Mary Sue and basically just an Eren's guard dog, who's entire role is to be badass action girl and doesn't start to develop maybe until after Eren turns evil. |

| She was cool the first couple of seasons but she fell off. I feel like the writer didn't know what to do about her character because Eren didn't really need a love interest and her 'love' was borderline dependency because he is the only familiarity through the years. I mean they couldve developed her more but her skills were more for action as she was overpowered [but with no good reason = mary sue]. I don't know how they can give her a bigger role though. Armin has always been my favorite because he has always been a tactician but optimistic. Misaka never really changed |

Please don't spread this misinformation and headcanons. Isiyama literally confirmed, that Hange's actual gender will never be confirmed, which doesn't make Hange in any way part of LGBT. |

| I've been liking her less and less ever since the time skip between 3rd and final season, and not just because of her still okay but definitely worse appearance. Her character changed pretty randomly from Eren being her top priority and her willing to cut down anyone friend or foe to protect him, to being very wishy-washy and not really knowing what she's doing. Like after Sasha died and Connie was shitting on Eren she did a poor job defending him and seemed legit unsure whether to side with Eren or fucking Connie. This was all before any of the rumbling stuff or the talk with Eren where he cut her and Armin off. Then the military was trying to execute him, she was barely doing anything still and when Eren broke himself out Mikasa was all shocked and again unsure who to side with. Why does she even give a shit about their military dictatorship government that's using Historia like a puppet and trying to kill Eren? Season 1 Mikasa would have happily sliced them all down herself. When Eren was first revealed as a titan potentially all of humanity was their enemy and she sided with him without hesitation. Another reason I like her less now is she was a total dick to that one girl that she saved back in S1 for literally no reason. It might make some sense if she feels guilty for inspiring her to become a soldier putting her in more danger but that's not it since even on her deathbed Mikasa was just: "Scarf please, fuck you, bye bye.". Like why the fuck was she THAT antagonistic towards her? She literally didn't destroy the scarf going against Eren's orders and gave information while she was there dying. How about a "Thank you. I'm sorry. I didn't mean for you to end up like this when I saved you. I wanted you to live a normal life that I wasn't able to." Could have actually been a good scene but I don't know what the fuck we actually got. All that said, I still love Mikasa. Literally nothing she does now is gonna erase how awesome she was in seasons 1-3. And I don't even mind where she's at right now during these final chapters. Trying to stop Eren without killing him. How she got here might have been messy as fuck but I don't think this position is out of character for her. She's still trying to protect Eren, just from himself this time. Can't wait to see how this epic story ends. |

| She’s just male Levi. Both overhyped by their fans for just being badass. Besides that, they don’t got much going on for them. But that doesn’t mean they’re badly written. They’re just bland, especially compared to the top characters in this series. |

Don't spread misinformation. Isayama himself said that he woukd never say Hange's gender, which means it could be either male or female, we will never know. |
Lmao you should never take that wiki seriously, a female says hi to another girl and that people assumes they are lesbian. Hange's gender has never been revealed by Isayama and that doesn't give them the right to say it's LGBT. |

I don't understand why it's such an interesting subject to some people. Like who cares about the deep hidden lore according to which hange was actually a guy all along ? She is a fctional character, she doesn't exist and this stuff is totaly irrelevant to the story. |
