| That was the best confession I've ever seen in an anime. My heart was pounding. A truly beautiful scene. Just beautiful. I've never once felt a compulsion strong enough about an episode for any anime to make a post but this one broke down all of my shy apprehensions about doing that. If nothing else, even if it's just the smallest of gestures, then there it is. Beautiful. |

| This season we've been slung around in a whirlwind of one misunderstanding after another. I thought I was going to have to wait till the final episode for them to confess - and I also worried that Sawako would never gain the courage to tell him how she feels. BUT JOY OF MOTHER FRICKEN JOYS! Best episode of BOTH SEASONS YET! I cried. I CRIED. So good. Man. I actually got nervous too. What a crazy jumble of emotions. WOOOOOOOO |

There was no reason a confession/kiss could not have happened at the end of the first season. If it had, KnT would have arguably been the best anime I had ever seen. Instead, it continues on like this, and the more it continues, the more out of reach for such a position it gets. I still adore KnT, but it is beyond frustrating to see what it has become. There can be no truer truth in this world than what your friend said! It's one of those phrases that manage to sum up what you think, but that you never realized you thought that way until you read it. I couldn't help but despair internally at how low this show has sunk when it decided to resort to the cliched random interrupt that basically Every Other Romance Anime® utilizes. Kimi Ni Todoke wasn't like Every Other Romance Anime®. |
