| This ending omg 😭😭😭. I cried again when they showed Komugi and Meruem together and the game tokens 😭😭😭. Also, Kurapika with all his clan's eyes was such a powerful image, I really need to see more of him! Gon with Ging, even though he is the worst father ever, was really cute to see too. I will watch the classic series and everything cause this ending left me wanting more of everyone!! |

| Ging and Gon finally spend their time as a father and son. After they showed what the others are doing, I'm quite disappointed we didn't get Gon's reunion with Palm 😩 Just answer the call, Kurapika!! I finished this anime in 1.5 month. My personal record for a series with 100+ episodes. It has ups and downs. But overall, I loved it. I know about the author's condition, but still hoping to see more in the future 🤞 |

| Wow, that a fantastic journey this show has been. It had some hiccups along the way, but world building and character development for this series were on another level. Although there are clearly more stories to be told, this was a solid conclusion to Gon's arc, which was arguably the main narrative point of the series thus far. This show will be missed, but maybe we'll see more animated one day... |
| Well... what a great experience it was. Had so much fun with this show from the first episode to the last. I had no complaints about this show. Loved every single second. The ending moments were touching and Ging telling Gon about all those things that are waiting for him out there was great. 10/10 Hunter x Hunter. One of the greatest shounen series if not the greatest out there. I hope one day it'll be back. Till then, off to the manga. <3 |

| It's about the people you meet along the way. It's about the journey, not the destination. It's something we've heard before, but it's a freaking great way to close off Hunter x Hunter. When Ging revealed that the world map is but a fraction of what was truly out there, and an expanded map was shown, you can't but help but think to yourself that they've barely scratched the surface to what is possible. Gon's adventures could've span thousands of episodes. I thought all the talk about HxH's manga being on a never-ending hiatus meant that the anime was going to stop at an awkward and very unsatisfactory spot (ex. Akatsuki no Yona, boy the place they chose to end that anime was horrible), but that, thankfully, is nowhere near the case. This feels like the best way they could've end it. I am not left wanting; I am more than satisfied. Masterfully done, Madhouse. |

| It took me 1 year and half to get through HXH. I'm torn between rating it a 7.5 or an 8/10. When this anime is good, it's SO GOOD. The world, the characters, the adventure. It was a fantastic journey. But it has a tendency to overstuff itself with so many things it draaaags and drags. While I admire Togashi's ability to create such rich lore about every single aspect of this world, it can also hinder the story sometimes. For example, back in the chimera ant arc we got half an episode of someone explaining the lore behind an elevator. Or just before Gon climbed the World Tree, we got a super long explanation about how many people actually make it up the tree (they could have just said only 30 people make it up the tree every year and be done with it). Togashi loves statistics, ratios, percentages and deep analysis and sometimes that can be very boring to sit through, for example the election arc. Hunter exam arc: 9/10 Zoldyck Family arc: 10/10 Heaven's Arena: 10/10 YorkNew City: 10/10 Greed Island: 5/10 Chimera Ant: 8/10 (I rate it highly because of the start and ending, but it *dragged*) Election arc: 4/10 but the stuff going on with Alluka and the Zoldyck family was a 10/10 Some final thoughts: I'm disappointed that Gon recovered 100% without any consequences (as far as I know) after destroying himself in the fight against Pitou. Ah well, that's how shounen goes. I hope we get a proper explanation as to why Kite took over that girl's body... Are the Zoldyck butlers really gonna lie to Killua about Getoh being dead...? Why? Ging is an asshole no matter what and I'm glad the show is aware of it. But I'm glad Gon got to spend time with him, he doesn't seem to care that his dad is the way it is and actually sees it as something to aspire to (mmkay, you do your thing Gon). I would have preferred to see what the hell Kurapika is up to than the election arc, now I'm hungry to find out. I have no idea where the story will go from here, especially with Alluka and Killua travelling together. It'll be exciting! |

| I finally finished it, and it quickly mad it's way onto my list of favorite anime. With the exception of the two recaps at the beginning, every episode was great. Like most people, the Chimera Ant arc was the best arc, hands down. Yorknew City was a close second, and I think my least favorite was probably the Greed Island arc (though I loved Bisky). Every character was amazing, and so were the villains. There were villains that made me hate them (Pouf, Illumi), villains that made me wish they could have lived (Meruem), and villains that I couldn't decide on (Neferpitou). It was a great ride, and with new hopes of the manga coming back, maybe we might see the anime come back in a few years. |
