Wow. The ending REALLY pissed me off for 15 minutes. Gah I hate Muroi so much. As for the whole anime really, I keep asking myself: "Why can't they just drink from the humans, but leave them alive?" Sunako is in my opinion a little crybaby that doesn't know shit about consequences. She still fears death, otherwise she wouldn't have cried in the burning temple and just take her death like a man. She deserved to die, just because of that. If she's afraid of death, then why does she kill, she could've just left her victims alive.. For that, she really should've died in my opinion. Muroi should've just left her there when she said she was ready to leave everything behind, but the coward didn't because he's a pussy. He didn't want to kill at any point in the anime, but the only person he did kill.. Just happened to be my favourite character. RIP Ookawa Tomio. Anyways, that aside.. Great anime. Awesome OST. Loved it til the last minute. Even though I hated the very last second, with Muroi driving away. The fact it left such a strong impact (disapproval/hate) must've meant it was a really good anime and I was really into it a lot. Marathon'd it in two days. |

Ookawa Tomio was a complete prick and deserves to die and now he's rotting in hell ......you should see him in the manga.......he is more monster then in the anime.....he actually enjoyed killing even humans. Go read the last chapter of the manga .......in fact go read the full manga there's lots of stuff they didn't put in the anime which is important for facts The monk got revenge on him for killing the people in the temple Sunako isn't evil she's just naive and doesn't know any better. Besides the humans deserved to lose everything |

So I'm guessing the anime did a really good job at not having a bias towards either side ... because from reading the forums fans are split between team human and team shiki fairly evenly XD personally, I like the fact that it had an open ending and didn't have a clear winner. Yes the majority of shiki died ... yay. But the monk and head shiki live on, which is enough to do some more damage. A spin off / second season would be awesome. |

I loved the ending cause some shikis managed to escape ( Been on their side since the humans became psychos) I want to know how Kaoru survived tho, they never showed it on ep 20.5, 21.5 ( or maybe i didnt see it?) and i also wished that natsuno was actually present on the climax but they didn't show him much except for the last episode =/ anyways epic anime, outstanding plot, and never it never got me bored. 10/10 ^^ |

Nice boat. Ok, more seriously, that whole ending was a hell of a bloodbath. No one was spared. They killed like crazy and didn't gave a fuck. Dayum, humanity is a shithole. At least, a few person survived. I can't say about their mental health though. Last time we saw Natsuno father, he had totally lost it. Same for Kaori. But the nurse that was kidnapped survived in the end, same for the girl that was eating onigiris with her hand full of blood :/ Muroi and Sunako also made it out alive. Same for the doctor. I don't if that's good news. Well, for some reason, I'm glad the giant crazy fuck didn't kill her in a brutal way, I think it would have been cuter if she died in the fire with Muroi by her side. I also think it would have been better if the doctor died in the fire, to absolve his sins and his responsability of this massacre. Anyway, it sure was an original way to threat the subject of vampire. I never would have guessed that it would turn into a bloodbath. I always though the shiki would stay unnoticed from the villagers and that it would be more of a brain fight. At the end, they were just killing off every characters x) |

Seishin and Sunako, I did not like them at all definitely not the monk. I don't think I have ever disliked a Characters as much as Muroi Seishin. I mean I get it he likes little girls or little boys its was priests do but the reason I disliked him so much is that he is a hypocrite. I mean he let his friends and family die to protect a girl that has probably lived over two lifetimes already (she does not need to live longer by killing people that won't get one full lifetime or even half). He was hiding in a secret room in the temple with the suitcase while his mom and other close relatives had to die protecting him. Yea I know villagers were stupid to kill innocents like that but since the junior monk was protecting the shiki so might his family might be doing the same thing at least for most people that is how people think and the monk should have known that. Right when the bad ass big beard dude went to hunt down the girl by himself. I knew the monk was going to kill him. There was no real surprise there for me. The Dr or Toshio really kept the show alive for me. Without him it would not have been much of an anime. Toshio had to do what he had to and that is to put the shiki in their place. Its too bad the other villagers didn't have the same mind set as he did until it was to late. Like Natsuno said " the shiki started it first" ps "A sequel ova would be nice" |

