| So his new outfit is a mixture of 4th's cloak and Jiraiya's need to carry the scroll. I hope Konohamaru is dead so he won't do the same with something from Naruto's outfit added... And as for dying... did anyone die as a result of Pein's move? Looks like no one did. I kinda feel cheated. Seems like Kakashi is though, as much as I didn't want him to be. Also, not one face was messed up on Mount Konoha-more? It's nice to see Naruto show up with flare, rollin' 5 toads deep and knocking out one Pein with one hit. Hopefully the rest of the fight won't be anticlimactic. This fight better be good to keep the pace. |
| I thought it was brilliant, I mean, everyone was totally getting destroyed.... "THEY NEED A HERO!" But I'm curious about a few things? Was Neji with Sakura when the blast hit or was it some random Hyuuga? Also, I wonder what happened to Kakashi? Is Naruto actually in Hermit mode? If so, where is his Kage bunshin (Or Bunshins, who knows he may need three or four)? To be honest, I loved the chapter, it had such a great feel to it and it was a long time coming, I can't wait for Naruto and the frogs to reveal that the messenger was killed! "What! but he was supposed to leave from the office??!!?" Realisation! "There is a traitor among us!" Also, I wonder who is dead. Possibilities are just endless and only a few people have been confirmed not dead. I mean, what about Shizune? |
| That was awesome! Finally a Naruto fight! I've been waiting for him to go up against Pein for a while. I wonder if Naruto will be coming to an end soon because this seems to be the climax that we've all been waiting for. |

They could think of extending it by making Sasuke create his own "conquer the world" plan or what Kabuto is doing while all of this happens and his plans... I actually prefer it to finish, I don't want to spend all my life following this series... |

Would you expect someone you know is on another side of city to kick you in the guts in 3.2.1?? Compare the distance between "bean" pain and Tsunade and distance between Tsunade and Naruto(notice how SMALL he looks in background?). Now from that we can safely say that Tsunade was seconds away from getting skewered to pieces by "fodder" Pain and in those few seconds Naruto managed to charge a rasengan, move through all that distance and kill off the "fodder" Pain. And Neither the Pain looking directly to the toads, nor the other 5 bodies out there noticed him doing that. |

| This chapter kicked @$$ and I'm finally starting to get Kishimoto's whole point for this arc. Sure this chapter was pure, classic DBZ build up and I'm sure at some point someone's gonna make the "oh sh*t! Power level 9000" comment, but its fun to watch anyway. Hopefully Naruto will really maintain this growth and not turn into a knucklehead moron mid-battle. Also, I've been waving the flag for Kakashi's survival, but it really does look like he's dead (G0D@m% #t!), or at the very least he's lost his Sharingan b/c he looks like sh*t on the side of the road.... |

I doubt we will actually see her old form. If anything even after she is assassinated by Danzo's troops, we won't get to see her face, AS for Sasuke going blind. Yes, either the way you said it, or, if he somehow gets EMS or something, Itachi's gift to Naruto will just screw the eyes over and he will still go blind. The point - to actually be redeemable he HAS to loose the sharingan, the stuff which strongly ties him to his bloodline. Story was set up so. The foolish "fodder-like" ninja with whom even dogs would refuse to play, through his pure will and determination ascended to the "genius" levels of greatness and recognition. Why? Because he held on to what he had at the moment and he knew how to value on what he has. He achieved what he did, because he was living for future. The Genius wunderkind thus looses all what made him so special, because he was unable to value what he had, refusing all the things around him as unneeded and clinging to the revenge, living for the past. Sasuke was living for the past. The only way for him to actually understand and learn to value things and people is for him to loose everything he had. A boy going from "Uchiha Genius Hero" to a blind ninja who lost everything what made him special and who is hated by entire village and people who valued him as friend in the past. |

No more clones or waiting time for Rasengan or FRS. In a sense, Rasengan did not even hit as much as the aura of energy around it came towards the target at such speed and force that it had, in itself was enough to shatter the body crumbled fodder Pain to bits. |

| best chapter in a while omg lol -Naruto he is at the next level - the pic for the first pages of 43 just screamed hokage -sakura is crazy inlove with him now -sasuke and naruto will be an epic battle even tho sasuke is failing alot he will put time into fighting the new naruto -dam those frogs were huge - cant wait 1 week ... : also i think i might miss the clones he should still use them and the rasengan man maybe he can pull off 2 Rasen Shuriken rasengans at once maybe its complete now.. who knows and a lil late Konohamaru can do a rasengan and shadow clones how cool |

| GREAT chapter. I was afraid for Konoha, because last week chapter was really sad. ;; But it's getting so good! It's gonna be an awesome battle. ^^ And Tsunade was finally acting like a real Hokage. :o I'm happy she didn't die. But like every week since chapter 423, I want to know what's goinn on with my Kakashi.. :< |

What I see is Pain coming up with a tactic and using bodies/body for that, while Naruto finds a way to counter it and One-Hit Kill the bodies. Yes Pain will device various tactics and strategies, but all that will do is make Naruto's One-Hit kill a bit harder, which, IMO is whole point. With all six bodies one hit killed in an epic ~7 chapter battle, Naruto will have had enough time to show off various techs, Nagato will finally take him seriously and Kishi will have finally completed set up for the future Nagato VS Naruto destined child fight |

That was surprisingly fast, and to think that maybe Naruto didn't make a clone now to make a rasengan, maybe he can do it now by just himself. That would also be a nice improve.
