WTF was that ending?????!!!!!

If that wasn't someone's dream than this series really jumped the shark this episode - and no ordinary shark, but one the size of a blue whale!!!

I find the last part a little hard to believe.. Even if it's a illusion show that Kuroha ordered, it's seemed too true to be an illusion.. Lol.

I like the part where Kuroha and Takizawa were checking up and stopping each other (arrest by traffic police, traffic accident, buy the whole hotel over and out-buying each other) with the help of Juiz. If Juiz were to know that 2 Selecao members were involved, I bet she'll be sitting there and enjoying the drama!

I guess most of us are not surprised that Takizawa is involved in the missile attacks, oh well. I wonder if No. 9 (Takizawa) is the Supporter, then will some other Selecao take over his role as a Supporter after he lost his memories (since he had no idea on that in the first place)? Is No. 1 the Supporter? I'm rather interested to see how No. 1 is involved in contributing/resulting No. 9 to go for a brainwashing program.

I thought Takizawa's Johnny was in danger when he fainted in Kuroha's arms and after Kuroha heard Saki's voice over his phone.. I guess not. Seriously, Takizawa is really good with women, isn't he? lol

So where is Ohsugi? An identity mix-up in the first place or did Kuroha really switched him for another guy?

"Super Illusion Material, three varieties"

I'm assuming those are lifting Oosugi, the wings, and changing his face?

More likely "Bull Shit, More Shit, Piled on higher and Deeper"

Regardless of what was on the cellphone, the whole idea of throwing in a "super magical illusion" is pure BS and garbage writing.

At first I thought, yea new Eden yea woo. Then I was like ooooookkkkkkkk...

They sure do love their johnnies.

Also, Juiz can do anything, like magic wings in a matter of seconds but doesn't know who the Johnny Hunter is?

Ah, where is this show going...

I already had this impression from earlier episodes (especially Akira's "hallucination" a few back), but it looks like the creators of this show may be drawing on magical realism, which is a possibile explanation as to the intent of why the ending is so outlandish, even as it's given a rational (if not really plausible) explanation -- an illusion show. I'm interesting to see if they will continue to use this type of imagery.

As someone anticipated in the last episode thread by remarking about the apple, there's quite a few Christian elements present here. There isn't really a framework within the show to place them in yet though, so calling them symbolic would be premature.

So, in short form, if you're like WTF to the illusion show, perhaps think of it as the first half of visual metaphor and hope we get the second half later on.

wow, how unexpectedly random. I now wonder where this show is headed...looks like it took a plunge down in plausibility with this episode alone. There'd better be some kind of half reasonable explanation in the episodes to come, or my hopes for this show have crashed down along with this episode.

On a different note, I find Juiz's involvement interesting, as well as Takizawa's involvement in Careless Monday. I really do hope this show can somehow be salvaged....all that potential shouldn't have to go to waste...

Although the illusion wings/flying/lifting trick was a bit more outlandish than usual, we've already seen Juiz responsible for plenty of ridiculous things. (Ever consider exactly how feeding and then transporting 20,000 people would work?)

I enjoyed this episode. Shiratori seemed a bit more sympathetic of a character; if, as she says, she only kills "enemies of women," then it makes sense for her to leave Akira unharmed too.

Someone else mentioned the symbolism of the apple, which we see here again. I don't know if it means anything necessarily, but the scene with Shiratori's billowing black wings, the apple near the mostly nude Takizawa, and the innocent Saki standing nearby looked amazing. I'm still looking forward to more.

I wonder...was that whole 'this is actually a rapist' thing by the Johnny taker an illusion too? Or was that really the case...then I wonder what happened to the real Ohsugi. Lol when I saw the wings I was like wth?? I thought this series was really going crazy, but luckily it was explained. The magic trick seems a little too convenient though, and besides, a little bit extravagant if she's just escaping from one girl, basically...

The whole ending phone look makes no sense to me.

For one...It says that it is Selecao 11's list. But the money amounts match up to 9's. But it has the purchases of the accident on the highway and the purchase of the special effects. But it also has the purchase of the hotel. What the heck?

Also, according to the timestamps, apparently 5 hours took place between the accident on the highway and the special effects purchases. 5 freaking hours. I don't see how that could possibly work under any circumstances.

I am just really hoping this doesn't end up like paranoia agent's terrible ending.

Most likely Kuroha bought the whole hotel after Akira did, so she could go back to her room without anyone bothering her.