Wow and the young junior monk Seishin who said it was wrong to murder someone no matter how noble the cause has finally killed ookawa to save his dear Sunako.Such a hypocrite.Oh well.Even if Sunako and Seishin were to survive and they found another village where they could seclude everyone and turn them.It probably will turn out like this too.Still, what a DEPRESSING ending :( I need to go watch something happy now. |

I agree, Seishin is awful and at the point I wanted him to die. Sunako fully understood the magnitude of what she did especially, when in the church she was ready to give up living. They should've died right there, it would have been fitting-her for all the death she caused, and Seishin for now having murdered. Instead, they got away? Also, I wanted a bigger battle between Natsuno and Tatsumi. That ending was just bleak, and the whole village is gone now. It goes to show how in war nobody wins... |

From what i see is like this: the muslim killed too many people. they must all die. destroy islam. Same for the otherside. the american killed to many to people they must all die. that's the logic from what i see in the comments. seriously, you say muroi is such a hypocryte? sunako will die if he didn't stop that beardguy. beside from that point everyone is already crazy anyway. it's kill or be killed. for me nobody deserve what happen to them. they must be judge from the point of law. the problem is that shiki is too powerful. that's why i think that's why the human decide to murder them. kinda like he's too intelligent. were too dumb, he must die so nobody can be intelligent. |

Whelp this was a really awesome series, best Vampire Anime Ive ever seen. I don't really get all the hate for Megumi, I personally liked her character and found her death to be really sad. It was messed up how they just kept running her over, basically torturing the poor girl while she was crying her eyes out begging for her life. They should have just killed her quickly with a stake and been done with it. Natsuno's death was pretty badass and I'm glad he took that blue haired douchebag out with him. I hated that cocky bastard. But yeah my only real gripe with this episode was that Sunako lived. Seriously shes the one who started the whole thing and had more blood on her hands then anyone else. Her pathetic scared little girl act didn't make me feel bad for her at all. She SHOULD have died, but thanks to that moron Muroi shes free to go kill another village. Also Muroi taking epic beard man out was BS >_> 9/10 |

Natsuno also turned into a werewolf yet he protected two innocent children, while Muroi will kill to protect a mass murder who doesn't regret what she does! |

Well, they could've done this in the beginning. But seriously, Shiki's vampires are probably the weakest vampires I've ever seen. Nice to see Sunako is still alive, hopefully she can change and become a better shiki. Meh, it was a okay-ish series overall. 6/10 |

This anime I have to say I enjoyed but to an extent. The anime, towards the ending, took a surprising turn and became really disturbing for me. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy blood and gore but it wasn't necessarily the blod and gore that I disliked. I didn't like how they made human nature look so cruel and savage. I didn't want to see that side. But maybe I'm just a little sympathetic towards the vampires. The last couple of episodes made me kind of disappointed. Where was Yuuki all this time?! I wanted him to enter guns blazing with his newfound werewolf power! The people who made this anime just dismissed him and forgot that he was an important character. I didn't like how the only solution was to massacre all the vampires. The anime also portrayed the vampires as really weak. I wanted them to have strength and speed! I would have prefered a much more tragic ending. An ending where the vampires win. I wanted Yuuki along with Ozaki to come up with a plan that didn't involve the villagers and make them look lIke ruthless killers. I was expecting an ingenious plan from Ozaki but he came up with such a boring solution. The psychological aspect of the plot weren't up to my expectations. The plot towards the ending was too simple, boring, and predictable. This ending was probably one of the worst I've enjoyed if not the worst. I dont like being a critic and I usually look at both sides of the story but the ending just doesnt sit right with me. Even though I didnt like the ending, I really enjoyed the anime. Up until when Ozaki revealed the truth behind the deaths, the anime was very interesting. The horror and mystery made me hang from the edge of my chair waiting in anticipation for the next scene. Especially the scene where Yuuki wakes up and finds Megumi looking at him under the bed. |

