Really loved this episode. I like Mirai tho, she's a pretty realistic example of a typical middle school girl in a dysfunctional family. At least I can understand her reason why she acts like that.

Animation, voices, characters, everything fits for me in this animation. Looking forward to a lot more of this show!

This looks like it's going to be very dramatic. I'm looking forward to watching this all the way through. I got nothing against the character I think she's going to mature with all that's going to happening.

Nice start to the series.
Mirai could use a good slap across the face, but doesn't everyone at least once in their life?
When the earthquake happened, it was very well done. I've been in an earthquake before, not that powerful, but it's not the best experience to have believe me!
I hope Yuuki is alright D:

Holy shit. I had no idea abingdon boys school was doing the OP. That alone makes me love this series.

Just about every series in the Noitamina anime slot is win, I expect no less.

I thought the first episode was pretty averge. It's an interesting concept though. The characters didn't really grab my attention, and the main character is annoying. It's well cheesy calling the her Mirai as well. It means 'future'. I guess they'll run into that delivery woman again later, and those robots that can climb over rocks are obviously going to be the rescuers. I'll check out the second episode, but I'm thinking I'll probably drop this.

That was amazing. Finally, some realistic characters! The art is very good, especially the backgrounds in the robot exhibition. That girl has a serious problem with mood swings, but not unrealistically so like some anime girls, so I don't mind at all.

This anime is very realistic, I like how the character development was done. It's a bit slow paced but I think it's me, I don't usually watch slice of life type of anime. Looking forward to this series, very promising.

That was refreshingly different and realistic. Love it how people complain about unrealistic characters and then complain even more when they're given some. Gotta love the anime community.

Anyway, this should be really interesting. Looking forward to the next episode.

Funny how they named her Mirai. As if she could influence what happens, with her little blog. :D

This.
I am very hooked to this one since it's based on a real event and the plot and characters seems quite realistic. Sure, the little girl is a little irritating, but she seems to act like someone of her age. I like the animation so far as well, the eathquake was kinda scary.

I noticed the name thing too. Clever and fitting choice indeed.

Finally some realistic anime characters! This first episode got me completely hooked. The family dynamic was incredibly real and I could relate so much with Mirai... I'm so happy there are no anime stereotypes in this show. At least I didn't notice any ^^"

Yeah it was interesting. I like a lot Mirai's classmates they are done good in the BD version. Yuuki looks cheerful with plant planting with his friend. Mirai looks to have a major problem for her mom for working. The robot exhibition was ok. Details are impeccable in the BD version.

In spoiler my anime list for now.

Very nice start, animation was pretty good but I didn't like the character design.
I see we have a depressive main character living in a somewhat destructured family ( or so,I guess). I like this kind of character, she reminds me of Tomoya. And like him she doesn't like the town she lives in and she doesn't care about her future.
Also this episode was really a nice walk through Tokyo.

Yeah, I'm rather moe for Yuuki. But anyways, I really liked this first episode. The ED reminds me a bit of Mahou Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto ~Natsu no Sora~'s OP.

Considering that this is the first episode I don't have much to say about the plot, but, so far, there is nothing to complain about. Right from the beginning I was amazed at how detailed and well done the background and scenery was done; it is not often that a series puts that much work into. I'm sure each episode takes a long time to create.

^definitely a fitting reason to start, and that's why I'm watching it right now too. :P

Well, this seems to be quite a realistic anime. I'm kinda mixed about the art in that the backgrounds are great but the character designs are rather lacking. The earthquake scene was very well depicted, and I'm looking forward to the rest.

My condolences to the Japanese, hope you guys make it through alright.

Yeah, she's bratty and selfish and annoying. That's how teenagers of this generation (over generalisation but yeah) are, great representation. Everything is there, all the technology to do everything for her, hence no ambition. Really works. Realistic.

Mirai is a bit whiner than I would like.

But when the Earthquake came I was somehow tearing up. D:

I seriously disliked that woman with the little boy and ice cream. =.=

And the opening music is great. <3
