It's a great de-construction and re-construction of fantasy action Shonen.

It's very theam-atically strongs, sticks close to it's themes.

The character depth and development balanced and flows with the plot. Neither is focused on too much, that is loses flow, and even poorly does it.

It may not be the deepest series in the world, but when it's deep, it actually gets deep, and no-where near pretentious

The story-telling is straight-forward...and fairly predictable...but the fact that it's such a predictable and straight-forward story that's still good enough to keep your interst for 64-130 Episodes is extremely impressive.

The art-style is beautifully done, unique, and has this cool style I like. They mixed gritty real world mixed with fantasy mixed with Anime...it's really cool.

The character designs are brilliantily done and creative.

FMA: Brotherhood, specifically, has no obvious flaws, besides the pace rushing in the first Season. There's no plot-holes, etc.

It changed my life, and is the most power-ful and emotionall power-ful series I've ever had the pleasure of watching.

The fact that you get two stories, two master-piece stories. FMA 2003 and FMA: Brotherhood is beautiful. That's a once in a life time opportunity.

FMA 2003 may be flawed, and have ass-pulls and plot holes...but think about it this way. FMA 2003 doesn't skip the beginning of the FMA Manga...and it strayed away from the Manga half-way through, of course it's going to have plot-holes and ass-pulls. They made it as perfect as possible for creating their own story half-way through the story.

Both Anime's ending are theamatically strong in their own way.

FMA 2003 shows the negative and more realistic effects of equivelant exchange.

FMA:B is a story about the brothers getting their bodies back for an equivelant exchange.

The soundtrack is brilliant for both.

The English dubs are fantastic.

I'll never get sick of the ED/OP.

FMA 2003, and FMA:B complete each other's experiences even though they're completely different stories. Which I find very impressive and amazing!

Also FMA 2003, espically Brotherhood are the greatest pieces of media I've ever experienced in my life. They're the first pieces of media to make me sob out loud. Oddly enough, FMA: Brotherhood made me sob out loud a lot more.

Also this scene will stick with me until I die...

"Alphonse, look at me! I promise, someday soon! I'm coming back for you! Just you wait! Wait for me" "Let it all out..."

I'm a man, and I sobbed like a baby for like 30 minutes, it blew my mind. That's when I knew FMA:B was the greatest thing to ever happen in my life!

How far ya through? Nasuverse is the world in which the stories of kinoko nasu takes place. Zero is a off shoot of stay night so yeah. Also nasu had all the ideas uro just stitched it together with his most likely superior writing style.