Does any one agree with my opinion? I loved the shiki and i wanted them to win the village, but they nearly all of them died. i hate that natsuno, he is stupid. he killed his own kind ans killed himself and he gained nothing but destruction. But the ending was good, i was really happy that muori and sunako escaped safly. I wanted all the village to be shiki. i don't sympathise with humans of the village at all, the killed their own families(i know that their families was shikis but they were alive). The humans showed more agression than shikis and they got what they deserve. their town was destroyed and their lives are ruined. I am glad that muori killed that big old man and rescued sunako. That old man didnt only kill shiki he also killed humans like the people he killed in the temple. i don't know why many reviews hated sunako and wanted her to die. I really was so happy that she escaped. |

shizu_bara said: am I the only person who really hates Natsuno? o_O" ..... and am I the only one that wished the shiki had 'won' in the end o_O" I mean, from the way things went in the past couple of ep's I really didn't feel the human were any better than the shiki. In fact the humans seem FAR more blood trusty toward the end than the shiki ever did. But that's just my opinion..... 4 years later just finishing the show I totally agree with you. Natsuno didn't have one single good redeeming personality trait. Like I have no idea why people like him... The majority of people here are emotionless/thoughtless morons. No idea how you can cheer on the human's brutality... The shiki are totally the same as they were before...like the same people who died are conscious again...only now they're close to immortal and have a change in diet and sleep schedule (if you ask me this is largely an improvement)... sigh sigh no one thinks very hard on here it seems. |

oh my god I just finished it along with the specials and I am just SO PISSED OFF right now I'm going to rant Shape430 said: Also Muroi taking epic beard man out was BS >_> ^^^^^^^^^ Okay, I get that he's supposed to be an important character and all but ughhhhhhhh why him. And then we see him driving away with Sunako to become the new Tatsumi. I am so displeased with this I want to scream across the ocean at the top of my lungs. And the shit Seishin has said dumbfounded me. "When you became isolated from the world, you were excluded from God's jurisdiction at the same time. You're not even eligible to be accused of or punished for sins." THIS. This was probably the biggest WTF moment I had in this series. So he's basically saying that humans who can kill are murderers but shiki who can also kill aren't? Shiki who started killing humans aren't held responsible for their actions? Excuse the vulgar language, but up yours, Seishin. Frickin up yours. And yes, he is a hypocrite indeed. Instead of trying to become Sunako's "god", he should just admit he's a lolicon. Aside from me being pissed off at Seishin/Sunako the entire episode, I was disappointed in how sudden Natsuno's death was. I wanted a more dramatic scene ;v; I didn't think I'd end up liking him as a character so much by the end of it all. The series as a whole was a lot better than I thought it would be. I was actually just expecting some gore and jumpscares, but I got a lot more than that. The very last scene with the bus was... strange. It didn't leave any closure at all. Was it supposed to hold some kind of meaning, or was it just to show that some people decided to stay in Sotoba? Either way, I am really relieved Kaori and her brother are fine. I liked Kaori quite a bit, and I'm assuming Natsuno was the one who saved the little brother from the old guy? And brought Kaori to the city hospital? If I ignore how much this pissed me off, the ending felt like an appropriate conclusion- with the whole town burning up and all. |

What about the monk what about sunakos foster father.....they was humans and the Shiki didnt attack them....in fact they asked if they could have some from the monk........I wouldn't have to defend my self because I'd go to them and become there allie.....the shiki knew they would never be accepted by humans.....thanks to sunakos experience with her family who abandoned her when she turned.....If it wasn't for humans paranoia and fear and hatred for the unknown........like what happened with sunako then it wouldn't of happened.....Again sunako knew she and her family would never be accepted by the humans........here's proof Look what we do to each other..in real life we hate each other for our differences Skin colour Beliefs Ideals Origin And it's happened in other media Xmen Dance in the vampire bund 4400 Trigun Ragnorok the animation Elfen lied Ect All these had non humans in them and they was hated for what they was and they didn't do anything wrong......only because they wasn't human....... Do you honestly believe that if sunako just asked the humans if they could stay and told them what they are and what they need you'd think they'd let them stay...........no. It's human ignorance and paranoia that did this.....the shiki did what they did to live...just like us when we eat other animals...... When we eat a rare animal and there about to go extinct no one has a problem with it........but when a hungry tiger kills a few humans to feed it's self and its cubs....It's a international tragedy..........a animal might go extinct but who cares when we dont see this animal again....but when a human is killed....out of 7 billion people......It's a tragedy and they should be hunted........ Like the crocodile hunter.....he was killed by a sting ray and people went on a sting ray killing spree. The humans killed sting rays out of revenge just because it was defending its self. What about the humans who killed the temple people....without no evidence or even a look around they killed them What about the pipe episode the humans was bitten once and was killed by the humans The old man...killed by humans. What about the gruesome killings the humans did and was enjoying killing them. The pipe episode Migumis death Sunakos.torment in the manga The death though out the series The shiki feeds on humans but they don't need to kill them in order to live...It's only a cup on blood they need to live a night. The old man f*cking dares to preach???! You killed innocent humans just like the girl you are preaching to, dirty asshole got what he deserved! Good thing if the village simply burns down, who the hell would live there after that?? Megumi met a cruel death nevertheless, the doctor i just despise in the end. Did not feel he was doing it out of kindness or desire to help anyone, he just seemed cold and disturbing in the end. |

