| mmm...prolly around 15 years? But back then I was pretty limited to what was on Cartoon Network (days of no internet/dial-up and all, lol). I did have an army brat friend who lived over there for a bit, so she had some cool stuff to watch though. :) |

| I was VERY into Dragonball Z when I was in kindergarten and the following years (I did the math with the years and stuff and it aired in the US when I was in kindergarten, so I know it was kindergarten.) And of course I was also into Pokemon and Digimon but those came after, but I liked DBZ more anyway. Then when Toonami started I watched every show on it (back when it was actually cool and had Yu Yu Hakusho, Kenshin, Gundam Wing, etc...) and I was very into all of those airing action animes with my older brother. Really I think I have to credit my interest in anime from that long ago to him, since if he wasn't into it I probably wouldn't have been. I think that's why I really only like action and shounen animes nowadays as well, cause I grew up watching those constantly (even Trigun I was watching around like 2nd or 3rd grade.) Then in like 4th grade I started buying mangas from book stores and that's really when my anime horizons expanded greatly. Then I finally realized that there was such a thing as downloading anime on the internet xD Why did I type that all out? I'm in 8th grade now, so it's been 9 years I suppose...that's all I really had to say. |
