Fearless (1993)- The one with Jeff Bridges not Jet Li. A great movie with one of the best ending scenes ever.

Last 3 movies I've rent:

Limitless: Brilliantly made and developed, with an original plot which makes the movie entertaining from start to finish. Altough not spectacular, it has some fresh ideas, good music, and an unimpressive but appropriate cast. The finale was very unsatisfying, though. (7/10)
Haywire: Spy + revenge flick, very poor in terms of story and engage. None of the characters is barely interesting or deep, especially the dreadful lead bitch, portrayed by a real-life fighter, who cannot act shit and is only capable of bringing some good action sequences. Overall, it is a bland, underdeveloped, forgettable, and absolutely useless movie. (6/10)
Wrecked: Distressed, slow, and rather frustrating "thriller" with Adrien Brody. Waste of a superb actor and potentially good story. Ultimately boring and pointless. (5/10)

For once, I agree with IMDB's ratings, incredibly.

mte. The premise was good. A 'what if' scenario I would want to happen or at curious of. But it grew more messed up towards the end.

The last movie I've seen:

Ringu. It's the first time I've braved watching this movie. However, I already saw the American version so that spoiled the experience for me. It wasn't as scary as I hoped thought it would be. So I'm giving it 7 tomatoes out of 10 tomatoes.

French Kiss: Typical but enjoyable romantic comedy. Appropriate cast. Fairly funny, not my favourite type of movie, but still a nice one. (7/10)
Far From Heaven: Decent, serious story about racism and bigotry in 50's America, with two good lead actors. Well-made, but not very compelling at all. Quite slow-paced and uneventful. (6/10)
P.S. I Love You: Too light-hearted to be considered a drama, and not amusing enough to be called comedy: the unfunny, girly humour was inappropriate for such a sad, tragic story, and the film did not have a solid identity. Very romantic plot, but not portrayed realistically, with a cheesy ending. Men and location were stunning, though. (6/10)

+ rewatched Clay Pigeons (8/10), House Of Wax (8/10), Tristan & Isolde (7/10), and Dot Kill (7/10).

Watched Eat Pray Love last week or so.
Stunning locations. A real shame that the story is about a disgustingly selfish woman who is never happy with anything despite the fact that she seems to have a wonderful life which includes several men who worship her like a Goddess for no apparent reason.

And watched Romeo + Juliet today.
It's actually a pretty decent movie. A great way to simplify Shakespeare. It may seem awkward at first but it's amazing that they kept the original dialogue.

Some asian movies:

New Dragon Gate Inn 8/10 - kung fu movie, most of it takes place in an inn so that makes the fighting interesting to watch, also loved the crazy/out of nowhere ending.

Fulltime Killer 6/10 - somewhat disappointing.

Linda Linda Linda 8/10 - your typical japanease slice of life, enjoyed it a lot.

Woman in the Dunes 8/10 - thought-provoking.

Hunger Games- 4.5/10

Real waste of 2 and a half hours. Very predictable, no epic or good fights, the actual arena and conditions were not deep at all, took over an hour before the games started, really no depth on characters. Also, the main characters had the best of luck. What was good was the depth in the strategy (the first hour of the movie) or the build-up. I also liked how it was all set up (such as the electronics).

Stardust: The cast is above average and the story is rather original. Not that bad for a fantasy movie, altough not particularly exciting or unforgettable. Some parts were enjoyable; at least it didn't make me sleep like Narnia. (6/10)
Nim's Island: Not awful, only very childish and corny. A colorful, happy kids flick, but still unimpressive. Gerard Butler ftw. (5/10)

+ rewatched Stranger Than Fiction (8/10), Reservoir Dogs (8/10), & Darkman (7/10).

Ted was brilliant!!!!!

The place promised in our early days - was pretty good but the build up to the main part of the film took way too long only to have a reasonably satisfying but cheesy ending.

Lockout: Messy, shallow and cheesy garbage filled with hyperactive action and repetitive sarcasm. Poor visual effects, bad acting, non-existent (copied) story. A complete waste which shouldn't have been created, it made me fall asleep continuously. (5/10)
Flesh For Frankenstein: Not nearly as hilarious as its spiritual successor "Blood For Dracula", only more hysteric and twisted. Wannabe-erotic horror trash, simply put. Udo Kier is always entertaining to watch, though. (4/10)
Lost Things: Typical amateurish, pseudo-horror crap you randomly catch on TV at night, only so bad it makes you scream "please kill me now". A total borefest which didn't make any sense. (3/10)

Premium Rush with Joseph Gordon-Levitt. No homo but love that guy.
When I saw 500 days of Summer I was like "wow this guy is good!"

Anyway Premium Rush was a okay movie I suppose. It's different where it kind of deals with like bicycle couriers and all that but wasn't something I was to crazy for. Had a few problems and some of the stuff just happened so suddenly you kind of didn't have time to absorb it and just go "wat." Otherwise it was a decent watch.
I'd probably give it a 7/10.
