| Killing Zoe: It's the third time I try to watch this. Such a bad, tedious, pointless movie, you just have to stop watching it at one point. (4/10) Timecop: The usual action flick with Van Damme. The sci-fi plot was nice though. (6/10) Dr. Strangelove, Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb: Long title for this Kubrick comedy war movie. Watched half of it. (6/10) London: Drama about drugs, love, sex, and more drugs. Amazing music. Nice cast. Stupid and tedious dialogues. Main setting: a bathroom. (6/10) The Life Of David Gale: Story of a man's fate, death penalty, rape, and general misfortune. Somewhat good. Kevin Spacey's awesome as usual. (7/10) Thelma And Louise: Nice, punchy, and sort of memorable on the road movie. A good story about women, friendship, love, and choices. Nice cast and humour, but I didn't like the end at all. (7/10) + rewatched Psycho (8/10) and X-Men Origins - Wolverine (8/10). |

| Immortals It was audiovisual treat with poor plot and really unfaithful take of Greece mythology. Still, I was entertained all the way through and the battle scenes were great. I guess I'm gonna se The Thing next but I am very skeptical about it. Carpenter's 1982 movie is one of the best horror movies in history. |

| Avalon: Yet another one of Mamoru Oshii's self-indulging sci-fi fantasies. Not as sleep-inducing as The Sky Crawlers, but still far from being exciting. Beautiful visuals and music, interesting concept, poor story, pacing and execution. Doesn't make much sense overall. (6/10) Half Light: A woman's dramatic life, with some romance, mystery and supernatural. A little slow and boring, but watchable. Not too bad. (6/10) Domestic Disturbance: Decent but forgettable thriller. Vince Vaughn was great as the bad guy. (6/10) Unforgettable: Nice but rather unimpressive psychological thriller with Ray Liotta. I liked the plot. (6/10) The Getaway: Above average action crime flick. Entertaining, gritty, and fun. Michael Madsen's character was a total boss. (7/10) Black Snake Moan: Raw, dirty, sexy Lousiana tale about a dysfunctional girl and the underdogs around her. Both funny and deep. Blues music ftw. Cristina Ricci's fantastic. Samuel L Jackson sings better than how he acts. Too bad that Michael Raymond James didn't have much screentime. (7/10) The Brave One: Pretty good movie about the merciless, needed revenge of a woman. Jodie Foster's acting is always remarkable. (7/10) King Kong: Despite my lack of love for the story, this was a pretty good and solid kolossal. Super long, but well-made and enjoyable, with unexpected brutal scenes. Having Adrien Brody, Naomi Watts, and Jack Black all crammed in one movie was a delight. (8/10) |
