| Woot So glad that there will be a third season of Shana after all. This is kinda odd cause the night before I was ranting to my friends on ventrillo about how I was pissed that the Shana project that they had announced a few months ago was an OVA and not a third season. But today when I was checking ANN I nearly jizzed myself when I learned of a third season. In a nut shell I am pretty happy =D Mod Edit: Please don't double post. |

| Pretty happy - hopefully we can get any/most of the flashback eps done in the OVA series for S3 can be at least 60% action. I'm just praying that if S3 is the final season they don't end it ala Tsubasa Chronicles. |

| If they do the novel end I'll be happy, the last 2 seasons had fillers at the end and changed the endings mainly. That being said, the novels SHOULD be ending soon so they BETTER do the novel end. |
| I'm glad they at least clarified that they intend to end the anime series once and for all Maybe this time we'll get a proper ending, preferably one that follows the novel. |

Sorry, I just assumed that his inflammatory comments on Shana continue to provoke people into emotional responses. | I'll be looking forward to them.... truthfully there was a lot of filler throughout the series, but certainly the animation is top notch and Shana fillers are still more fun to me than a lot of crap that's been on. This will be a great way to round out the upcoming anime seasons. |

Now you can accept that and still love it like me or not accepting that one of the thing you like got badly produced (Because it is good for you don't mean it couldn't have been way better) like fai. |

However animation quality can't be stated as "opinion", since animation quality is something to be judged by universal values common to everyone. You can state opinion on Music, Animation Style, Art, Characters, Story, etc You can't state "opinion" on "quality" of something, be it music or animation. The animation in shana always lacked the OOMPH it could have had, 2005 had many things with great animation quality, Karas, Ayakashi~Japanese Classic Horror Stories, Basilisk, not to mention Trinity Blood, Blood+ or FMP.... Hell Even dreaded failures like FSN(which was like "previously on FSN" recap of its v-novel with everything mish-mashed into one thing) and Mai Otome(which was like a hentai doujin version of MaiHime greatness), had great animation quality, greater than Shana's Hence why I always felt that SnS franchise would have had more quality if it was released in form of OVAs/movies, covering the parts of story, aka how Kara no Kyoukai is handled. |

If he changed his opinion just to go with the flow then he'd just be a sheep. With that said, can both sides stop trying to shove their views down the throat of one another? Neither of you will ever get the other to consider your view as the absolute truth. |

I am just stating the obvious fact that while person can h ave opinion on various parts that compose one particular anime, there SHOULD be a general consensus on the level of production values No matter how one hates the story or anime itself, one can still recognise the level of production quality in that show. Production values are something that you can compare to other values of that time and hence Shana is lackluster effort in this department. As for opinions and "stop trying to shove them" - hey I am not the one who keeps jumping on certain people from thread to thread, just because they think in a way I don't agree with. There's no "absolute truth" and no "supreme/superior" opinion, hence the things certain people in this thread are doing are just...stupid? |

Anyway, I just really don't like arguments online between hardcore fans, because ussually both sides won't ever come to an agreement and it's all an exercise in futility. |

But the third was like humans creation, and the final fight was cool. ^^ Anime: Bleach 1. The Rukia plot. Great start. Cool fights, good story and tells a little about most of the characters. 2. The Bounto plot. Fights got worse, got a lot boring flash back`s and the new characters where a drag. 3. The Aizen plot. Fights are great, less flash back`s, the new enemy`s are cool too. So if we look at my nonsense text we get that the first creation is always the best, but then the second comes and its usually worse then the first one. But at the 3rd one they usually try to make it good again, so i`m look`ing + and i think that the 3rs season will be great. ^^ |

Unless they are using the OVA to set things straight and reboot the series (I wouldn't mind them retconning season 2 altogether) I don't like the odds. In other words, the OVA might show what we can expect out of Season 3. |

People talk about shows they don't like all the time - there are plenty of reasons why they do it. Do you honestly believe that you're so important that Fai gets a high out of trolling you? If you can't accept that he wants to have a discussion and raise negative points about a piece of fiction *you* should be the one keeping your thoughts to yourself. |
