So they finally did it! Yay!
Man that look when he dumped the water on her though.... i was actually legit afraid there.

Tbh I really didn't feel bad for Yozora when she got water dumped on her. If it had happened to Sena we all know she would be laughing. Anyway, I have to admit Yozora looks cute with short hair buuuuut I still prefer it long. The reunion was nice as well. One episode left.
Felt they could've handled the reveal a bit better, if cutting her hair is all it took it kinda makes everything else that happened before a bit pointless.

That ending was beautiful done, if a bit forced (it only took a haircut1).

After watching Nisekoi over the summer, I'm glad they're resolving the "who the girl from my past was" thing quickly rather than drawing it out. That was hard to sit through in that show. I like Yozora with short hair a lot too :D
Yozora shortened her hair. And both Maria and Kobato were arguing like always, wanting to be the better imouto to Kodaka. Both Kodaka and Yozora hung out together in their childhood days. And both Yozora and Sena are exactly like Kobato and Maria. Always fighting.
I'm not gonna lie, festival episodes have always held a soft-spot in my heart. I'm not really sure why but I've always loved the setting, making this an episode I actually somewhat enjoyed.
Sena looks really nice in a yukata. May her reign as best girl be long and prosperous.
Yozora still worst girl. The show wants me to feel emotional with that last scene but I felt absolutely nothing. She's a terrible human being and I refuse to feel sympathy toward her character until she learns how to treat others better.
Again, not a bad episode. Just one more to go until it's finally over.
This anime has been on my radar for years now and I finally got around to watching it. Absolutely loved the ending of this episode, cannot wait to see how things will turn out between Taka & Sora in the next episode! Also really glad that nobody interrupted their moment of reunion! I'm just so happy for the two of them :D
Seemed like everyone had so much fun at the festival. And of course Sena and Yozora get in each other's way once more to see who is better than the other.
What is really the most interesting about this episode is the fact that when Yozora cut her hair short: Yozora (or Sora) had properly greeted Kodaka after 10 years apart. Which is crazy considering that these two started the Neighbors Club together.
For as consistently excellent as the comedy in this anime is, the "serious drama" it sometimes briefly segues into is jarring. You'll have these very sudden moments of angst from the characters that would have you believe there's some lingering hangup that will be brought up soon, only for it to be immediately forgotten about by the next scene. I wonder if this "childhood friend realisation" will be a detail that finally gets followed up on, given its significance.
The short hair isn't the best. There are some short hairstyles that look fine on female characters, but Yozora's is messy and misaligned.
