I've seen around 400 anime and I don't have much time to be devoting time to it. But again, not all of it was watched in the past 5 years at all. I've been watching since I got exposed to Pokemon, DBZ, Naruto, Code Geass, whatever years and years back. Maybe it reached watching heights a few years back but it has cooled down for around the last 2 or so years despite me watching tons of aired series a season.

"without taking the time to feel anything"
Wtf, how long do you take to feel? One second should be about enough.

I've been watching anime since I was 16 and I still love it. My list started growing really fast after I started following currently airing series as well as watching other already finished airing series. I'm not a robot and I enjoy the time I spend watching anime. I give mostly 7's because series I think are more boring I usually drop before I even add it to my list. I'm certainly not one who sits and watch anime 24/7 since I both have a social life, other hobbies and is a student at a university. Just because you've watched a lot of anime doesn't necessarily mean that it's a bad thing. In my opinion it just means that you've found a lot of series/movies/ova's that you like and if you didn't like it why bother watching anime in the first place?

Not too difficult really.
When people sit down to wacth something, how many people watch stuff out of habbit they're not really too interested in (across media) or waste hours per day sitting threw ad breaks- sticking to conventional TV clocks up so much time we'll never be aware of.
Then there's going out and listening to people witter on.
I wish I was a machien, then I could switch off.

Remember OVA's and these 3 and 5 minute shows count. I actually have a 10 second anime on my list.

Watching anime isn't a job. A horrible one in which you don't get paid and can only salvage a few brief moments of pleasure after you finish a horrendous series.

If you were to spend 2-3 hours each night only watching currently airing series p, you can easily get through 20+ series a season. That's easily 80+ anime a year, so it's not overly hard to rack up high numbers if you've watched for a few years.
Also while 150 series come out every year, over 100 hentai come out every year. Watch one hentai a day, or even one hentai episode a day, and that could be 100 - 365 series a year.

And none of those hentai are yuri hentai.

Thats actually surprisingly untrue, but anyway..

This misconception that high anime completion = watch anime all day is ridiculous.

Atleast severall dozen of my /watched days are from my childhood.

who said it was all at once? It just means your life is sorted out in a way that you can do what you want at a consistent rate. Not necessarily that you do it all at once, or constantly.

Yes, but it doesnt actually mean your life is good. Having unlimited free time is not actually as great as it sounds lol.

Who the flying fuck gave you the right to determine that people who like anime to be thoughtless, emotionless idiots? Also, if anime is not a "pure-enjoyment" medium, then what is it?
