By the way, whenever I watch a love comedy, I come across some eye candies that don't give the story line any effects. I don't welcome them at all but I can usually ignore them easily because that is not my business but the business those who are in charge of the sales department in the publisher should deal with. It's not that bad if it sells better consequently and I have a chance to see season 2. But, to be honest, I feel very annoyed when it makes the characters to act, say or feel something too typical and overused. Speaking of Chiho's exaggerated boobs, it's okay to me how they bounce or not. On the contrary, I do care Emi feels inferior about that. In other word, I don't like that kind of comic dialogue if they use too often. In my opinion, it should be a subtle spice. I know it is just a matter of taste and I'm not blaming those who love her huge boobs -- far from it! I like her having huge boobs, too. But I still love her if she doesn't. From a metafictional point of view, Chiho is the only witness belongs to our world, who got involved in the war and the political conflict among the various sects in Ente Isla. The opening and the ending movies imply she is, after all, an outsider. She was born on a happier and more peaceful world if not perfect. |

| I like both actually, but Emi wins my vote because she had more epic expressions. Okay, in truth : Emi was an all around solid character. She accepted that Maou was a good person quickly enough compared to Suzune. Chiho is good but she is not really my type of character that I would cheer for. A little too much of an airhead. |

Emi even supports her to hook them up, and you Chiho fans despise Emi even if "SHE TRIES TO HELP YOUR fav. character" with stupid arguments like "she is ruining Chiho's love" roflmao. You should hate and badmouth Maou for don't giving a damn about Chiho, she confessed he didn't even respond :) because he doesn't feel the same way (if he did he would respond), she tries to get him like her more (swimsuit scene) he also here doesn't gave a damn about it. And so on and on. For Emi it's the other way around cause he shows more interest in her, without her even trying to get his attention. | How is this even a poll? Idk who it will or won't be I haven't read the light novels or the manga, but from the feel of the anime seems that it should be Emi. Beginning and end with the same 'couple', Maou is oblivious to everything, yes, but perhaps oblivious to himself too. Chiho is too ordinary imo, didn't think there would be such a large backing for her. |

I suspect that Maou chooses to ignore Chiho's feelings because he doesn't want to lead her on or hurt her, not necessarily because he is oblivious. But in any case I still agree that it should be Emi, there is much more room for development there and I think it would be much more interesting seeing people who wanted to originally kill each other become love interests, that and the fact that I think Emi is a much better character than Chiho. |

| I'm sorry but I'm all for Chiho. I'm getting tired of an anime show always going with the main type girl always getting the guy. Chiho is human an it will be so much better to see that kind of pairing instead of the cliche pairing of a good guy falling for the bad guy. |
| In all honesty, I think "good guy fall for bad guy" and "human fall for [insert supernatural being]" are both pretty cliche. They're both common in many anime and manga, and having cliches aren't exactly a bad thing. As long as the story is good does it matter whether the pairings are cliche or not? |

If I could have a word about it then I would say something in lines: kind of stupid is falling for a guy whose you never met before and don't know nothing about him but decided to "make him fall for you" I thinks that's what she's after - this doesn't apply anymore after more time spent together like entire season 1, but she went for a confession already in ep 3 so it's stupid for me as they barely new one another. In this case it's Chiho falling in love in Maou and because he shows kindness she trusts him completely even if he had been putting an act. Yay go for a criminal. roflmao. Ok jokes aside. Well she choose to be hurt by choosing such a guy, she should already be hurt by him not responding to her confession - but no you just make it Hero's fault and make her a bitch because she also falls for the same guy, like this never happens in reality or other shows... You don't like tsunderes as I don't like bigbreasted loli - which looks awfull for me - at least genki trait is her good point. Girls such as Chiho would go with you to a bed because you want them to - I don't see a reason why she wouldn't do so after all it's her precious Maou-san. I am not saying by it that I love tsundere's - I don't. Many of them also annoys me, but in this case tsundere is the best option here with all her background and traits. I would go for Kuudere if Suzu had 1 or 2 more better traits. Also " Chiho loved him first." So what? Maou already is hers because she was the first one to fall for him? If it would be like that I would go for a top models or whatever and they would be mine because I LOVED THEM FIRST :3 Pathetic argument.
