Feel sorry for Nia being abandoned like that.

Looks like everyone else is happy to have her on her side at the end.

Hopefully Simon can pull himself together and defeat Adiane next time they fight her.

Nia is a darling. Hopefully she will be able to get Simon out of his funk.

Though she was being insensitive in regards to Kamina. I get that she doesn't know much about the world, but it was a bit much.

I liked Viral's interactions with Adine in this episode, I hope we can see more of these on the side of beastmen. Adine's gunmen is hilarious tho. Talking pants and two eyes instead of breasts. Looks a bit like a butterfly, and resembles a certain someone from Kill la Kill.
Simon needs to stop trying to be like Kamina. He should be himself.

P.S. Nia's voice is so sweet that it feels a bit too much at first, even. Although I guess I'm ok with it after watching the whole episode. It seems like she's learning quickly and won't be just a moe character for no real purpose, that's really great. I hope she'll eventually find some common ground with Yoko and Simon and befriend them. She legitimately looks like a good girl and I don't expect anything bad from her.

I think this anime improved after Kamina's death. At least it got a bit serious and I really enjoyed this episode.

Fuuck after what happened at Episode 8, i've lost all the interest. I was fearful from Episode 1 onwards that it was going to happen coz that generic shounen type hero is too incompetent to be true. Well, i will dropped at this episode, tbh i can't even finish this episode because what's the point really. I was enjoying this anime only for "that thing". And if there is no "that thing" then this anime has no appeal atleast for me..... HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.... Furthermore some cute girl cannot replce "that thing"....

Man, Simon is in a dark place (Yoko isn't much better). There's a void, and it's not easily replaced, if ever. These are some very adult, mature emotions.

It's as if the story is progressing forward, with this princess, a new general, the introduction of the spiral king, and the new leadership of Dai Gurren, but Simon and Yoko have been bypassed as they grapple with their depression.

I don't know why a lot of people are hating on Nia, I actually really like her as of now. During the last moments of this episode I felt really happy for her <3 (she's still not as great as Kamina tho :p)

And poor Viral getting hit by that lady (i forgot her same XD)

Nia is a good character, but things for Simon are getting from bad to worse. I suppose in next couple of episodes Simon is gonna rise again to fight this Adena girl(whatever her name is).

It's already episode 10 and I still can't believe bro is dead. Gurren Lagann gatekeepers I thank you no one spoiled this death for me. It hit me deep in the gut. I really was starting to hate Kamina but then all of a sudden BOOOOOM. NOw I'm like I should've given him a chance😭

Ya know, I actually quite like Nia as a character I really do. I mean she’s nice and doesn’t really know much about the world because of her sheltered life but she is definitely able to hold her own against Aidane. To be fair to Simon, he did lose Kamina so he’s got every right to still be miserable, I so sympathise with him about that. Viral I feel sorry for now because he’s just being lashed at repeatedly by Aidane at the end.

Really interested what the next part of this story will offer personally.

It's gut-wrenching to see Simon gets a "Amuro Treatment" I hope he develops well tho. Yoko is getting idiotic & annoying as the ep goes by. Nia being naive and shi is understandable since she's a sheltered princess, it's nice to see that the stupid brigade led by that Kittan comes to understand her after what they've witnessed.

Called it, that he'd react like that but "long since cast her out" is kind of BS as she was literally just dumped there like it just happened. Why TF is this viral bitch still alive but, BRUH that's just doing Kamina extra dirty. Actually a more accurate defenition of "true hate" is in fact "indifference" so yes she does hate you. Because the other kind of "emotional hate" is a form of love, after all you have to actually care about someone to hate them.
But to not care about them at all is perhaps the purest form of hate.
Ain't no way irrelevant ass Viral just lifted that whole thing that was about to crush her. Like SINCE WHEN does his Gunmen have the strength to do that. Does Viral seriously not know Kamina is dead?
But sure, yeah Kamina is literally and impossible Shadow to live up to. And the anger towards Nia was kind of justified as she did in fact not know how great a character he was.

Replacing Kamina for Nya is a very brave move that i did not liked. I was expecting Simon to be the protagonist, let me see how this goes. So far Nya is not my cup of tea, not just because of her character itself, but also about the Simon's chracter development, that still did not blended really well.

poxa, cara, eu adorei a Nia... ela é toda cute cara. aparentemente vai ser ela quem vai botar o menino Simon de volta nos trilhos, já que ele ta acabado no momentoKKKKKKK serio, quero ver mais dela. gosto como ela, de certa forma, quase tem a mesma loucura inconsequente do Kamina, só que executada de outra maneira - você vê ela falando com a general lá, questionando sobre ela, só que em nenhum momento ela demonstra alguma espécie de medo do que pode acontecerKKKKK ela só vai falando e falando... de qualquer forma, eu gostei dela
é até meio triste o passado dela, mas acho que era de se esperar do vilão final, né?

a luta foi epica tambem, que se nao fosse pelo Viral, teria acabado com a escorpiã (mulherao inclusive cof cof). pra ser honesto, dos viloes que apareceram até agora, achoq ele é meu favorito, simplesmente porque ele tem toda aquela honra e rivalidade com o que antes era o Kamina né... inclusive, quem fala pra ele, guys?

enfim, foi um belo episódio, eu gostei
