I dont know how to explain this... i think ill give an example:
Like you watching an episode, and then you go on reading on the net what other people think about this episode and someone writing a piece of information you just missed.

and im like "really?? how did i missed this line/point???"
And some people coming with all of this piece of informations i dont have a clue how they got it! really.

I hate when it happens. -___-

I just wonder if it happend to someone here.
If it does, name the anime if you have an examples.

Also im sorry for my spelling mistakes.

It's only happened to me once, but it did suck more than being told in advance. In Durarara!!, I somehow assumed "All the cards are in my hand" just meant the one who said it was a member. Felt really stupid when everyone was spazzing out about the twist and I was the only idiot that missed it.

This kind of thing happened all the time to me while watching Boogiepop Phantom, didn't notice until the second time I watched it, and there was still stuff I missed that I only found because I watched the producer's commentary on the DVD. Really, the whole series is built on those little details.

Use spoilers guys, don't want people to get spoiled by mistake.

Sometimes things like that happen because you've been following potatoe subbers.

Somehow the Topic is so similar to this....
did you ever continued watching an anime even though the storyline was unclear to you?
If watching Anime is too complicated to catch every detail,I suggest reading the Novel will help.

I was just watching GitS 2ng gig episode 2. I was concentrating on separating the guy's actual life and what he's fantasizing. At one point, I thought one girl was Motoko in disguise, but it was just another girl that had purple hair. All in all, I probably missed some small detail, but the end of the episode made it all clear. He's a guy in the countless working class who will always fantasize about righteousness or justice or whatever, but will never do them.

Happens to me all the time. I think a series is really good if it has at least some rewatchability to it. Most series get spoiled on the first run.

Of course. It's called "not paying attention". It happens to most people.

Happens to me all the time.

Less now though than I used to a few months ago, having gotten a bit more used to the medium. But I thing I'm just so wowed to be watching anime at all (and 720p when it is even more so!), that sometimes I just get caught up in it all and miss stuff. Particularly when there's an awesome orchestral soundtrack, or else an emotion piano one. Classical music is my favorite type of music.