I wonder how many people will die since Muroi decided to save Sunako. Then again he might convince her to drink from blood bags only, who knows. |

Wow!!! I went into this anime thinking it was going to be nothing but a general vampire horror story....and what I got was one of the more thought provoking anime I've seen in a while. Amazing series. I'm giving it a 9/10 but it could easily be bumped up to a 10. |

Great Anime. Half of the time I didn't know which side to support. Both sides were fighting for one thing-Survival. |

Like some others on the forum, I have actually NEVER hated a character so much in my life. Ever. I let out the loudest groan ever when he saved Sunako. == Jesus. The humans killed out of hatred and vengeance and to get back the village.......but lost it.......serves them right. Sunako.might of wanted the villege for her shiki And you might say they invaded first but humans invade and kill other humans all the time....don't be a hypocrite. I don't understand why many people in this thread say that Sunako did all this only for survival. How does making more shikis qualify as feeding for survival? Any hope for coexistence was doomed when they started to produce more monsters. She and her few companions could safely feed on 1300 populace, dozens of shikis couldn't. |

Any hope for coexistence was doomed when they started to produce more monsters. She and her few companions could safely feed on 1300 populace, dozens of shikis couldn't. I can explain Sunako knew she wouldn't be accepted by humans.......think about it Let's just say sunako came to the village and said Who she and her family was What they was What they need And so on Can you say with a straight face that the villagers would just say yes to things that are closely related to vampires..... The people of the village was simple folk who wanted the village just the way they wanted it.... Look at migumi when she was human....they mocked her when she was human because of what she wore and how she acted Natsuno said that everyone was in the village was nosey and keeping tabs on everyone The villagers wasn't very nice people ether......look at the head monk in the manga he was threatened by the villagers to do his job as the head monk........the head monk hated it in the village. The monk and the doctor when they was kids said they wouldn't let the villagers control there lives but they both gave in to peer pressure and the monk tried to commit suicide in college because he had no control over his life.....the doctor gave in to peer pressure like a bitch an the monk decided to follow what he wanted to do and not let others control him.......he has my respect. Look at other media Xmen 4400 Spice and wolf Trigun Dance in the vampire bund......I recommend this Elfen lied Rognorok the animation All these had non humans in the who did nothing wrong but was hated by humans and treated like dirt. Can you honestly believe that all the humans wouldn't just say Of course you can stay Of course everyone is welcome Of course we will give you blood. Sunako knew she wouldn't be accepted by humans because of her experiences with her family...they abandoned her when she turned and sent maids to her every night to feed her and this happened for 20 years and then she decided to leave and look for her family for 50 years just looking for them and at this point they are dead and from this experience she knew she couldn't trust humans.......of course there would be only a few who would accept the shiki but can you honestly believe that all humans would accept her and her shiki family especially the villagers...who don't like anything to change and even mock a 16 year old because of what she wears........do you The reason why sunako made more shiki was because she wanted to make the village a shiki paradise where no humans would persecute her or her kind it would only be shiki advanced shiki and a few humans who accepted her kind like her foster father and the monk who was human at the time. A coexistence with something of the unknown is impossible with all humans..... And that's true about feeding on 1300 without turning or killing.......it would depend if they rise or die...And they don't need to kill them in order to get blood it takes 4 cups of blood to ether kill or turn them and a shiki only needs one cup a night.......BUT......I'D LIKE TO POINT OUT ON *TWO THINGS* 1 even if sunako and her family sneaked around the village to get human blood from one other person every other night ....how long til they get caught........ Some one could ether walk past and see someone going though a window and would think someone is braking in or that looks suspicion and would see its one of sunakos family. Or Someone could walk in a see someone else is there sucking on a person that is there loved ones and would know who it is. 2 even if sunakos family did this idea of not making anymore shiki and just sneaked around the villages to getting blood there's one thing youv missed.............they can't age they would look the same even if a 100 years went by....And that would cause a commotion ....think about it...... And the reason why they decided to live in the village was to make it theres so shiki wouldn't be prosecuted by humans and making the humans shiki would be a paradise for them....... Yes I know it was a childish idea but that's what sunako is...a child she stopped developing when she turned in to a shiki........even that blue haired shiki in the manga said to natsuno that her plan would never work and the reason why he went along with it was because he wanted to see what would happen. Humans eat animals and plants to live....It's the same for the shiki they feed on us to live. Get it |

