| Emi ruining Chiho's confession moment was such an "ah! fuck you, audience" moment xD That aside, Chiho was really cute during this episode but now I wonder if she is manifesting some sort of powers. I mean, the timing between her emotional outburst and the following earthquake was rather precise if you ask me. |

| ¬_¬ another demon has been communicating with Chiho about the earthquakes. It's sonar from the other world targeting Sadao causing the earthquakes, essentially. Satan regained enough magic to temporarily retain is form and is using it to save lives. |

| Welp, the other Ente Isla demons have caught onto Emi and Maou in the human world, and they're definitely the cause of the earthquakes. But Emi can't always protect Maou and Ashiya's backside forever. A date with Chiho, that's pleasant to dress up the part. But the real reason is that the Ente Isla demons have also got Chiho in their grasp, and the girls just being jealous is just too good xD Both Emi and Maou got their powers back at the minimum, but this is Earth, and protection > intention to kill is real. This re-watch is proving more nostalgic. |
