| @kooh I enjoyed the first season cus I was really into peaceful anime with not much action at the time and somewhat get shogi as a chess player, by the time the second season came I was out of that mood, so it's on hiatus till i'm in the mood for it, but I agree, it's a great anime in it's own way. |

| @thulindar22 yaay, I'm happy Linda likes it too~ honestly, I don't really get how Shogi plays, but I do get the idea and is actually interested with it. The matches in the second season are quite entertaining to watch. You'll get a bit of that Rakugo feeling too I guess. Anyway here's for todaay! |

| @Memor There are chapters dedicated to his relationship with the girls and some for Shogi. But honestly you'll grow to like the other characters, especially the guys along with Shogi the more you watch it. It's something akin to watching Chihayafuru |

| @kooh yay, an apple, (from mochigi?) basically shogi is the same as chess or rather the objective is the same and it's played almost identically, the only differences that i'm aware of being as follows. (most of) the pieces move differently (and many have different names), each piece has a set specific piece it promotes to (and any piece besides the king can promote, instead of only the pawns), the board is 9x9 instead of 8x8, you have the choice to promote within 3 rows of the opponents side rather than just the furthest row, and you have the ability to return a piece you've captured from your opponent to your own forces instead of moving a piece during your turn. and I also liked chihayafuru quite a lot |

| @thulindar22 yeah! i've been talking with him earlier too~ i see, tbh i'm not good with chess as well but i do get the basics down. i only know how to munch pieces but really don't know hot to check mate if i do get into that phase anyway. and yes I love Chihaya lots as well! @Memor i remember that scene! i cry rather easily so it's no surprise i almost always tear up whenever she cries which the actress does so well with her voice! i wont spoil anymore stuff but there's a nice surprise at the end of the second season :> |

| I think i would say Darling in the FranXX actually was not really romance but a lot was turned on love. That one of the only show who i finished in less than 2 days i really loved it, i think the main character (zero two) was really lovely in some way. I Founded the showed the power of a kiss and what it can really mean, all the long they were connected and i don't know why but whenever they tried to take them away (so that they won't be together) i was trembling and wanted them back together as fast as possible.  |

| Hmm... Yep, mine would be Toradora. I can't quite say why, other than that it just really touched me, but there was some very romantic cinematography in there and it gave a lot of time for the characters to goof around and grow on me, so by the time the heavy-hitting drama began I actually cared about the characters and wanted to see what happened to them. So many series just expect me to care about characters I've barely seen before and immediately jump into long scenes with lots of close-ups of teary-eyed people in dramatic lighting monologuing about their feelings while sad violin music plays in the background, and I just groan and wish they got it over with! A good drama or romance story gives time for the audience to learn to like the characters before going all-in on the feels, and I think Toradora really succeeded in that. |

| Plastic Memories is my favourite romance anime, I cried a lot while watching it. I also like Kimi no Na wa and while Steins;Gate isn't a romance anime, I like the chemistry between Kurisu and Okabe. |

| I strongly dislike the shoujo genre. I prefer seinen/josei romance anime or manga. This is quite the problem since there is a lack of seinen and josei anime out there, so I mostly read manga when I want to get my fix of romance. However, my favorite romance anime would have to be Clannad: After Story, Toradora, or Kokoro Connect (Yeah, I know it is basic, but I dont watch enough romance anime since I prefer romance manga) |

| Mine is probably H2O: Footprints in the sand if we're talking about pure romance (since there are some others I like but the focus isn't romance). Although I think its mainly because it was one of my earlier anime (probably like the 5th anime I ever watched) and it caught me completely off guard because I was expecting some romcom moe romance and that was the first time I saw a show with an ending like that. I am also a sucker for dramatic backstories and so this hit the mark. |

| @vinroy11 I can definitely agree I prefer seinen and josei more than shoujo and/or shounen. although there are some in each category that I like. @crimsonrose2704 I remember watching that one, but it was a pretty long time ago and my memory isn't great so I don't actually remember much about it other than that I enjoyed it. |