Humans eat animals and plants to live....It's the same for the shiki they feed on us to live. Get it If we use natural world analogy, we mostly mean relationship between different species, in such a case it is fine for humans to fight for their survival. And shikis are not subject to human morals, which works both ways - nor can they be blamed, nor can they be pitied. But this analogy is not necessary the best way to describe the situation, because animals are not sentient and self-aware, while both humans and shikis are. Humans in the village were mostly fine nice people, before they were exploited by Sunako. You can't accuse them of being cruel, because they were driven to inhuman state by inhumanly cruel means. I mean, their loved ones died and then came back to kill - is there anything else so harmful? The works of the fiction you mentioned make use of topic of discrimination not only because it is indeed grounded in human history, but also because it allows for creation of romantically misunderstood characters. I can remember a few books, where new species are accepted. In any case, other fictional universes are irrelevant to the discussion if this one. And Sunako didn't try with these people. Moreover, the fact that they can't be accepted, because of objective and cultural reasons, does not mean, that they need to start murdering everyone, especially considering that they have a way to live without killing. And the problem with aging can be solved easily - they should simply move after some time. It seems that they have money for it. Btw, what they did was even more noticeable, than trying to feed quietly. Sunako may be tortured because of her past, but many people are. it doesn't give her right to harm innocents. And she is old enough already to understand what she is doing. Her physical age in the moment of turning has nothing to do with it. I can't believe that after all these years she was not able understand, what happens, when she makes "friends". She couldn't make a village of happy shikis. They wouldn't have enough blood, so the rampage and pain would have to continue. It is an easy thought. If she had any sort of plan, she should've understood it. And she was unhappy when she was turned, she is still unsure of her place in world - why does she want to make other people experience the same, if her wish is so pure an innocent? Not to mention, that for her selfish wish she kills a ton of uninvolved people (those who didn't rise). In short, she had a way to live without making others suffer, but she chose to break many lives instead, she is guilty. She might've wanted to try something new, but it was immoral right from the beginning and far exceeded means necessary for her mere survival. I have a strong suspicion that the fact that she is a gothic loli makes most people defend her. Moe = right, so people think. |

