| Part of me found his episode really frustrating. After that giant cliff hanger last season, it's a ballsy move to keep us confused by resetting the status quo of the series. This episode seemed more concerned with having big action set pieces and dramatically mirroring the Season 1 premiere than it did answering the questions it posed. If Lelouch is alive did he win against Suzaku? But then why doesn't he remember being Zero? Why is that one evil bitch who was dating Ohgi content to live her life as a guidance counselor chasing after Lelouch? And who is this little bastard that seems to have replaced Nunally hoping no one would notice? All these mysteries and you spent some of your precious twenty two minutes, showing some pig man drooling over Kallen in a bunny suit. I liked the premiere though. It wasn't what I wanted and certainly wasn't what I expected. But it was exciting, interesting and showed a lot of promise for the second series. Lelouch is already re awakened too, so I can't be too mad at the reset. I was worried he was going to have to figure out his Geass again. Maybe that it would even be a drawn out thing like the first time. But no instantaneously back on track. Also I'm hoping/assuming since they seemed to be trying to trap her with a task force, C.C.'s back story might get explained more this series and I'm excited for that. |

| Me watching this ep was like WTF during most of the time. On a side note, dat ED made me realize that CLAMP is not the one should be blamed for the character design, it's the studio. CLAMP's artwork is fabulous as always! |

| so this is the aftermath what happened back in S1. - Lelouch fails, but he manage to survive in the last duel. he get brainwashed. I think this is his father powers - Suzaku got his rank up to the direct control from emperor - Kallen made her way back safety, and tells everyone in Black Knight who lelou is, planning to bring back him - I don't know how C.C. survive after made herself dive into deep ocean with Orange kun. did orange kun also survive? - WHO THE FUCK IS ROLLO!? - Villeta appointed to watch over Lulu at school. |

| So, Lelouch lost his memory (somehow), Nunally is missing, Shirley got her memories for Lelouch back (probably), Ougi's waifu is a PE teacher (okay?) and apparently The Black Knights know who Zero is (Kallen probably told them). Oh, and there's also a little boy replacing Nunally (it's V.V, calling it). What the hell happened in that island? |

| What a start. Even though it got predictable as it played out like the very first ep it was entertaining as now Lelouch has amnesia. Kallen in a bunny outfit +1000 points. |

| A brilliant first episode epitomizing everything I watch Code Geass for. I was confused for most of the episode, but by the end, everything made sense. Villetta is now what, his gym teacher? It's obvious from the end of the episode's developments that she is likely just someone sent to spy on Lelouch. Same with Rolo, Lelouch's "brother." I don't think someone that significant could logically be introduced in a second season like this. He's probably also a Britannian spy. They just want to make sure Lelouch doesn't become Zero again, which obviously went wonderfully. Shirley has her memories back. I'm curious about how that happened. The Black Knights were crushed; all of them are detained. Lelouch is/was a bonafide Britannian, expressing great racism towards the Elevens, yet still interestingly enough harboring his disgust towards the empire. They should make an entire anime of Lelouch playing chess; I'd watch it. Skipping forward to the kiss, Lelouch regaining Geass was super badass and gave me a huge grin. Lelouch ordering them all to die was excellent. Suzaku rose pretty high in the rankings, huh? He directly listens to the Emperor himself now. That should make for some interesting developments. Watching episode two tonight, and I'm really excited to see where this goes! |

| i kind of love watching subsequent seasons of shows because it always feels like hey welcome back to this world let's reintroduce you to this world and all these characters you saw last time, and even though r1 wasn't my favourite thing ever, i still enjoyed this ep and coming back to this story. plus i have to know if zero succeeds, i am Invested (but i wish i didn't wait so long to watch r2 after finishing r1 because i don't remember exactly what happened..... but oh well, life) it's a brave choice to start the season with a time jump and lelouch having amnesia, and i have some questions (as always): - what happened at the end of r1????? - why is suzaku with the head honcho emperor king dad guy (forgotten his name but i remember he was a dick so idgaf)? is he still sucking up to britannia smh how dull - who on earth is rolo? where did he come from? if he is lelouch's brother how come he was never mentioned at all before? - and why was villetta at the school? is she there to watch lelouch? also cc is best girl x |

| What a mighty mystery. So many new pieces have shown themselves after a clear time-skip. I assume we'll be filled in on some of what we've missed next episode. I just wonder what Lelouch's first move will be. |

| finally got around to starting the second season of code geass, and needless to say.. i am very much confused but also excited at the same time xD i hope some of these questions get answered as i continue to watch. im excited to finish this anime.. also who is rollo and where did he come from- |

| Wow, tons of parallels to the 1st episode of season 1. The amnesia plot device is kinda cheap, but since Lulu's already remembered everything it's not really a big issue. So who else has forgotten their memories? Shirley? Maybe she just gave up thinking that Lelouch was Zero because the public believes that Zero is 'dead', and well... clearly Lelouch isn't. If Lulu truly does remember everything, I guess he needs to go find Nunanlly now? We still don't know what happened to her after crazy girl took her. Or maybe Rollo is the new replacement for her... I hope not, that would be terrible writing The OP was eh, the ED wasn't too bad, but if the drawings in the ED are any indication of what we're going to see in this season (probably just concept art), then this might get pretty good, because I saw some great looking designs in there. Also was that really Suzaku at the end talking to the Emperor? His eyes looked blue, but doesn't Suzaku have green eyes? |

| Well that was a weird first episode. Lelouch lost his memories and is living a quiet life. Shirley doesn't know about Zero/Lelouch anymore? And he got a brother now? xD Well, he's back tho. my reaction first 30 seconds of this show:  what a banger of an intro -- gave lelouch a fake bro, fbi chick cop is watching over him , monitoring him cool to see Kallen to loyal to the cause .. question once again .. why hasn't anyone shot Suzaku ?!?!? onto the next ep :) |
