| Now why would he do that? If he for some idiotic reason would stop producing a series he's been working on soon half his life (He's 42, and Berserk is 20), when he is 60-70% done, i wouldn't read it, it would be ok for me if miura never drew berserk, just was writing the story, the new artwork would be to strange for me. Well, it's not like he is going to quit anyway. |

| I sympathize with you m8 - I just started reading this yesterday...I'm on ch.244 now, and I'm already dreading the time when I catch up. I hate waiting for the next chapter to be released, and it's kind of killing One Piece for me, which I loved. But you can't let the fact that so many of these long-running manga never end stop you from reading them - you won't regret reading this beast of a series, I assure you. And because I'm too lazy to check myself, is Berserk released weekly? I don't think I could bear it if it were any longer... |

| *To those asking, this series is monthly, and the chapters aren't very long* I think this series is great, not garbage, I don't care when it ends.:p The creator of Hijime No Ippo stated he'd continue until he dies, perhaps this will follw suit? I'm 21, this series is older than me, yet it's ranked number one on this site and still sells well, Berserk is a cash cow.;) Being a monthly irregular release, the creator is probably just keeping this series up as a hobbie. |

| even these chapters that have nothing to do with the main plot are better than some arcs in other manga in weekly shonen ju....... anyway these kinda things allways happen kinda like sub bosses and the more you hate the sub boss the better it is when guts brutaly murders him and his soul get draged to hell :) |

| I also like to read completed series, the reason being i tend to move on to new manga/anime while i'm waiting for new chapters and forget about that series in the process. That's why i'm kinda reluctant to start Berserk but if it really could last another 5+ years, which seems very possible, then i think now is a good a time as any |

| Best manga i ever read. Thats for sure I dont have a clue when it'll finish, but even if it finish tomorrow or in 10 years, it'll best shit i ever read anyway lol. The manga is awesome |
| I don't want it to end. It is just too good. I wouldn't mind him continuing for another 20 years honestly. I'd like to follow this series for a while in my own life. Though I'd rather Kentaro finish it before he starts having trouble with it, the man needs to stop taking breaks so regularly or it may just never finish. |

| Even if Kentarou dies, the story would end half way and eventually another person will have to complete it. And I don't feel comfortable at all if some idiot came along to finish a story that was only meant to be finished by Kentarou. The ONLY man in the world that can continue and end Berserk is the ORIGINAL CREATOR. Not some fan made garbage. Maybe in the afterlife, he'll continue with the series. |
