| So obviously the gun devil is NOT in pieces and split up all over the globe, but in fact fully intact and functional and ready to shred through anything in its way. What a design though, sheesh. But as this manga is still continuing, I'm expecting the common reoccurring theme to be failed attempt after failed attempt to kill Makima lol |

| That's the Gun Devil!? Holy shit! That's abit much more scarier than I thought it would be. So it isn't like Juzo Inui (Or maybe it was, but it evolved). Also, Makima being the "Control Devil", interesting twist, but I still don't understand exactly how tf her power works. So people fear control, but, either way, she could just control any individual, so the level of global fear of control could be kinda irrelevant if you have an op power like control anyway. But anyway, that also begs a question, so she could just control anything, but why does she limit herself and not go further? Why is this position of power important to her? Or even the search for the Gun Devil important to her? Does she not want absolute power and dominance (I just kinda assume that, cause I thought that's what Devils generally want) or does she want a very specific goal that only her current position of power could help her obtain? Or maybe she does have a restriction to her power and she's looking for a way to loosen that restriction more? Interesting |

| I don't thinkthat the fear of being controlled is the greatest fear, and I don't think that is why Makima is feared the most. It's about the fear of the demon itself instead of the concept it's based on. Basically, Makima is feared because she can control other demons. For example, in a case when she one day decided to take control of the devil like Darkness devil, it won't matter if Darkness as a concept is scarier. The more she controls, the worse it gets. That's the meaning of what the President said about the peace that's worse than any war. |
