An episode that stands out on all those seen so far, because the protagonist Ginko fails as usual to find the solution as in the previous cases and therefore it is a defeat for him. Beyond that there is the story of the girl who is of infinite sadness, because in her misfortune, she finds nothing but other misfortune, but also shows how strong and determined that girl is, wow!

Wow another amazing episode easily one of the best, i wonder why Ginko didn't killed that mushi and let it live, and btw i just remembered we still didn't see or heard anything about those mushi from the first episode that offered the sake to the grandma, hmm wonder if we will learn something about them later, off to the last episode of this season.

Ginko can't win them all unfortunately. I thought maybe she would reveal Ginko's past that he can't remember to him, but looks like she could only read memories.

That was freaky when her eyes started moving and then fell!

yikes, not really the good ending this time around. That last scene where her eyes started to fucking move about and fall out spooked the ever living SHIT outta me i swear, weird eye stuff is a no go for me lol.
Happy that we did get to listen to Ginko's thoughts about how he felt when he lost his memories and became the "Ginko" we all know and love today

One of the best episodes in the series also quite disturbing one. The eyeballs which were mushi are pretty mysterious things

One of my favourite episodes, close to the best one even. I feel like Amane losing only her sight was the best that could have happened, it was definitely a good ending for her (despite the bittersweet nature of it, but I guess it's better to have seen and lost than to never have seen at all) and the eyes scene was perfectly unnerving with the way they moved before falling out and getting crushed. The whole atmosphere/feeling during the episode was touching in a way.

That biwa at the ending was great as well.

Lately, Ginko doesn't give Mushi to his friend, the doctor one, I forgot his name.

I don't get why Ginko couldn't keep the Ganpaku in the containers and let him or other Mushi-shi study them.

Yeah, we need more background about Ginko

This episode reminds me of one of my childhood dreams which is to see the future, but I think it's scary to be able to see the future without being able to change it.

So in the end she can't see anything, again. But she felt "serenity" through her flaw.

Creepy but soothing episode. The ending song is so lovely, peaceful and yet has a plaintive tragedy to it. Just like this episode.

Final destination mushi?

Although this episode was all about sight, I could've been a bit more prepared for the eyeball scene lol. That was grotesque.

I'm glad that Ginko was able to capture and bury the mushi just as the woman asked, but I wonder what will happen to the fox that houses the mushi now.

losing your sight sounds frightening, but suddenly gaining it after not being able to see your whole life sounds just as overwhelming. it must so difficult to learn how to comprehend the world with an extra sense you've never experienced

The girls who saw too much. It was sure a relief to become blind again.

Poor fox, though. :(

Very interesting episode. Definitely one of my favorites.

This is a classic tale of "be careful what you wish for," and it was truly terrifying. When her eyes crawled out of her head - WTF!!!!!

What a God tier episode dripping with themes and ideas. Would it be better to know everything in advance or to be free, not knowing what will happen next. I also like how knowing the future or what comes next and planning for it kinda felt like control, until a point where perfect information leads to no control, nor freedom.

Several months ago, I predicted / anticipated the end of a really close friends groups who became my family in a country far away from my "home". This ending of friendships started from seeds of doubt planted by one person who did not really care for the group. I didn't know the exact outcome at the time, but the worst case scenario in my mind came true, as one by one friends distanced themselves from me and the group in general. Through my own mental health struggles and withdrawal from 3 pills, I was hyper anxious and overthinking constantly, and it was extremely painful to experience losing multiple people I loved more than life itself - but turns out, I was right. Now that the group's unity is all-time low and people have left, I don't feel the anxiety of a future set in stone. I don't know what happens next, but a major chapter of my life is over, and I can now move on in the unknown, free to take my next journey in life.

This episode was S-Tier for me.
"...our faces marked by toil, by deceptions, by success, by love; our weary eyes looking still, looking always, looking anxiously for something out of life, that while it is expected is already gone – has passed unseen, in a sigh, in a flash – together with the youth, with the strength, with the romance of illusions.” - Joseph Conrad ('Youth')

Enjoyed this one quite a bit.. the vision of herself without eyes reaching for her falling eyeballs was scary, I found it quite interesting when it was revealed what actually happened.
