Anyways, I thought it was pretty obvious that Airi was the only one Satoru ever had romantic feelings for, I mean he outright said (well he thought it) he liked her in one of the early chapters. Right before he lost consciousness from drowning, Airi was the last one he thought of. Not to mention looks like she's gonna be the one to trigger his memory, not even seeing Kayo did much to help him remember. Not many will think like that when the anime comes at this point though lol. The salt will pour... Not sure about Airi... I can already hear the screams of agony from the future. Someone who helped her out of her miserable life, isolation, saving she their abuses and giving meaning to his life, and he also saved his life and because of this he ended up seriously injuring and he ended staying in coma for 15 years. She waits 15 years is very little, even 500 years still would be very little near everything Satoru had to endure, suffer and go through for this ungrateful woman. Satoru she saved of his miserable life, of the abuses, of her life without thanks, insulation, Satoru was a light in his miserable life, he also saved his life and because of this he ended up seriously injuring and he ended staying in coma for 15 years. KayoNTR is the worst girl and the most ungrateful girl of season 2015/2016 Satoru and Airi can only be a joke, clearly would be a aspull, it would be totally forced, the author was making a joke in bad taste, what would be only because Satoru have to end up with someone, clearly it would be an offense, Airi would only a prize of consolation from the author to Sotaru as an excuse by all the misfortunes and sufferings, that Sotaru had to endure and endure by the girl-NTR thankless. Just remember that in the early chapters Sotaru is a guy with almost 30 years and Airi is a schoolgirl of 16 years. If the author was going to push Airi to Sotaru, he should have worked more on his character, giving more focus, development, and spending a few chapters in his character, Airi is a very under developed character. Clearly the focu manga was in the relationship between Sotaru and KayoNTR, the author gave a lot of focus and emphasis to the character KayoNTR, and now subtly he do that shit. Like this guy. XD I wonder how many will retract the "Kayo best girl" in the anime discussions..... |

You sound entitled lol. Kayo doesn't owe Satoru anything but her gratitude and respect. She doesn't owe him a relationship or romance or anything like that, and like I said, Satoru never really had feelings for her like that (although the situation was weird, he was still 28 and she was 10/11, come on now lmao.) Satoru just wanted to save her. Idk how in your mind, Satoru saving Kayo automatically means she has to get with him romantically lol. That's not how it works. Satoru and Airi would only be a joke to you because you're wearing your shipping goggles. Satoru has stated he likes Airi, and that she is one of the only ones he can trust. She's the only one who believed in him when he was a suspect in his Mom's murder. They don't need to have all these chapters and development to show that they really grew close during the time Airi was helping Satoru out. And no, in the early chapters, Airi is 17 and Satoru is 28. A large age gap I agree, but it's anime after all lmao. Plus I think the age of consent in Japan is between 14-16 or something like that. Clearly the focus of the manga was on Satoru SAVING Kayo and everyone else along with stopping the killer, not their relationship. Hell, after Satoru saved her, their relationship took a back burner and we hardly saw Kayo. Anyways, neither Airi or Kayo are consolation "prizes" for Satoru. They're human beings. You sound sexist and entitled, in the end none of the girls have to get with Satoru if they don't want to. Chill with the bitterness. |

This person is so freaking salty. It's really stupid to think that Satoru saved Kayo so she is automatically his. She isn't a slave. She has her own life to live. She is free to choose her romance. Her happy life is what Satoru wanted, and he got exactly that. Airi is a supporting character. And I can say she has enough depth for that role. You don't have to spend so much time for a supporting character. There is no rule saying that main guy and main girl have to end up together. Your bitterness is hilarious. Pretty sad when your typical Otaku fantasy is smashed to pieces, huh? |