Overall it was good. The last few minutes were a good way to screw with the audience. I wish the series was longer and 11 episodes and a movie. I'm curious if the remaining Selecao will make an appearance.

But 5 hours?

She bought over the hotel at 1:05, meaning she was still quite far from the hotel when their cat-and-mouse game began. It was already 3:57 by the last purchase. I'm not sure about you but that seems pretty reasonable to me. Just to top it all off, Akira had 6, 738, 350, 544 yen after buying the hotel, while Kuroha had 6, 811, 719, 800 yen left from her illusion purchase, so it could never have been a mixup of their phone details.

Oh yeah, everyone freaks out when Miss Johnny-Taker pulls a crazy illusion, but no one even flinches at the idea of ordering missile attacks on a country in mere seconds that is covered up entirely by the media and from other countries. Overall, the idea is that these selecao are messiahs with the powers of a god, so I probably wouldn't think any magic trick is too outlandish. Although, I would have expected that trick to have cost more than that.

At least Miss Johnny-Taker turned out to be someone with her own ideals of justice and wasn't some deranged murderer with a fetish for chopped sausages. I wonder what did happen to Osagi, but I guess we will find out.

Lol that Johnny conversation was just plain stupid and WTF ending.

There is still a chance of the rapist being actually Oosugi, she could just have made an Illusion to hide his identity, don't forget he had the Eden mascot.

Let's clear this up a bit. I'll begin with the purchase list, ordered by time.

22.42 - Takizawa - Stop Kuroha (1.500)
23.00 - Kuroha - Track the bike (8.000)
23.05 - Kuroha - Cause track accident (400.000)
? - Takizawa - Navigation to hotel (40)
23.30 - Takizawa - Purchase the hotel (1.523.200.000)
1.05 - (Kuroha?) - Purchase the hotel (1.687.000.000)
3.57 - (Kuroha?) - Special Effects (28.000.000)

I think it was possible for5 hours to elapse: in the end, when she flies out of the window (probably actually being lifted by the helicopter outside), it's already morning, so there was time to buy the special effects, arrange them, cure Takizawa, maybe even swap Ohsugi with somebody else, then pull that nice trick.

What really puzzles me is the match of the balance in 11's mobile in the very last scene. It looks like the second purchase of the hotel and the purchase and setup of the special effects is on Takizawa's charge! When Kuroha uses her mobile in the lift, it looks like SHE purchases the hotel for the second time (for the money matches). But she did not call Juiz, and we could not see any text-only purchases by Noblesse mobiles so far.

In the end: unless the money on the top right of the mobile can change to something else other that the owner's balance, that last scene makes no sense. Otherwise, Takizawa bought the special effects, and the hotel two times.
Dunno, I'll see next week.

maybe kuroha used his phone when he was unconscious? i mean, the phone wasn't hung up (saki was still on the line) so she didnt need any special shit to dial juiz, right?

I don't think so, it's weird, after all the mobile was closed while the call went on, so maybe you need a fingerprint match anyway to make money movements. I suppose Takizawa could help Kuroha to escape that way just to confuse Saki and try to make her forget all that Seleçao thing.
I'm blind shooting anyway, I can't think of anything else. :P

And the weirdest thing is that is still a great anime even if the name ''Johnnie'' falls a lot, haha.

Wondering what will happen to Akira... What about Ohsugi? I really didn't get that part. It was Ohsugi, but she used that thingy to make them believe it was a rapist and finally flew off with him. Will they go after them or not?

I don't think the guy who flew off with her is Ohsugi, I think she is a rapist for real. She had all the time to swap Ohsugi with someone else, although it doesn't appear in Juiz's list. By any means, I think she has Ohsugi no more. Or should I say I hope she doesn't? :(

they could've made it far more interesting if they sticked to realistic things you can do with that much money.
killing ppl off, getting walked around the security at the airport, stopping ppl with the police. sure!
causing traffic accidents? ok but like with a sharpshooter shooting the tires but not in seconds out of nowhere! i mean wtf was that ending? flying away with magic tricks? come on....

Haha, I laughed at the line: 'Could it be that you never received love from a Johnny?' For a moment I was afraid that Takizawa was going to sleep with her, I think he really intended to do it, in order to beat her.

The ending was strange.. but definitely nicely animated. I can't believe it was all done by an illusion.. Only 4 more episodes +movie,.. wut? And now Saki knows that there's more to Takizawa, since she heard about the conversation between Kuroha and Akira.

And, that Eden of the East system is pretty cool, gotta say. It can detect any object or model, manufacturer etc. by just scanning a fuzzy photo..
