The people in these societies tend to be richer and more educated, and thus are more likely to produce great talent and human capital. On the other hand, it is the poor people in third world countries that need to stop having babies. Most of these kids will never have access to proper education, and will probably be stuck working as slave labourers for the rest of their lives. |

It's a way bigger problem in Africa, or India, where the population just keeps increasing yet the country is already incapable of taking care of it's inhabitants. While the declining is not a problem now, it will be someday. But it's not like they can control it, unless they issue an edict where families with more than 1 kid get bonuses, or something like that. |
