The center section felt like a lull to me. I somehow knew Kusanagi would defend her. The thing with Hinoto was weird & unexpected. |

| Well, this development took me by surprise. What happened with Hinoto is pretty similar to the manga, but everything else got me holding my chair. Quite interesting, I must say. It differs from the manga but it's interesting. Only 2 episodes to go and I got no idea what's gonna happen. |

| A lot happened in this episode. The first thing; I didn't expect them to reveal the Hinoto betrayal and then resolve it within the same few minutes. That seemed like a waste of the foreshadowing all those episodes ago. I feel like the biggest surprise though was Arashi showing up. In lieu of what I expected to be her death, it seems like she may have switched sides. Granted, she did kill Kusanagi but that could be because he betrayed the Dragons of Earth and not because he necessarily was a Dragon of Earth. |
