| So cruel, leaving the anime in the middle of the story without a conclusion until April... I wish the two seasons were consecutive... sigh, a lesson of patience it is. On a side note... the ED's really nice for Fate/Zero. |

| Rider is definitely stealing the show so far. My love for Rin is slowly starting to go away because of Riders awesomeness. I have a feeling Rider will get even better in the second half, but we'll see. Maybe Gil and Berserker will start having their spotlight. Anyways I guess I'll replay the FSN VN and rewatch Fate/Zero until the second half comes out. |

He even reassures her that all ways of kings are equal and truth while she glares at him. What angered him was her wish to redo history, change the past and step on all the efforts of her followers, along with her SUFFERING and zero kingly pride (outside her current posturing) or she wouldn't have tried to erase her reign. She is inherently broken as person which makes her tragic and interesting. She needed a wake up call from it. If he met post Fate route Saber, who has the same ideals but without the regrets or the retarded wish, he would embrace her as fellow king, because she man up and acted like a ruler. They even have similar dreams (both of them care about the people and have some distant utopia longing: Avalon/Oceanus), even if they used different methods to try to achieve them (Saber by giving up her humanity and Rider by embracing it at his fullest). wishbook said: may I know how'd you get that translated stats? | Without the second season, I can't see this as the masterpiece people are making it out to be. This season was good, sure, but by itself I found the characters plenty but lacking. Amazing fight scenes aren't everything, but the way they needlessly convolute simple dialogue isn't great either. I would have prefer to rate these two seasons as one, but for this season, 8/10. |

| I couldn't get warm with the show except for the great music and some well written dialogues. Some people thought, this might be because of my lack of knowledge of the universe. If someone agrees and would like to make suggestion on a better way than Fate/Zero to get into it, I'd be grateful. |

I think you can only fully appreciate it after you play Fate and Heaven's Feel arcs in the Visual novel. |

The text on Berserker's stat sheet are neither made up of katakana or characters in the English Alphabet; it's random gibberish. Remember back in episode 5 when Waver couldn't read Berserker's stats? I'd personally recomend that you try out Kara no Kyoukai. It takes place in the same world, has the same musical composer, was directed by the same studio, goes into the world of magecraft, and mentions a few of the same locations and concepts that Fate/Zero brought up, such as the Clock Tower that Waver studied at. A lot of people would also recommend that you play through the Fate Stay Night visual novel, though I'd disagree with doing this until you finish Fate/Zero. But that's a topic in itself. | @ LunarMoon: I was actually referring to the 2nd page of stats on Berserker. But then after taking a careful look, I realized they weren't Japanese words at all lol. But yes, I actually already remembered about the part where Waver said he couldn't read his stats. Thanks though. |

| at the moment it's like we are half way in Steins Gate as well. Sure the first half is fun and interesting, but the real deal are not here yet. It was a good cliff hanger, but it's still too soon to call it 10/10. |

But looking at the final episode preview we will see Gilgamesh and Berserker!!! and btw!!! they are fighting in the sea so we expect them to have something since they will drown if they walk on it! Saber = no problem she can walk through it! Rider = Chariot with no roads needed! Caster = well..... Assasin = Dead Lancer = No idea... Berserker and Gilgamesh on water? no... : actually some bits showed on the preview! the 2x fighter jets and gilgamesh sitting on something gold. |

| And so the first half of Fate/zero ends in a grand cliffhanger. The episode felt kind of underwhelming, though. No major twists like betrayals and such. Lack of fighting action isn't much of a problem for me, but Caster living that long is. It's unbelievable given the reward for their defeat that Caster, who isn't known to be a particularly strong Servant, or Ryuunosuke, who practically knows nothing about being a Magus or a Master has lived for that long. It can't be helped, I guess, since this is just an adaptation and in no way a problem specific to the anime. So far, no master has died (one permanently crippled), and only Assassin has been defeated by the end of the first half. Nevertheless, everything still to come looks good from here, as we can likely expect things to really pick up once it resumes. The roller coaster has just finished its long, slow ascent. Looks like it'll be time to bring down the hammer on Caster and his master come the continuation. The only problem now is, it's going to be a very long wait. |

You have to remember that this part was never planned as any kind of climax or Season finale, it's just 63 pages into Volume 3 of the Novel. I think they did well enough to even make it look like a planned cliffhanger at all. |
