My highscore should be around 30-35. But at the moment it's more like 4-6 a day. As others have said it depends on the anime and the feels related to it.

Around 15-20 during summer vacations or long weekends, I don't think I can do more than that because I also make music beside watching anime.

Which is impossible since a regular episode is 20 minutes. 3 episodes is 1 hour. 3*24=72. You can't watch more than 72 in 1 day.

I once tried to watch Eureka Seven in one go, I fell asleep around ep. 43... totally worth it... next time was trying to watch Soul Eater... ep 40 was my limit...

around 15 I guess? If I watch too much my eyes hurt a lot and it sucks.

Has anyone here hurts their eyes after spending lots of time watching anime?

30+, I almost never get higher than that because I don't stay up late to watch anime, I always go to bed at the same time. Except for one time when watching Detective Conan and playing FFXII I stayed up until five in the morning playing and watching so I probably watched 50+.

I usually watch 12-13 episode animes in a day, but if the series I'm watching is really good, and I don't have anything to do that day, I can easily get up to the 30 episode mark.

About 2-3 13 episode shows. or 36 episodes of something longer.

You should probably mention you watched short episodes instead of just stating a number.

Depends on whether or not I'm distracted and pause the anime constantly. However I'd say my average would have to be 20 or so episodes, usually spread out between 2 or 3 anime.

Today I've watched about 11 episodes between Naruto and FMA: Brotherhood and it's only 2pm. (started at 7am)
Obviously, very distracted today. lol

I would say my record would be from 20-25 episodes, or more depending if I'm deciding to finish more than 1 anime in one day.

I saw that and laughed. Some anime are short though like ova's and what not. Maybe refine the thread to the average 20 minute episodes.

Here's a list of the episodes I watched http://myanimelist.net/blog.php?eid=771641
The average length (I'm guessing) was 2:24 minutes.

About 30-ish episodes was my record I think. The last time I watched a bunch of episodes in one day was back on Tuesday I think, when I finished off the last remaining six episodes of Honey and Clover, and then watched the entirety of the second season (12 episodes) in the same day. So 18 eps in total, quite a lot for a work day.

Duration: 23 min. per episode = Roughly 1.5 days for 97 episodes. Assuming the 3 minutes is for opening and ending then cutting that out is 1.3 days. This is also just for the original series and not the newer Majin Buu.

And so? Someone cannot spend 1.3 says in the same spot? That is not literally possible? Truth is it is possible just unlikely.

My record is 30 episodes but it was with Gintama.

But usually when I watch "a lot" in one day it is just 14-15 episodes.

I can push through about 30-35: considering that most amines are around 20 minutes long. If I'm especially hyped, I might rack up 40. (Skipping sleep and eating while watching.)

I went to a convention many years ago that was premiering the Evangelion Death & Rebirth movie and the End of Evangelion movie. At the time they weren't available in North America other than old school fansubs and bad Hong Kong DVDs. I had the series but hadn't gotten around to watching it yet. I didn't want to miss the chance to see the movies at the con so three days before the con I powered through all 26 episodes of Evangelion in one sitting. It seemed like a good idea at the time but by the end my eyeballs were swimming and my brain was tired. I would never recommend sitting through all of Evangelion in one sitting, especially if it's your first time watching it. I believe that was the most I ever watched at one time.

I don't really have the time to spend a whole day watching anime but when I do marathon my max is usually 12 episodes at the very most. Six episode marathons is probably average for me.

Watched 23 episodes of Fate/SN yesterday. And that's with a few long breaks to play Akiba's Trip. It's pretty easy to watch 30 or more eps if you're dedicated to it.
