| Very good episode ^^ Love it. Lulu got some kind of madness in his eye, but... xD K, so let's get to the point of my post: - Rolo joined to "The Rebel Team of Crazy People" coz of Lulu call him "brother" - sounds like some kind of cultist wich always say: "We are loving you! You are awesome! We need you! Satan need you..." and else ^^ - C.C. ... Lot of C.C. ... I wanna more C.C. ^^ - Hmm... killing this no-balls eunuch from CR ^^ Beautifoul :) - I wanna now how Ohgi will doing with his... hmm... ex fiance? :D Sry for my english, it's still far away from good >< |

| Great episode! I felt it was the best so far, at least for four episodes. Rollo has an interesting past-he's got a pretty cool Geass as well-changing the target's perception of time instead of time itself-at least this makes more sense than the latter, at least as far as a Geass could go. I can't help but feel for him, though. He's been a desensitized killer, but once introduced to Lelouch, his identity becomes more than just defined by being a convenient human weapon, and just wants to be loved. Aww. But of course, Lelouch exploits that. Yay, Kaguya gets a speaking part again! I hope this means that she'll have more screentime! Gosh, Lelouch's manipulation of Rollo makes me like his character even more-I started to sense it was even before Lelouch goes into thought mode and declares ti so. I admit I do like anti-heroes like him-they interest and compel me. Some other people, not necessarily on this thread, have compared him to Light Yagami ( *sigh* It seems that one can't talk about Code Geass and Lelouch without Death Note and Light...despite the fact that their similarities are surface-level and are different in so many ways). Lelouch might be as intelligent, calculating, and an equal and worthy candidate of being the anime Machiavellian Prince poster child, but Lulu is probably more emotionally driven than Light could ever be. Rollo was in on this plan to edit his memories, and sent to infiltrate and replace Nunally, who is still missing-plus Rollo tried to kill him. Heck, I'd be beyond pissed, too if that would happen to me. :P And of course Lelouch is not the type to be explosive in his anger, so instead he's totally set on making Rollo his pawn and nothing else-he's done that before, but he does retain a feeling of guilt afterwards. He benefits both ways, comforting himself and putting forth further progress on the goals of the Black Knights. Li's been an interesting character so far, and I'm interested in seeing more of him. Eureka 7 moment was made of win, as was C.C.'s clumisness in handling guns. I'm totally looking forward to the next episode! Geass just gets better and better. Suzaku, it's back to school time! Hopefully, this Ashford episode should be as awesome as the last one, or I will facepalm. And finally, moar Gino and Anya! And on a side note, would anyone else think it would be a cool plot twist if Rollo was the one who killed Marianne? They presented us with his past as an assasin after all, so it could possibly be foreshadowing. Explains a reason why he was particularly chosen as well. Bigger plot twist if my speculation above is wrong and Lelouch does feel some sort of resentment in using Rollo, then finds out that Rollo's his mom's assassin. |

| I Just realized something. If Rolo is with Lulu now then that means Suzaku cant touch him at all even if he knows hes Zero haha. I almost wonder if Lulu had this calculated in his head as well. The next ep is gonna be crazy. I hope Suzaku loses and eye or something lol. |

| I have to say.. I actually yelled "You fucking idiot!" out aloud when Lulu jumped infront of the bullet to save Rolo - once again I thought his softness was going to be his downfall - but it looks like he's just manipulating Rolo after all.. Thank god. |

So Im going to rewatch this episode and start the next one. Thanks everyone it was amazing to read six pages of posting all about this episode. And I'd like to say a few words about Rolo. So I dont like him. He is a beast who killing even his teammates. So whats the difference between this two beasts? Lulu is killing because of his ideas of making new world for Japanese people and Rolo is making kills because of orders. Imho, Im on Lulus side when speaking about this. |

| Probably the best episode of R2 so far, the ingenious use of the Geass to set up that situation with Rollo dawned on me at the time it happened, but didn't occur to me before the shot was fired. One thing though, the flashback to the orders he gave seemed to be a bit off to the actuality of what the soldier did; the criteria were a bit skewed. |

| I have to say, Lelouch Lamperouge must be a sort of Napoleon Bonaparte. Getting a cold-blooded assassin to listen to him? Hah; what charm must he have! :D Someone get C.C. away from armaments. :P I absolutely love how Lelouch used the tactic he had once used during the previous Black Rebellion; it shows how he knows that the Britannians haven't learned from their past mistake. Which is rather embarrassing for them, considering they should be well-informed about things like this. In any case, I found it hilarious when Lelouch suddenly went, "Now they've crossed our territory; kill 'em!" Now *that* was an excellent move. I don't even care that he lied flat-out to Guilford about fighting one-on-one, since a prince like him should break his promises in case the necessity arises. (Thank you, Machiavelli.) It was really just genius. I like Tamaki immensely. At least you know whom he's loyal to! Rolo, Rolo. Hm, I'm not too sure about him; I really don't feel strongly for or against him. For now, he's just, well, there. It sucks for him that Lelouch will only be using him to get to Nunnally, but that's how it's supposed to go. I know I shouldn't compare, but I was screaming "Light Yagami!"in my head when Lelouch started sweet-talking Rolo and saying stuff about their being brothers and all that glitz. It sounded pretty unLelouch to me, but very much Light Yagami indeed. Ah, evil geniuses. They're both so awesome. Suzaku is going back to Ashford Academy. How curious. Even though I don't like him, I admit I look forward to how he and Lelouch would interact. Lelouch would make it very interesting, indeed, since he's playing the memory-less Lelouch Lamperouge. |

| Great ep.. But Suzaku looks like Hei when he lost Yin, or maybe Tomoya when he lost Nagisa, it's annoying me soo much, I loved Suzaku, but now I don't care much of him. Lelouch is SO mean! So what if he was Nunnally's replacement! He still wants to be your brother.. Lool I sound so stupid xD But this is just Lelouch's obsession w/ his sister. |