I have a strong suspicion that the fact that she is a gothic loli makes most people defend her. Moe = right, so people think. Humans are very very very stupid things let me ask you this Do you honestly believe if sunako went up to the humans and asked if they could stay and told them what they was and what the need so you honestly believe that the humans would let them stay........ Iv seen this sort of thing with xmen, 4400 and in real life asking the humans if they could stay is like ..... A black family asking a street full of redneck kkk members if they could stay....these people hate change and are very religious do you honestly believe that something that is ungodly would be welcomed to there village...they would hunt them even if they didn't do anything Ok ok since you know everything tell how they should of done it...cause 1 if they stayed in the villiege for years without people knowing what they are people would be shocked to see they haven't aged a day and would rise a commotion. 2 even if the shiki just went from person to person a night without killing them of taking too much blood .....remember it takes 4 bits to ether kill them or turn them but only if it's every night..they could jump from person to person and go to the same person the week after...........BUT...... HOW LONG do you think they could carry on doing that before they are caught by someone seeing what they are doing....they would be caught braking a entery and if someone opens the door while they are feeding then who's in trouble.......exactly.........creeping around all the time would also get tiring. 3 the shiki clearly can't just open up to the humans like I said earlier what would happen. 4 And they can't have a blood donation clink...that would bring too much attention. So come on you seem to know what your talking about........ You who believe that humans are pure good even when they killed humans and how they killed the shiki..........the hunt to me shows the true nature of the humans..... You have those who left the village because they didn't want to hunt those who might be there loved ones.....or kill anyone in general. The ones who took part in the hunt but wanted to stop hunting....touhrus father Those who hunted out of hatred and fear Those who hunted out of enjoyment Those who tormented the shiki Those who took part in the hunt but hated to be cruel...like in the specials. Again the series shows us the true nature of people....you could see a happy farmer but turns in to a psychopath later You could see a happy family man who lost his son to he shiki but refuses to hunt them. You get it now Answer my question from earlier. Also answer me this. If I was helping out my family who was turned in to shiki get out of the village...........What would YOU do to them and to me......... I know the answer but I want to hear it from you .....Well read it from you I guess you'll kill them and kill me too.....a human you'd be no better then those humans who killed the temple people. Well come on tell me. So let me get this straight you honestly believe that if sunako would just ask the villagers from the start your saying that all of the villagers would of welcomed her family.......... I highly doubt that very highly Sure there might be a few who might but with all the villagers....I highly doubt it very very much.... They wasn't very nice people Look at what they said about migumi when she was human Look in the manga when they threatened the head monk to do his job Keeping tabs on everyone nosing in other people business The liquor store guy beating his son his mother laughing at him They wasn't nice at all Again I doubt that the humans wouldn't let her or her family stay and would hunt them down even if she didn't do anything.......... Suanko might of had the idea of making the village there's but she didn't have no idea what the other members of her family was doing.....she might be the leader but she gave her family the go a head to do what ever I dont think she knew what the others was doing ....... Also there was this one shiki in the manga that was killing children and sunako didn't like that so she had him killed............It's true. She may be older but that doesn't mean she has developed......her plan was childish from the get go..il admit that ...in the manga the blue haired shiki told natsuno that sunakos wouldn't work anyways and he wanted to see what happens. Do you remember that one advanced shiki woman yoshi shes the reason why sunako made that plan she got sick of moving around all the time and suanko decided to find a place where they can call home. Humans invade countrys an lands all the time and kill humans all the time..... The Japanese invading china and killing natives The Germans trying to take over the world the Americans killing the natives Or the Australians killing the natives Or the Russians invading ukrain and starting a war People do this all the time If she had the control to make shiki instead of people dying then she would. I defend her because I understand what it's like not being accepted because of who and what you are I know exactly what humans are like when they come in contact with anyone who anything that isn't like them selfs. I mean only those with low IQ would side with the humans. Humans make others suffer all the time anyways........ P.S I hate humanity |

@AnimeFreak The fact that the risen have to kill in order to be 'born' as a Shiki itself is disastrous. You keep on saying humans are this and that, when humans are born we don't need to kill anyone in order to live, Shikis do. They got random humans and threw them in a cell for a newly risen Shiki to feed on. So lets say if there were 10 new Shikis who just came out of their grave, they have to kill 10 humans to survive, then they can go around either feeding without killing or they can simply kill more humans. What I do not understand is how you could side with something like this?! I'm not sure if you're simply trolling or not, but your argument doesn't make sense in terms of how you view Shikis as creatures who were 'forced' to do what they did. DeadOptimist answered your questions very well regarding surviving between humans and shiki too. The only part I'm not sure how to answer is what I would do if my family member became a Shiki. |

DeadOptimist answered your questions very well regarding surviving between humans and shiki too. The only part I'm not sure how to answer is what I would do if my family member became a Shiki. But that's where you wrong humans fight and kill all the time for survival ....... Wars Killing for the fun of it Hatred Beliefs Ect We kill animals to feed our selfs.......how would you like it if animals started killing us because we are killing them, using them in sport eating them ect. The humans chained the shiki down and let them burn in the sun.....they could of got one stake and killed them but they killed them just to enjoy seeing them suffer. I make sense you just don't want to admit what I wrote is true. I feel safer with the shiki then humans. I bet the only reason you replyed to me was because you saw me side with the shiki and didn't even read why I hate the humans 'Humans fight and kill all the time for survival' Have you killed anyone for your own survival? I assume you haven't, same goes with most people around the world. Human nature isn't to harm unlike Shikis. Regarding killing animals, some see it as a food source but we can still live on vegetables, nevertheless this would lead to a different argument. You are nitpicking humans, yes there were some you killed for the enjoyment, or so it seemed, but there were others who killed Shikis as they were dangerous. Wars aren't natural either, they are driven by propaganda and politics, similar to how the ishval civil war started. I wouldn't discuss beliefs since I too follow a religion, which will lead this discussion to something similar. And my first post regarding how Shikis are born, what would you say about that? What if your mother was dragged and thrown into a cell where a newly risen shiki would feed on her? |

