I've just finished the series and I enjoyed every second of this masterpiece!
Have you seen it yet? What do you think of the ending?
What's your favorite character and moment?

So dark,beautiful,emotional,pure art!
I love the music and the voice acting,fantastic!
The action is awesome!

I also just finished the second season yesterday. It was awesome. But I felt little bad for Alucard. He also deserves a partner, maybe in the third season.
Alucard is too handsome and sexy.

At first they made the viewer think its a happy ending but made a twist in the end.
It was such a sad ending....I cried....Alucard is such a tragic character he lost his mother,but had to,himself kill his own father! Very tragic!
I love how they made him have the looks of his mother with the blonde hair and face.

I think it's interesting what was said in the show.Alucard is somewhat a teenager because he appears older but he is actually a teenager in heart! Do you remember when they said something in this sense?
I absolutely love him and hope they make Season 3 even more interesting for Alucards character!

Yes, I remember. Thanks for a lovely photo of Alucard. He looks super duper handsome when he smiles, esp his eyes. I am eagerly waiting for season 3.

In my opinion, this show blew me away. 10/10 for me.
Loved the story, ost, atmosphere, characters, action sequences, art, etc. I have heard some people complaining about the animation but I am not an animation nut. I usually focus on the story, worldbuilding, characters and ost. Unless the animation is too hideous like in Tokyo ghoul re, Black cat, NGE's last episodes, etc, I don't really notice the flaws in animation too much. Besides, the fight sequences flew very smoothly imo and I like the fights better than most anime actually.

As for characters, Dracula was a great villain. I understood from where he was coming from and felt sad when he died. He was badass overall. His underlings like Isaac, Carmilla, Hector, Godbbrand, all were interesting or at the very least entertaining.

The main trio- Trevor, Sypha and Alucard, had such good chemistry with each other.

Trevor's character arc about him gradually forgiving the people of Wallachia for screwing over his family and coming to embrace his family's duties of protecting the people and oppose Dracula/vampires which he abandoned previously.

Alucard's character arc about him coping with the burden and responsibility to stop/kill his own father and protect his mother's pacifist wishes and him having to go through with all that.

And finally Sypha! Motherfucking SYPHA! Take notes feminists, this is how u create a strong female character. She was badass, funny, helped Trevor find a new path for his life and regain his empathy to protect the people of Wallachia. She wasn't a damsel in distress, didn't drag down his male teammates and actually got in more kills than both of them. She also had realistic flaws as a person like when she was putting her trust on Alucard too easily coz she genuinely believed in the authenticity of those legendary tales and was also bitchy and ungrateful at times.

I know everyone might not like this show as much as I did. Some may feel offended about the religious themes but hey, shit like that actually happened in history.

So tell me what u thought of this show.

Jee! I dunno from where to start. I love everything about the Netflix Castlevania. I want a 3rd season, but I guess the show ends at here and that's it. I love its dialogue and animation.
