LOL Darude xD

perhaps lulu rly is alive... like all u guys said he's got the code from charles

He couldn't have gotten the code from Charles, Charles had to have given up the code. He never did that.
Also, when you have immortality, the geass leaves the eyes, like it did when Charles got his and V.V didn't have either. And just like when C.C lost her geass upon getting immortality. The Geass was still in Lelouch's eyes after Charles died.
Also, the immortality mark on C.C's head was no longer there at the end of episode 25.

But notice that his geass got stronger and was no longer an "ordinary" geass. He has already acquired the TRUE power of the king.

CC lost the mark when she "lost" her memories.... it doesn't prove Lelouch is dead...

Ehm...I am saying that he is ALIVE.
CC did not lose her mark when she lost her memories, you can still see it.
The only time we saw it fading was when she was in the process of giving up the code.
Look at the episodes that follow, you still see the mark under her bangs.

Also, having the Geass grow stonger like that does not mean immortality.
Just like what happened to Mao. Lelouch did not gain immorality at that point.

Well it is a possibility that lelouch in terms stole Charles code for it is said once you have a mature geass you can become immortal. It might not have to be only from the one that you contracted with. Not to mention, you see like charles arm chopped off before he gets vaporized.

So my theory behind the Why does lelouch still have geass if hes immortal is that, in order to become immortal, you must first die. When you die, the Code activates and you lose your geass. This probably can be proven for after Charles took VV code, im sure he didnt give it up willingly, he had lelouch kill him. Thats when his code activated.

Back in CC time, the nun forced the Code upon CC. I beleive that she and CC died in the stuggle, note that the nun is totally F#&$ed up and CC is in a pool of blood. She probably died then, lost her geass, and became immortal. Lelouch most likely still has his for he hadnt died yet. Thats why he was still able to use it.

Geass does not become stronger and eventually becomes immortal, geass starts in one eye and then manifest to both eyes, becoming so powerfull that it becomes a "runaway geass" meaning it never turns off.

Her mark is till there, i swear to god some other dude was argueing that she lost it within the Several months later scene, claiming to have given it to lelouch. She is still immortal. In the end you cant see it cuz her bangs are covering it up and half the time the creators are too lazy to put it in.

When a code is taken i dont believe you die right away, you aquire the ability to die, after living for so long you die slowly such as VV did and the Nun lady. CC didnt lose her code cuz shed be dying/dead.

Yeah, some people should pay attention to this stuff seriously. Not being biased this is the conclusion, Lelouch does live, Immortal with the new name RR (R2), japanese cant say LL(lelouch Lamperouge) so its RR. Hes traveling the country with CC, he has fufilled her request, to be truly loved, and to put a smile on her face. He hides himself for he is the infamous evil emperor and cant be found to be alive.

Sorry Kalulu fans but CC owned you.

My take on all this.....

It's like I expected this kind of ending(not to the T or anything, I got the main part right), but that didn't make it any better for me seeing as Lulu is my favorite character in this series(those violet eyes make me melt). The final ride was a great one, and I would definitely put this series down as one I'd like to re-watch.

As for all you gripers out there:

1. If you all hated it so much, you should not have watched it this far.
2. If most of you would quit over-analyzing everything and tried to sit back and enjoy the ride that this show has given us for the past 50 episodes, I think you may have enjoyed it better. Part of enjoying a story in the fiction genre is being able to suspend a little rational belief. ~_^ No, not everything fit together perfectly, but not knowing what this series was gonna pull out next was half the fun, and the characters were developed Beautifully.

I guess CODE GEASS really couldn't end without Lelouch dying.
It was quite honourable, though if he never got the Geass in the first place he wouldn't have had to atone for his crimes or the world's.
-still hates C.C. for that-

God, everyone was really slow on catching on what Lelouch was really planning. Some still don't even get it. It makes me mad, but it wouldn't have worked otherwise.

A great ending (which I thought it was ) can't erase the faults of the show. Honestly, there were a lot of unnecessary episodes and plot twists. The sequel could've fit into a 13 episode package, but that would upset a lot of fans.
Honestly this season hit it's peak with

relaly? to me it was

cause all that part with charles was so unintersestin to me half the time

i am going to repeat this too. EPIC AWESOME WONDERFUL GREAT ending to CG R2. was really sad for lelouch but this is fitting. lelouch died as a hero to the people he loves and loves him in return. was crying when i watched it...few animes make me cry. CG R2 is one of those few. still worthyof a 10/10 from me

I don't think the season was bad, I just think it was dissappointing. I'm giving the show like a 7 or 8 overall because there were so many, what I like to call, "Mao" moments. Moments where the most inexplicable things happen without explaination to fill in an episode, just as that ridiculous character did for about 3 episodes in the first season. Corneilia being alive, Guiliford being Alive, Nunnaly being alive, Jeremiah's many incarnations, Jeremiah's geass canceller, That Knight of One guy having a Geass, the whole Nunnally opening her eyes and it being a big deal (I could have sworn she's had her eyes open before), and everyone and their mother dying and then coming back (literally). Enough happenend in this show to fill out 2 or 3 25 episode series if they just would have appropriately set up and explained things.

