| Interestingly companies have noticed that one of the best ways to advertise is to get people to push things to their friends and that products advertised through things such as social media have more "weight" attached to them if it comes from some guy you know from work or your friend from the gym etc. This currency seems to be a way to incentivise doing this social media sharing on the behalf of companies and otherways to create that online "buzz" that brings their content to the top of search engine results, reddit, newsites and in exchange you get tokens. Honestly its a good strategy but I don't like the idea of being manipulated into doing someone elses PR. My free time is my own to waste, liking and watching anime is not my job. |
