| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Ok, I'll admit that I understood only half of what's going on here. It's all so confusing with the recurring characters whose names and roles I can't remember anymore and the poor drawings. What I do know is that Allen must stop both Kanda and Alma. A tall order but let's see if he can pull this off. |

| Nice. It's not exactly all that hard to see as people say really. I also don't see anything terrible about the drawing. Thank goodness Allen didn't give in to the Earl's request. Man, even in a tough situation like having to possibly fight those two, allen is still trying to save them. That's exactly what makes Allen my favorite Shounen main protagonist right there. |

| I'm hoping next chapter will be a little more focused than this one. I'm still having problems telling the characters apart. I'm just gonna guess that the Noah we saw was Tyki based on the scars on his chest. |

| I'm going to say the ugliness of the artwork mirrors the ugliness of the situation :p I really wanted Allen to go with the Earl though, that would've been a great twist, instead we're going to get love, heal, save~ fleh. I've always been bad with names and people in manga, in DGM moreso though, half the apostles look the same, people pop up and I don't know who they are :p the hiatus did wonders for the series :/ |
| As of last chapter I had no difficulties understanding the plot progression and telling the characters apart. Actually, I think the plot is pretty straightforward, even though it might seem confusing because of all the characters and details. I don't remember all the new characters, though, but that should be expected considering their limited appearances and the monthly releases (and the hiatuses). And the art is very detailed and impressive, and not as confusing if you know what's going on. Still, I hope this arc will end soon, because I'm really curious about the outcome. |
| Goddammit, Allen. Always the moral compass. :| I'm glad I'm not the only one having trouble telling who is who anymore. Other than that, I'll be happy when this is over so we can have a calming period between chapters (hopefully). Kanda looked badass as always, thankfully. |

| Since the end of the last hiatus I've said it, I don't like Hoshino's new art style but what can we do. The only ones I have trouble telling apart are Tyki and Sheryl but I guess I'll get used to that too. Other than that, this chapter made me feel again the sorrow of the old DGM. Bak bringing Fo and Johnny asking the Earl about the 14th and Earl answering such a thing, beautiful. |

It's pretty confusing when she introduces so much in so little time, I've had to read chapters multiple times to understand what's going on, it shouldn't be like that. Having "detailed" art and having terrible flow are two different things, I much prefer the pre-hiatus artwork where I could understand what was going on. |
| I agree that the art is confusing. They are similar each other, especially bak and allen.. They are really similar, their faces. But I think I'll get used to it soon enough Anyway, if Tyki didn't attack fo and if fo didn't say such words I'm sure allen would go with earl already. T_T. meh, too bad. At least, I wanted to see allen trying to reach tyki's hand. XD XD |

If it weren't for Allen's scar I would have bet that it was Alma in the very last panel of the Manga. But still gotta admit it was a nice plot twist. Instead of Allen vs. Alma it'll be Allen vs. Kanda now. |

| The art is still really confusing, and I don't remember a lot of the characters. Aside from that, I understood a lot more of this chapter than previous ones, and it seems like this arc should be ending soon. |

| Nooo not cancelled :/ the art may be off, but there's still so much that I want to know, like the bookman, the past of the order, 14th and Allen, Mana :( oh and the heart, but that's alright. |
| I'm just hoping that this arc will end soon, and hopefully the next arc will be easier to understand. Part of the reason why this arc has been confusing might be because of the switch from weekly to monthly and the hiatus it took. |

I don't mind the new art, I like how the characters look more mature than before. Everyone's reaction at earl's word was also fantastic. I want to know why he wants to stay by 14th's side, and I hope 14th appear soon. Even if I have to read the same page twice, it's interesting to figure out what's going on :) Some Tyki action would be cool as well. Overall love the chapter=] |
| same page with everyone on wtf is going on and so hard to tell people apart + appearances of people i dont remember. so close to dropping this, and i still read naruto/bleach, that's saying alot. |
| Yay~ I'm not the only one who thinks the characters are starting to look the same... I miss the pre-hiatus art but Hoshino has been out of practice with wrist problems for like a year or so and you can't expect her to be able to go back to exactly the way it was before :p The plot was getting mega jumbled but maybe it'll clear up, ne? I'm personally really still interested in a lot of things but as of a few chapters ago, I was starting to lose interest, though the whole thing with the 14th coming into the light and the Earl's revelation have really perked my interest again ^_^ Does anyone know if the anime is going to pick back up or not? |

CRY MOAR please. This is not something people with short attention spans should read. had no problems differentiating characters. had no problems understanding wtf is going on in action scenes. Surely there's A LOT going on in each panel(unlike insome other shounen series where half of the chapter is spent focussing on two characters while everyone else is somewhere "not in the panels", like *cough*naruto,bleach*cough*) but thats not too hard to follow |

Although I don't want it to be canceled... it has been my favorite manga since it first appeared and now... :/ And yeah, hope this arc ends soon so we can see if Hoshino repairs THIS :/ Art is not that horrible, but it has changed way TOO MUCH and the characters look estrange (look at Allen in the last panel and saiyan!kanda lol xD) plus she should have done this arc development better... so many things in such a short period of time @_@ AND I'M NOT TALKING 'BOUT TIKY DDDDDDDDDDD: (he used to be so cool but now he looks like... | I don't think this should be cancelled. It was one of the first manga I started following weekly and now monthly, and I'm hoping that the next arc will make more sense, considering this arc has been going on for all long time because of the switch from weekly to monthly. I still really want to see what happened to Cross, and since it's only once a month it's not really worth dropping. |

| If anything it went more into the shiny shounen art, OP has a lot going on in some chapters and I still find it easy to follow that, this one is just really bad with it frames. This whole gangbanging HQ seemed really rushed though, as she threw out all the Apostles, introduced Akuma disciples and the other black dark corps whatever and threw them into one battlefield, if they were spread out and not taken to the one place it would've been better (saying that, there are quite a lot of people that are still not at HQ and around with akuma disciples / apostles) but having the main antagonist, his little army, a new little super soldier and the main protagonist and everyone half dead is a little off, if I do say so myself. |
| I really love the way the story is going now, especially the focus on Kanda. I've been waiting on this for years! I used to be "meh" about DGM, mainly reading it to see what happens to 2 or 3 characters (Kanda, Tyki, Road), but stuff is actually happening and it's finally getting interesting! Very impressed that somebody got a backstory of more than a few pages. I've been very annoyed at the relatively shallow backstories of the other characters. Personally I don't see much of a difference in the art style but, if anything, it looks prettier to me. And the blood... thank gods there's more blood! |

| I liked the chapter and I understand the whole plot, the problem is the artstyle, it was so blurred for me, mean you can't understand the actions that have taken place in each panels and like kch33 said , you'll going to wonder if they were still alive. especially the part between alma and kanda. |

| Well this was a rather disappointing chapter... I thought it would be more "epic" but I was wrong. :c sjdflsjd just go with the Noahs already, Allen! It would be much more interesting like that! I miss the old DGM. It was much more awesome. Though I am liking this new art style of Hoshino. o: Badass Kanda is still badass, that is good. c: |
