it was anywhere this good. Honestly, it feels like there was just a lot more love poured into this episode. Not all the jokes worked, some were a bit too over the top (Nekomaru's bit) but most of them really did. Teruteru even got some pretty big laughs out of me, maybe even if the biggest laugh with his "My door of sexuality is already open" bit. But it's a tough call, with that Gundham, er, Tanaka the Forbidden One being him and Sonia & Kazuichi's scene. But I like that it wasn't all laughs. That scene with Hinata & Chiaki was pretty awesome. The music was great, I really like the pairing, and their discussion was pretty interesting. I like how Chiaki viewed her talent to Hajime's. "It doesn't make a difference whether you have a talent or not. I mean, that isn't the end goal. You have greater freedom than we do. All I have is games. But you can go anywhere and become anything." That's a pretty powerful sentiment though it hurts all the more knowing what Hajime becomes. And they're already building to it. The OP/ED are also great. Especially that ED, really clever visuals & great song. Perhaps my favorite ED of the year. |

I had completely forgotten Hajime was a reserve and wouldn't have been part of the class, so all I was expecting was him when he was standing there.. and then Chiaki bumps into him. Eyes widen, tear up. That was too much. ;w; And all that follows being cuteness between the two as well as inspiration from Chiaki to Hajime.. uuugh too much. |

| Loved it so much! It's so nice to see the whole cast's school days, although I'm sad about what lies in their future. The references to the Future Side fit in perfectly as well. Can't wait to see more! |

| So pretty much a whole episode dedicated to character introductions. I liked it. We got to see Yukizome and Kyouko's dad as well. Can't wait to see what this show will bring. Nice OP and ED as well. |

| This was unexpectedly lighthearted even by Danganronpa standards. From what we can see in the post-credits scene shit is gonna go down fast. Side note: It's great to see best girl Chiaki again! |

| Really fun episode. Loved the montage of catching all of the classmates. Didn't think Fuyuhiko would be showing up at class. Seeing Chiaki animated makes me so unbelievably happy but I'm scared what is going to happen to her. Although I guess things will be going horribly wrong for everyone in this series soon. |

| I kinda teared up seeing Chiaki's silhouette in the OP because I thought she won't be in it but then I saw her with Hinata with that cute OTP moment. I died from cuteness <3 Hinata really looks cool. Komaeda!!! Ur luck is always too awesome. Mikan's clumsiness was adorable <3 Nidai's super explosive shit was hilarious XD Tanaka's castle of darkness was epic and I actually kinda missed Teruteru with that perverted nature of his lol. Chisa's such an awesome character so far. Loving her. And that scene at the start was definitely interesting with her watching how she died. |

Teruteru's being all perv. Mikan's fanservice (the rotten orange (=mikan) scene was so funny). Nekomaru's epic shits. Nagito's ultimate bullshit luck. SONIA <3 IBUKI <3 GUNDAM <3 Kitagiri's father! Chisa's all like "Meh, I'm dead". Really looking forward to see how the two series are going to connect. Chiaki being there just make me sad, really sad. She is not one of the Remnants of Despair, so... :( |

| YES my girl sonia is back!! now i have my two faves from each game to watch in each arc - aoi and sonia! interesting how it starts out with yukizome watching her own death, either that was some sort of "afterlife" kind of scene or she's in on this game? i'm sure it'll get clarified as time goes on though. surprised at chiaki being not just an AI, i have a theory on it though (nothing too deep, and probably easy to think up): |

| this is probably crazy but i literally cried and screamed during the whole episode. Literally all the horrible pain and suffering i went through after ending SDR2 3 years ago was redeemed through this one episode alone. The best amount of fanservice i've received tbh. Just seeing them all happy (AND alive) and their personalities shining in normal life was beautiful. I love the first DR kids so much but SDR2 kids, i'm extremely attached to and miss them so much. I am sad that soon everything will turn into despair but I am happy to be hearing their voices and seeing them more animated. I don't know how to feel for Chisa yet, she's enjoyable and cool but I'm still a little confused on what her role is here. She's still sort of suspicious to me?? but idk her death is sort of looking reasonable now.
