| It HAD potential in my opinion. I love Yu-Gi-Oh as a whole as much as the next person but this one is one of my least favorite Yu-Gi-Ohs(even Yuya became my least favorite among all the protagonists because of his characterization). It was good until during the Synchro dimension arc where everything went downhill and don't even get me started on the ending. |

| Yeah, this one is my favourite than all of Yu-Gi-Oh's series, but sadly I on hold this one after they teleported in exist dimension since our TV stopped airing it, might continue watching it soon if I would like. |
| It was my third favorite YGO anime up until Yuya and the other Lancers went to the Synchro dimension. That's when the plot fell apart and it basically became a ton of filler until the Friendship Cup tournament started and even that wasn't so great. The last nail in the coffin was the last third of the story that took place in the Fusion dimension. It was just wasted potential from that point on and one of the reasons why the anime turned out so bad was because a lot of the staff left to work on the new YGO movie at the time. |
| I liked it more than Zexal and the second half of 5D's. If all you're looking for in a Yu-Gi-Oh! anime are nice duels (Arc V's MC dueled in about half of the episodes, compared to Zexal's two thirds, so better variety) and likable characters (to name a few, Gongenzaka, Yuzu, Sora >>> Tetsuo, Kotori, Tokunosuke, Takashi), it won't disappoint. But I've gotta admit that the logic was thrown out of the window, when it comes to plot and world building. |