And seeing Kayo happy, having a family, and living a life so different from her childhood is what made Satoru happy. I don't see Kayo is any way at all ungrateful. Kayo looks at Satoru as a hero more than anything else. Personally, I want Satoru to end up alone in the end. I want him to be the guy who saved many lives in return for nothing. That'll make him a true hero.sugarpeach said: Everyone is so salty lol, of course Kayo moved on. She can't wait and cry over someone that may or may not wake up forever. Hmm... I just read chapter 35. I must say I'm impressed. Even with everyone else's ship sink *cough* KayoxSatoru *cough*, now the true ship has actually sailed. I'm glad that Kayo is happy, to wait 15 years for Satoru who you know in less than a year is just unrealistic for Kayo. So I'm glad that the author took a somewhat realistic way, by marrying Kayo with someone she knows for at least 15 years. Also it doesn't seem that Kayo is that big in Satoru's life. He probably focused on Kayo because he unintentionally forgets that his main mission is to safe his mother. But remembered that by saving Kayo, it means saving his mom. Although I really like Airi, I can't really see why she's the key to this amnesia. Well probably because Airi is the only person that believed in Satoru and that she almost died because of him. Not to mention that he dreamed about her in previous chapter, thinking she's going away. So... yay best girl is back! |

From what I've read so far(to raw ch.42) Kayo is a character added to the story just to gain attention from the reader. To make it straight, she was label as the main character solely for marketing purpose. If you cut her screen time out her role was just a supportive role and she's not even relevant to the plot or MC. You can actually said, she's a pointless character in the story that can easily replace by any character. If you feel like you got trolled or waste your time then you can blame it on the author or the editor, I guess? This happen a lot to manga/anime these day. |

Haven't read that part yet 'cause raws... His mother should have been second main character at this point. She's done so much for Satoru Kayo couldn't even do if she was with him anyways. She up brought him, protecting him from his regrets, his body during the coma. Best mom 2016 <3 ( I know she wasn't the focus of the main story but still...) GJ for the author for making fans believe there was something between Satoru and Kayo more than friendship without even saying it directly. All those scenes that made their relationship so ambiguous. I have to admit I sorta fell to that trap myself lol.:D And it wasn't a romance series to begin with. It's about the redemption of Satoru with the power of Revival. And catching that asshole of a murderer. Don't expect anything with Airi at this point. Not only their relationship has been rectonned to complete strangers, and their relationship becoming more than friendship is unlikely to happen since she's more the trigger of the return of his memories. (that's the feeling I have but still happy she's back). Can't wait to read more when it comes translated. Volume 6 that is. |

Well, this is a bit harsh but it's actually reasonable to push Kayo if they want this manga to sell. The real main cast which consist of MC, Airi, and his mom was totally bland and can not gain any attention at first glance so they have to create the character that can gain attention from the reader and at the very least make it looks like that character was the pinnacle of the story to make the reader willing to follow the manga. The fact that they end her role means the story will end soon, if I'm not wrong it will end within ch.45 and volume 8 will be the last volume. By the way, this chapter is the end of volume 6. Basically, what they've done is nothing new, to be exact this is the very basic 'same old trick' and it also work this time as well. |

I was mixed into wanting to know who's the culprit and if Satoru could save Kayo. (he did this to save his mother primarily...) Well it didn't affect me that much since I was already spoiled something "weird" might happen through fellow manga readers. I thought they'd all die or some shit like that. And then when I got into those last pages, I was like: what's the fuss all about? And then I realised it was just this. Well yea whatever. I know this is the fifth chapter of volume 6 but still gonna read it physically when it get released in my country. :D Well hoping we get a satisfying end at least... |

It's not the author's fault if he wanted to create a story with realistic character development and interactions. Sure the Revival part is not realistic but that's taken for granted so... It's just a story at the end and if you get easily blinded by all this, you wouldn't notice in fact the mother is actually the best character in the whole series. :^) |