What about what the humans did to the people at the temple both the anime and manga....they killed innocent people you going to let that slide And how they killed the shiki. Well come on tell me. Did you even read what I said? I mentioned that there were crazy and paranoid people, who killed with little reason. This doesn't mean humans are generally like this. I already said I'm not sure what I'll do if my own family member became a shiki, but I definitely won't kill them nor would I try to kill another human who is helping a Shiki. It's dependent on the situation, if my brother became a Shiki, and I knew what a shiki is, I'd be cautious of letting doctors know since he'll be used for experimental purposes. So if such a thing does occur we'll have to face it then. However this is fictional, yet your hatred for humans still doesn't justify why Shiki are killing innocents. Don't you see the insanity or psychopathy in Shikis when they are feeding off their first victim? The nurse saw how terrible it was to kill an innocent person so she let herself die 'naturally' by not feeding. THIS was the humane approach that the shiki lacked. Remember how Tatsumi didn't care about humans and just treated them like food, you side with people like this? Regarding the one bite then move to the next person, the anime showed how the shiki were fixated on the person they bit, unless it's clear they could bite and resist temptation of biting the same person twice, your argument would be a 50/50. We are speaking about the people in the anime not in real life, if you start comparing what I and other people would do if such and such happened, you'd get various answers. What you don't seem to understand is that the main reason the humans hunted Shiki were because they were hunted themselves. So there was a chance all of them could have died (as some don't rise). The way the shiki were killing was similar to assassination, just silently killing off people. Simply put, you cannot argue for Shikis since it doesn't make sense when you're a human yourself. You want to go on Sunako's side, do you even understand what she was doing? She was planning on making the village shikiland, but that would mean no more humans to suck blood right? Oh there's a whole city full of humans, why not just kill them all. If Shiki took over the world, killing every human, they wouldn't survive themselves since they need human blood. Yeah okay, take Sunako's side. Silly arguments are silly. |

So you would let doctors take your brother away and used like a science experiment just like what that doctor did to his wife...............you disgust me Answer me this is you can if sunako from the beginning asked the humans Who she was What she was What she needs Ect Ect Do you honestly believe that the humans would let her stay... Sunakos experiences with her parents leads her not to trust humans except for a few her foster father and the monk........it was her parents that did this...If they accepted her for what she was then this massacre wouldn't of happened...think about it. What about the humans they was worse then the shiki...the shiki feeds on us to stay alive like we feed on animals.. The humans kill out of fear, hatred and paranoia...Again do you honestly believe that if she asked from the beginning that the villagers would let her stay.....they was more psychopathic then the shiki...in fact they was more monster then the shiki. You forget that she doesn't value her life as much as others do that her problem....... And about tatsumi do you even think of the meat you eat every day.....No of course not to you it's just an animal that was ment to feed you..............point made........ It's your argument too that 50/50 but it still can happen. People in the real world do this to each other all the time.....like isis they kill people because they aren't Muslims....... This show shows us that humans can be more cruel then anything on earth......humans clam that they are superior to anything else in the universe The reason why I'm bring stuff from real life is because I'm trying to get you to understand that this sort of thing with humans happens all the time....not with vampires and shit like that I'm talking about what we do to our selfs We kill each other over What we look like Where we are from What we believe Ect People hate others that's different from them.....And again your not answering my questions If suanko from the beginning asked the humans if she could stay.....What do you think would happen......... The answers simple ....... Even if she came in peace and she told the villagers what she was and such the villagers would still be afraid of them and would of hunted them.... AGAIN ANSWER THE QUESTION and stop avoiding it. I might be human but so was sunakos foster father and the monk ....they was humans that willingly went to the shikis side.......What about them Her foster father came from family of snobs that was disgusting ...sunako drained them. She and her family want a place to call home a place where she and her kind wouldn't be prosecuted by humans and again her reasons for why she does it is justified she knew she and her family would never be accepted. I understand how it feels to be outcasted and looked down on I also have empathy so I can understand the shiki. THINK ABOUT IT SHE KNEW SHE WOULDN'T BE ACCEPTED BY HUMANS OF THE VILLAGE AND SHE AND HER FAMILY WANT A PLACE TO CALL HOME....SHE AND HER FAMILY GOT SICK OF MOVING AROUND ALL THE TIME AND AGAIN WANTED A PLACE TO CALL HOME. HER INTENTIONS WASN'T TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD........ IT WAS TO MAKE A HOME FOR SHIKI SO HER KIND WOULDN'T BE FEARED OR HATED OR ANYTHING.... WE HUMANS TAKE OVER LANDS ALL THE TIME. SUNAKO DIDN'T TAKE THIS IN TO CONSIDERATION.....THE BLUE HAIRED SHIKI EVEN SAID HER PLAN WOULDN'T WORK BECAUSE THERE CAN'T BE MORE OF THE HUNTER THEN THE HUNTED OTHER WISE THE WORLD WOULD OF ENDED.... BUT SUNAKOS PLAN WAS CHILDISH IL ADMIT THAT BUT THAT'S WHAT SHE IS....A UNDEVELOPED CHILD..... HAVE YOU EVEN READ THE MANGA Answer me this also Let me ask you something then If my your mother was a shiki what would you do....causes as we know they are the same as when they are humans.? What would you do If *I* a human was helping my shiki mother to escape and what would you do with me.? Do you honestly believe the humans would just say yes to suanko and her family to stay if she told them everything from the beginning about her self and what she is and what she needs.? I'll only answer some of your points since you seriously do not understand sometimes, plus you repeated the same things over and over, you're like on repeat bud. You're disgusted by me because you simply couldn't understand what I wrote, I advise you to read that sentence again. The final point that I would rebuke is when you are shifting the blame on her Sunako's parents, this point you made has no backbone. There are so many things to take in consideration, you need to bring the whole nature vs nurture debate since we do not know whether or not Sunako's brain stop developing, or if experience itself is enough for her maturity. Nevertheless, a person is responsible for his/her own actions, shifting the blame on the parents in nonsensical. I am sorry that in your past you have been outcasted, but that was a specific incident, it's like how we always see negative stories on news channels etc. And we make judgements on how bad everything is, you mentioned the ISIS crisis and how 'muslims' are responsible, even though muslims and non-muslims know what they're doing is wrong. Once again if we get on this debate we would be taking the discussion on another direction. I am not going to reply after this since I am sorting of expecting the same 'Come on, tell me' replies again. |

