it was a fabulous and amazing anime for me and i was sad that it ended i wanted a season 2 pf it they should have continued the story more i loved their characters and i connected to our guy chihiro he likes horror snd i like horror too

WORST ANIME EVER!

why in the hell did I put myself threw this ? 3 years of watching this show off an on and keep dropping it then one day ( lastnight ) I said F IT ! ILL FINISH IT ! and so I did... now I can get on with my life and have some enjoyment.

I checked to see if I was haf way done with this ep and smiled when I saw it had 5 mins left, i jumped out of the seat when it was over this pure hell. OVA? yea no way dude im done with this this MC was one bossy dude everyone one of his lines were so bossy like my god dude this MC is the type of guy who would F A DEAD BODY! NO KIDDING LOL

I haven't finished the show yet. I started hate-watching after episode 9 just to finish it. I know I'm going to have a lot of things to say.

For starters, we already have plotholes. Furuya said he found the book in a different shrine, and he essentially stole it. No one realized it was missing, but it was actually written by his grandfather somehow. Rea's father knows where the temple is, and is apparently waiting for a good time yo kidnap her. Rea spends inordinate amounts of time there completely alone. Rea's strength comes and goes and has no repercussions. She should be tearing her muscles and breaking her joints. Yet she can't break free from Furuya's insufferable friend, so that the plot can happen. Rea should freak out when Furuya is filming her; he's basically treating her the same way her dad did. Zombie Babu's eyes start out red, return to black, and later become red and yellow.

I cannot stand Furuya. He's been selfish, lazy, and inconsiderate at every turn so far. He doesn't bother to ask how Rea is doing or what happened to her. He left Ranko in a storm drain while it was raining, even though she could have easily died. He watches Rea on the cliffside, sees her argue with her father, loses interest when they start fighting to chase his cat, doesn't try to catch her when she falls, immediately revoked his promise to revive her, doesn't dress her wounds, treats her extremely coldly, leaves her alone in his room for hours to talk to Ranko, and only begins to show her attention when his porn brain activates. They finally went on a shopping date, and he couldn't be bothered to show her the least bit of attention. He's constantly whining and trying to get out of every task. He barely does his own chores, leaving them to his little sister.

It makes no sense why Ranko likes him. He showed absolutely no interest in doing anything she wanted or in her as a person. He flakes on her all the time and complains when she's around. I guess the smoking hot girl just can't resist ghe fake cat ears.

Furuya himself acknowledges his selfishness in trying to revive Babu. No one really calls him out on his misbehavior. Even when he says he'll take responsibility for Rea's condition, he doesn't really do anything himself. He mopes around, drags out cleaning and work shifts, and basically waits for someone else to give him the obvious answer. He should have asked for help immediately.

I really thought I would like this show until the ending of episode 3. I thought his obsession with zombies would come from his dead mom, and he would eventually try to return Rea to a human. I thought their would be an earnest, shy romance. So far it's just crap writing and a lot of complaining.

Edit 1:
On episode 12. I don't really have to change anything. We got a filler episode with 3 cute lolis and 2 lore dumps. The final fight was super lame. The father got rid of anyone who touched Rea or showed her affection, and yet the maids are willing to force her into cosplay (somehow while her arms and legs are shackled). Furuya headbuts the dad once, gets super smug, and then stands around until he gets stabbed through the protective suit. I know headbuts in real life hurt, but his nose wasn't even broken. Best part is the pedo dad is redeemed for some reason and just gives up. He literally wanted to impregnate her once she turned 15 like his dead wife, but whatever... He killed people and forced them to move, but whatever...

Why are the writers unable to keep shit straight? "How does you know about the naked photos?" You showed him your wank room 5 seconds ago. "I guess this is the zombie girl." You literally had a yuri scene with her and talked extensively afterwards. In the first episode, "Dad handles the cooking," but now Meru does everything.

I know protagonists are always dense about realizing who loves them, but come on, Furuya. Only comedy anime would be denser than this.

Edit 2:
Still a false ending, huh. They finally remembered the rain coat. But Rea can clearly be around in the heat all the time anyways. Still haven't addressed that grandpa and the dead mom are/were zombies. It was still stupid when Ranko threw that flower pot at his head at the most important part of his exposition, for no reason, after letting him talk for minutes.

Furuya can only do anything nice when someone else comes up with the idea. Ranko can't even list his good points, or she'd mention at least one. Rea has gotten more meek and timid with every episode. She literally hits on him in the beginning.

2/10. Really strong start destroyed by abysmal writing. Meru us cute but has no screen time. It feels like she's from a lower house or something, frankly. Ranko is best girl. It's stupid to call herself "Onee-san," though. Stop shooting yourself in the foot for this loser, and finding someone else. Anyone would be better.

Ranko will be another losing loving rival that's too good but will almost definitely lose. Still really glad Ranko said what she said to Rea so she has no regrets.

Rea will go back to school but then at the end there idk if she will? Now did Chihiro get turned into a half zombie again at the end there? or a full zombie now? i could see him turn himself into a zombie ngl to share her fortunes and misfortunes.
