| After this episode I think I have found a new favorite anime of all time. It reminds me of all my favorite things, and also of everything important that I have learned thus far in my life as a human being. Everything in this show is so perfect, but especially the perspectives on the world and the future and human nature. This is the most mature piece of media I have ever seen in terms of world view: it takes a step back, leaves room for nuance, but doesn't let things like philosophy impede simple emotion. This is the kind of story I can only dream of being able to tell one day. Approaching the last third of the series, I can't wait to see what happens next, and how it ends. |
| I am not loving this anime, but I have to admit that this episode was pretty good. Maria's letter was quite touching and Saki's nightmare was scary! |
