| This is the point in the manga where I really felt that Oda had jumped the shark. Given how incredibly over-powered Shanks is - why hasn't he already defeated all opposition and just crowned himself King of the World. He can see multiple seconds into the future, travel at light speed, and hit with the force of a thermonuclear weapon. Which brings up the question - how did Black Beard hurt him in their (off screen) fight? Yeah, everyone "loves" Shanks, but why did Oda decide to give him here-to-fore unrevealed more-than-Godlike powers at this late stage? |

| Ayo this episode was amazing! Kidd got wrecked so bad that I started feeling sorry for him. Shanks's future sight is too OP, How will Luffy fight him, Hard to imagine. No mercy for anyone who attacks them. His happy ho luck attitude is totally opposite of his pirate values. Toei delivering peak with the animation! |

| It's about time we saw the moment when Captain Eustass Kid got his new brand name Useless Mid. Hahaha The animation was awesome though the pacing was really slow. This was 10 times more epic in the manga. |

| @TehWhiteTiger So true, that's why it's worth watching OnePace versions for that. You get the same vibes. For instance, the K.O of Luffy's Kong attack against Doflamingo in the OnePace version has the same impact and feeling. It's a must-watch for rewatching if you are only interested in a version that stays loyal to the manga. |

Killer knew they couldn't handle Shanks. It's like Kid forgot Kaido and Big Mom damn near killed him and Law was there.
