Haha it's all good to be a fan and defend your team. Didn't mean to be offensive or anything. But you gotta face facts: Lebron isn't as good as MJ, or even Kobe, YET. Can he be better? That's up for time to decide.

I can fully agree with everything you said.

And I wasn't saying that. That'd be rude to the dozens of HoFers who retired without NBA rings who I think are better than Lebron

Hopefully Nash will get one before he retires, otherwise he'll be another HoFer without a ring. As much as I hate the Lakers and I don't want Dwight getting an instant win, I also respect Nash and really wish them luck because of it.

You wouldn't say that if Dwight were in Chicago.>.>

Nonsense, I was one of many people here against bringing Dwight to Chicago. This city is all work and no play, and Dwight lacks the kind of dedication and discipline that Thibodeau and the fans expect. I think he's a great star, but I don't want him on my team, especially if it means breaking up the guys which have done so much for us.

This has to be the most insane post i've read since whenever Alex last posted...

3x DPOY(should have bwwn 4 straight)
4× NBA rebounding champion
2× NBA blocks leader
4× NBA All-Defensive First Team

He's been top 1-5 in rebounds and blocks for almost 5 years. On top of that he's averaged 20ppg, and 10rpg 4 out of the last 5 years. It could also be argued that he should have won the MVP in the 2010-11 season. How you can say a guy that's done all of this lacks dedication and discipline is beyond me.

You put Dwight on the Bulls, they instantly become the favorites.

Gunblade, you obviously didn't get what I was trying to say. I'm not talking about how much of a beast he is on the floor, I'm talking about his approach to the game and his organization. He goofed off in Orlando half the time, constantly complained and uses the media as his outlet. I don't like players like him, I'd rather have the quiet and modest Deng-type, who does everything he can to help the team.

It's easy for Deng to be quiet, and modest. He doesn't get half the exposure that Howard does. The only time goofing off is a problem to me is when the player doesn't produce on the court. Dwight does that. He gives you everything he has, and doesn't quit on the court. Outside of maybe Tim Duncan, those type of superstars don't exist.

Derrick Rose and Kevin Durant are also two superstars that don't abuse the media, as well as Nash. Call me crazy, but I'd rather have them over Melo, BronBron, and Dwight anyday. The same story goes with Allen Iverson, the dude was a beast on the floor and had plenty of stats and awards to back him up, but never won a ring and was a total hassle to his team and the media.

Not really a fair comparison considering they've been in the league shorter than any of the so called drama queens.

But Nash is a great guy. :>

Quick question guys, I have been watching nba games via online illegal steams for a couple of years but this year I am thinking of getting the nba pass. First question: is it America only or can I still watch it in the uk? second does it include the playoffs or just regular season? and can I watch it on my android phone?

If you have to ask, you haven't been paying attention to anything going on for the last few years. Unless you consider his drama, complaining, and shit talking of coaches and other players acceptable behavior and appropriate use of media time, then I guess he deserves a gold star in that book.

I've been paying attention. Enough attention to know that you're wrong when you said it's been going on for a few years. The whole thing with Dwight didn't start until 2011. That's hardly a few years. Sh*t talking other players? What the balls are you talking about? And it's not as if he called a press conference every week to complain about something. You do realize that you can't rely on everything the media reports, right? This is the same media that reported that Dwight wouldn't be ready to play until Dec, or January.

Gonna miss the beard but I like the Rockets since the TMac days so I guess it's not too bad. Plus reading that AMA Darly Morey had on reddit a while back made me like em more too.

Do you guys think Harden can develop into that superstar the Rockets are looking for? Is he better than a sixth man?

He can start for alot of the teams in the NBA..... that doesnt exactly mean superstar though. Should be interesting to see him now that he's not with Durant and Westbrook to play off of.

If that's true the Rockets will be in deep luxury tax doo-doo without having a single superstar in 2 years. Doubtful they'd even be a playoff team.

I wonder if OKC told Harden he'd be traded if he declined the 53mil contract?

That's very true. The management over the years has sucked big time for all the Toronto-based franchises.

I only root for the Raptors because they are always the underdog. I can't stand to watch teams that are expected to be good. I'd rather watch someone weak like the Bobcats throw off the Lakers or something (although that might never happen LOL)

About the Harden trade, very good trade for both sides. Thunder don't need a guy who was thinking about stats during the Finals instead of thinking about getting a ring. Hopefully, the Rockets is a good change of scenery for him.

As for the Thunder and them getting Kevin Martin and Lamb, pretty good idea. They get a real off the ball swingman who they can rely on when Durant is sucking and a rookie in Lamb they might be able to develop into something good. But there is one thing that they lose with trading Harden is his playmaking ability. He's the only one who can handle the as decently as Westbrook when Maynor was out. Well, I guess Maynor is back but Harden was a proven thing with handling the ball. So if Eric Maynor works out properly for the Thunder then they don't lose out. For now though, they lack clutch time playmaking.

Stay healthy? With brittle Wade on the team, that's unlikely.

Even if Wade only plays half the season, that's more than good enough in a crappy Eastern Conference to get the #1 seed.

Besides, we don't need Wade in the regular season, we have the unanimous greatest basketball player on this planet on our team, I'm sure we'll manage :-)

The Heat couldn't get the top seed even when D.Rose was injured most of the season. :/ The East may still be meh compared to the West, but stop acting as if it's a cake walk.

Yeah, and the Bulls not only had the best record in the East, they had the best record in the NBA!

That was different, and Rose still played enough games for the Bulls to remain a powerhouse, now that he's most likely gone the whole year, they're going to see a big decline.

This won't be a 60 win team, not even close.

Gunbladewarrior said:

I'm not.

But you're also acting as if Wade is always injured.

He played every single game in the Playoffs last year, and of the 66 regular season games, he only missed 11.

That means that of the 89 games the Heat played last year Wade was there for 78 of them.

That's about 88%

The person YOU SHOULD worry about being healthy is Dwight!

Gunbladewarrior said:

As of RIGHT NOW, this very instant......the best basketball player on this planet is Lebron.

Rose missed nearly 30 games last season, and when he first got back he did more harm than good. If the Bulls take a step back it'll be due to losing their bench depth(Asik, Korver, Watson) along with Rose.

------

Yes, you are.

He is. Name a season he has played 80 games? And Wade played 49 games last year.

Why? With the exception of last year, Dwight has been one of the most durable players ever. Unlike Wade.

----

Because you say it as if everyone agrees with that. I know you don't like that, I know you can't stand that, but that's the way it is.