Cmon guys, Kayo was a kid then, what were you expecting? her waiting for Satoru to wake up or not for God knows when? Im glad the author didnt do some BS fairy tale unrealistic type of Kayo waiting for Satoru. Im just glad he somewhat succeeded on his misson, just a lil more and its a mission complete! KIK THAT FCKING TEACHERS ASS! surely this wont end with the teacher not getting caught or dead! Couldnt care less for the romance in this manga (never really cared for the romance and didnt notice it, was more focused on who the fck the killer is and how he can save Kayo) but I definitely prefer Airi over Kayo, Airi's the girl that fcking believed in him when no one else was (besides the uncle I think, the bearded guy with glasses) and thats what he needed, someone to give him the determination to not give up, you dont know how that means, when almost everyone suspects you for something you didnt do and having someone believe you and lend you a hand. Kayo was a mission for Satoru, to prevent his mother from dying. Airi's his will or more specifically, his key. |

Don't forget Satoru x Mom is eternal and unconditional. <3 That will be a hype destroyer that's for sure. I kinda hope the author doesn't make the "everyone is happy besides Satoru" kind of ending. That would hurt my heart. ;-; And at this point even his relationship with Airi has being erased... |

This is probably the image the anime gets currently. But they are so wrong. And they will realize sooner or later. Lots of people just can't take these kind of harsh stories though so it will leave them frustrated. We don't even know if this will have a happy, a bad or a bittersweet ending. I think stories don't need a complete happy ending to be amazing. In fact it might sometimes even ruin the feeling. (though I hopee we will get one here xd) But most people want cheap and funny or happy entertainment mostly which doesn't leave a weird or sad aftertaste. oh well |

And those chapters just made this series 10/10 rating worthy. As far the ending, I still hope it's somehow happy 'cause after all Satoru endured. I don't want him to be erased... ;-; I bet they will rage for a moment and then realised there's nothing to rage about. |

I can understand why some people are raging over the ntr, but c'mon, they were only 11... and we all knew it was either Kayo or Airi and it's not like he failed to get both, he still has Airi in the end |

Who cares about Kayo or Airi ?! Satoru had the best woman --> His mom. And I don't think Satoru will end up with a high school girl. The age gap is so huge. Maybe he just end up being a famous or a great mangaka because that's his dream, right ? (Give him some happy ending you bastard author or I'm gonna kill you). And I dont' really care about SatoruxKayou shipping since I don't really like romance in any development. |

If the author wants to ship Satoru with Airi, at least give them some romantic development. I won't accept it if they ended up as a couple without some real development. |

Oh God this manga at first..... I was expecting a grade 8 anime but oh my oh my..... This is a potential rated 10 masterpiece.... Now let me sum it all since I read all the manga in just a span of 24 hours..... After watching the anime and left me craving for moreeeeeee. Feelings of happiness, and Sadness and the same time,,, I'm having this enormous feelings in me again.... and oh I forgot we're just in c-35.... I'm hoping and asking ..... PLEASE I NEED MOWRRRR OF THIS... No matter how the story unfolds and what the MC will be This will be one that instant ALL TIME FAV.... Oh dang I've completely lost it,.... instead of discussing about this chapter.... Forgive my Blabberings /.... |

Cr7_vi_Britannia said: sugarpeach said: Everyone is so salty lol, of course Kayo moved on. She can't wait and cry over someone that may or may not wake up forever. I totally agree with you, i mean, i was expecting a more emotional encounter, but like someone said, he never got anything good from helping others with revival, i just hope something good happens to him, because he deserves everything good after what he did, so he can be happy like the others, at least he got his mom :) is it possible for a revival to happen here? |

Y u all say that Sotaru aint have love interest on Kayo, but hory shet: -The Xmas tree -Birthday present -Brushes and the "sleepin at Sotaru's home" scene. -Holding hands -Kayo back to school. (were Sotaru nearly going smashed by the car) Kayo had feeling for him too so dont just talk about the MC~ LOL That page cleary says the mangaka is bullying on us(but not lost the hope) http://a.mhcdn.net/store/manga/11208/034.0/compressed/k032.jpg?v=1450731128 Im sure Sotaru will go back in time cuz something bad will happen..again. Airi is just a key to get his memory back(to remember where he comes from, and hir mission)..she's still a teen for him afterall~ LOL |

