| Haven't you guys been listening to what archer is saying. He is saying that shirou is stupid and he's proven right time and again. I think the problem arises from the anime being a 3rd person narrative. Honestly it's not the best story to watch weekly and with a 3 month break before the interesting half of story. I will admit, I found this section of the VN quite boring. However this adaptation has done things to spice it up and make episode 12 feel really climatic. Also there will be pretty much 0 SOL scenes in the next season. If you still hate shirou at the end because of his stupid ideal then wait a bit longer for the movie(s). You can't complain because the visual novel has been out for 10 years so if your going anime only then your going to have to wait. |

| Asuna is a person who get stuck in a video game (maybe with some past tarum haven't seen the latest arc). Rin is a girl that has been burderned by her father and her past her entire life. Her father died when she was 10 and she was cared for buy this crazy priest for the next 7 years. She also has a reason for liking shirou as showed that they have something in common (magecraft) but they are polar opposites in said thing they have in common which I can quite related too. That quite a lot more than asuna who just goes all dere on kirito. |

(your meant to relate to shinji tbh but that's another point) Fate stay night is all about philosophy and ideology. In a funny way, UBW is a huge deconstruction of the super hero/shounen protag genre. This is what happens when you prioritise your ideals (and try and save your basically sister which I think any who isn't a evil twat would do) over being a cold blooded magus like he's meant to be. We all saw what happened to kiritsugu and ever fucking one else in fate zero. |