Oh My,Alot of arguments over this series. Gawd. Well anyway despite all those n00bs going out there "LOL TRAINWRECK. CODE GEASS SUCKS." They don't know what their missing. But srly, why watch if you hate it?^_^

Anyway! It ended pretty well! I mean come on people use your brains. It could of been worse! LOL I could of ended like deathnote that waisted like an ENTIRE GOOD 5 MINUTES off animation of pratically nothing at the end. And well. Atleast the world didn't end in Chaos. The ending was played out perfectly. I wish people would realize that,as I saw before while reading posts before mine. "LOL LOOKS LIKE THEY WROTE IT ON A FLY" and stuffz are seriously n00b comments. AND IT DIDN'T END IN A FUDGING CLIFFHANGER GOD.

I'm done. : > Shot me if you want I dun care.

*sings that song from Wizard of Oz, (ding dong the witch is dead)*

That's actually a good ending, somewhat predictable, but good. Even though I dislike Lelouch a lot, it's still a bit sad to see Nunnally crying while everyone's (including me) is cheering.

In a way, Lelouch did win, because he ended up creating a peaceful world for Nunnally (and Euphie), by bringing all the hate to himself, and eliminating that hate with himself, he unites the world (after sacrificing a lot of people of course... apparently one life is enough to atone for so many lives >_> ).. that reminds me of Gundam 00's ending.. with the world hating Celestial Being and then destroying it which ended up uniting the world....

As for Suzaku, did he get explosion surviving skills from Nunnally, Orange, Cornelia, Guilford etc or something? >_> I didn't think he'd die from just that blast, but still... Guess the only way that someone actually dies in this series is if they got shot by a gun (not to be mistaken by a gun turret XD) or stabbed through. Explosions and nuclear weapons, impact etc can be survived with minimal injury. This is especially useful for faking your own death.

Aww, love the shot of Arthur at Suzaku's "grave". btw, the words on his grave says "Here lies a consummate and invaluable Knight...". "consummate" can mean "extraordinary", which is probably what it means here. But it can also mean "fulfill sexually; as in 'consummate a marriage' " XD I found that hilarious

So basically "Suzaku the Knight of Zero" is dead, and he has to live as Zero. Though I wonder if Nunnally knows that's really Suzaku in there...

Lol, this is the second time the Black Knights were on the execution stand, and once again they didn't get their heads chopped off

What happened to Kannon? is he doomed to serve "Zero" like Schniz?

Nuuuu Xingke! >__< well, I kinda thought he'd die, since he's sick and all... but Tianzi looks pretty happy, so either she's over it, or he's just absent from this picture. (Nunnally isn't in the photo either) I love Cornelia's dress in this ^^ Who's that girl with the pink hair next to Rivalz? lol, is it Gino x Kallen possibility I see?

Orange-kun at the Orange farm at the end just made my day!! So he picked up Anya and they live together now? Kinda creepy if you think about it.... pedo...

He was the carriage driver for C.C at the end :). I'm guessing C.C's wish was to live her life like a normal person again or to have a b/f that could live as long as she could. Her power of immortality was probably passed to Lulu, thus her scene at the church and the comment "The power of Kings, known as Geass, brings solitude.
Not quite accurate, is it?
*moves head up a bit as if to talk to the person driving the carriage*
Right, Lelouch?"

As for the ending, I thought it was perfect. There could not have been a better way to end it. Sure I still wanted to see Suzaku die, but I think making him survive thinking he actually killed his best friend is probably more painful then anything else. To add salt to his wound he has to look at his best friend's sister every day which no doubt causes him to think about Lulu.

Hmm, is Lelouch really didn't die, then that means the Geass he cast are still effective (unless Orange-kun de-geassed them), which means that Suzaku's "live-on" Geass is still effective. So Suzaku can't die? what about when he gets old? will the geass let him die then?

Something i just noticed while watching the scene with suzaku stabbing Lelouch and when Lelouch touches zero's mask with his hand, his entire right hand is covered in blood, aka if there was a code symbol transferred from Charles it would have been masked by the blood so none would have seen it, and this is under the assumption that the code mark transfers to the same portion of the body as well, which the scene with the crazy nun and CC transfer support that it would. Just something interesting i noticed.

edited-
The more that i think about it, it must be that, why else would they take the time to show him covering his hand and blood and touching the mask, before anyone could see his palm.

Assuming that Lelouch is indeed the guy driving the cart (see link above and look at all the clues ), it was really a great ending. I was happy to see "Zero" once last time and make one final miracle. The legend of Zero will LIVE ON.

Although, I loved/hated the second part of R2 I'm very pleased with the way the anime ended, that is, giving us a happy ending--Lelouch creating the world that everyone wanted opting for a simple life with CC in the peaceful world he created and enjoying the simple pleasures of live with her (Cheese-kun included)

Good stuff, one of the best endings to a series I've seen in awhile. I admit, watching through the two series, I never really tried to figure out what was going to happen next, I just sat back and watched. Imho I believe that's the best way to watch any series. Turn off your brain and let it process along the way ;D

Everything seems much more enjoyable that way.