I only say the same things over and over because it's not sinking in to your thick skull because you clearly don't understand And no you answer all of them...give me a straightforward answer I read what you wrote and ..........oh yea sorry I miss reed it sorry my bad. Don't say I have no back bone because what I said is true if her parents didn't abandon her and accepted her as she is instead of being afraid if her....I don't believe in that a person is responsible for there actions........It's our influences, what we have been taught, what we believe in, our experiences Ect is the course of our actions............It's those things that makes us who we are and are what makes us do things and such......its because of those experiences is what makes us...... Like the villagers for example But here is the thing There was villiegers who did lose loved one but some of them didn't want to take part in the war and they was treated like cowards by the other villiegers......... What about the temple people that was killed by the villagers.....should they be killed because of what they did......the bearded bastard was killed out of revenge because he leads the way to the temple and has them killed ..........so should he take responsibility for his actions..like the villagers who killed the temple people who was innocent. And what about the way they killed the Shiki.....it was fucking brutal. Don't you dare pity me ........besides it wasn't one incident it was loads of times I didn't say muslims I only ment isis in general.....What do you think I am .....a racist...I hate racist....bastards don't deserve any mercy......racist I mean.....And isis. I'm trying to get you to understand but clearly you can't understand til you experienced it your self. Fuck this ending shittiest ending ever. Why did they make that little bitch Sunako survive ? She is the villian, the person who destroyed a harmless village and a fucking coward. She one of those villians who commit a massive genocide and then beg for their lives when their end comes near .The only reason people like her is because she is a little girl and give the reason that 'she needed the blood to survive/nobody would have accepted her'. Why should people accept her ? SHE EATS HUMANS FOR BREAKFAST. Totally dissatisfied. I wish that the car car they were travelling in would get destroyed in some final destination way resulting in the gruesome death of that Monk(ey) and that little shit. Also the epic beard man should have lived. He was the best character in the series. |

I liked this series a lot more than I thought I would... These last couple episodes were freaking insane and brutal... In all honesty, at this point I think I might have liked the Shiki better... I dunno. Very suspenseful and thought provoking series. 8/10 from me. |