This is a supernatural seinen manga, not a romance. Suck it up people there ain't gonna be no romance just because there's school and there HAS to be romance in school "setting" mangas. It looks like people forgot his purpose in the first place, saving his mom, not hooking up with 10 year old girls and playing hero in a 10 year old body. You're all morons. |

I am seriously wondering why people can't just enjoy the story for what it is without forcing unnecessary relationships to satisfy their imagination. Seriously people, just place yourself in other people shoes and observe from distance what you've wrote. It really weird, I mean no normal person in my eyes would write or expect something like that. On top of all this, it was a friend relationship, from the very beginning, not a love interest. Back on topic, I do not like the amnesia, it feels contrived, but then again, like in the start, he's always getting into trouble after a successful(?) revival. |

well I always thought kayo x satoru was awkward satoru didn't had romantic feelings for her I think(comeon guys he's 29 :DDD) and so much happened when satoru was in coma couldn't blame kayo when she had romantic feelings for others since their only interaction was during elementary I don't know how would satoru and airi would react to each other next chap but I ship them |

MC was sleeping for 15 years. Around 9th year, MC started breathing, brain wave recovered to a "sleep state", he started to wake up... but then Kayo decided to have a baby with a baby-girl Hiromi. GG, Kayo! Mom x MC!! :D |

>Airi is the highlight of this chapter >literally everything that happened in this chapter is important except the brief moment with Kayo >everyone is preoccupied with Kayo salt >ok.png The last 4ish pages gave me chills. That was incredible. Satoru's bond with Airi is beautiful. How can you people be so upset over your ship sinking that you miss the most important part of the chapter? ;-; That said, it seems pretty obvious to me that Satoru will not end with anyone (or at least any girl yet revealed). This isn't a romance, and it's not a generic battle shounen where the MC always ends with one of the main girls. There was never even any romance in this story. Can't a boy and girl look out for each other without it leading to fucking? For that matter, Satoru didn't save Kayo just so he could be with her. Hell, he didn't even go back to 1988 to save Kayo at all; he wanted to save HIS MOTHER. Saving Kayo was just a necessary part of the goal and because he didn't want anybody to die. It had little to do with who she was or his desire to be with her, and frankly it would've been exceptionally strange if it was considering she was, what, 11 (?) and he was for all intents and purposes still 28. If he actually expressed desire for her in the story y'all woulda been disgusted by him. But the important part here is the completely ridiculous assertion that Kayo should've wasted her life waiting for Satoru because he saved her. Disregarding the fact Kayo was never Satoru's absolute priority, the fact he never expressed romantic interest in her, or the fact she had no idea she was going to be the victim of a kidnapping murder and as far as she knows he only helped her escape her mother's abuse, no woman (or man) IRL would do that or be expected to. She was a little kid for God's sake. Those shipping goggles sure do a bloody excellent job at blinding a person to logic. tl;dr Satoru x Airi OTP |

Oh lol this NTR is still on-going? is the NTR even real? since we know Kayo with Hiromi now Truthfully, about the pairing i didn't mind the MC not end up with main girl... i think it's already clear that he is interested in Airi, the one who makes me salty is Kayo ended up with random person at least put some moments between them you author . I'd prefer her ended up with Ken'ya since it seems more logical better than that random mob sorry Hiromi, but it's still so random |

How can you people be so upset over your ship sinking that you miss the most important part of the chapter? ;-; Can someone give this person a cookie? The manga is not even over yet xD And people really think Kayo should wait 15 years to eventually wake up IF EVEN. Does anyone know about this coma stuff here really? He could wake up anytime. But he could also never wake up. What is she? Hachiko? I'm pretty sure they all hoped he would wake up, but they couldn't be sure. 15 years is such a long time. Memories from these brief time disappier and get hazier as days go by. And she is supposed to be only with him? A grade schooler in mind, but not body who might not even want to be together with her or remember a thing if he even wakes up? This is ridiculous. Gotta stay out of the forums next time lol. But yeah this was a really touching chapter and I wasn't occupied with kayo at all. Goddamn zadion your post was amazing though. |
