| This was lame, they made Welkin and his squad look like the complete opposite of the first season. Welkin would never miss something like the fog. The 244th won clearly because of some ass pulls. |

| The OVA itself was great, but I won't accept that those Nameless guys owned Welkin like that. On the other hand, I would like to see this in a full series at least. The animation was great and I want to see more Valkyrian fight between Selveria, Alicia and Riela~ |

| I thought this OVA was very good. Sure I was sad that Welkin became a total noob, but the 422nd people were really cool and by people, I meant Okazaki Tomoya. Makes me bummed out that the game will never come. |

| Ngl, the war scenes really put a lot of anime battles to shame. Maybe it's cause I was watching it with earphones, but the sound of the gunshots and mortars are really well-done. It's like I was watching something from Tae Guk Gi or Private Ryan. The war choreography is also pretty cool. The story itself is rushed, but at least this OVA is never boring to watch. A decent companion piece to Valkyria Chronicles 3. 7/10 |

| As some people have said, the nerf to the 7th squad was meh, not a fan of 7th squad getting saved by a "new main character group", it's kinda a cheap ploy to make people hype for this cast of characters. The OVA started off pretty decent, was hype, but in the end it was nothing but action after action, basically a promo to the game. There's really no other reason to care for the OVAs. |

| Hm.. One person is suicidal or something?.. Or why he says at times "this is the time I'll die, after all".. Even if not suicidal, then doom thinking.. Maybe he's tired with war.. That's Valkyria weapon.. Overall, I think it was good bonus OVA for Valkyria Chronicles.. A bit of introduction to some characters, some of their personalities are potentially enjoyable, it seems.. And anime teases with quite some interesting things.. Why they are kept as deserters.. What's the plan or game of that dark haired person.. And also about Riela relation to Valkyria as well.. |
