| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Good episode that focused on Kentaro and his parents. But, the best part was the small moment at the end between Godai and Kyoko. I like how this series does quiet, seemingly insignificant moments like this that show that, albeit slowly, the two of them are getting closer. |

Translucent said: aw, cute scene at the end :) Yeah, that was very cute! Finally seeing her reach out to Godai, and she was smiling like she really cared too! I'm curious, what's going on with the tennis coach. She stood him up due to the misunderstanding, but neither of them discussed the issue, it's like they've forgotten each other, not that I'm rooting for him, just kinda curious. xD |

| That Kentaro even knows how to do that balloon breathalyzer test at like 10 years old is kinda sad, though. |
| Thankfully the two small scenes with Kyoko and Godai saved this episode from being completely boring. I still want a story involving Akemi, I'd like to see her different then her usual carefree self. |

| It was nice to see Kentarou's dad being a part in his son's life, especially for that school event involving parents doing three-legged race. It was also nice to see that even though Kentarou's parents aren't exactly ideal, they are at least reliable when you need them most :) Also, that moment between Godai and Kyoko at the end was so comforting :) |

| Pretty fun episode, I'm glad that things eventually worked out well for Kentaro. His parent's aren't perfect, but there are a few things Godai and Kyoko could learn from them. The last scene between them was just adorable and another step in the right direction. |

| Holy shit we saw the father. It's crazy how they met him after 2 years,I guess he only came like 2-3 times there in the past 2 years and the manager and the tenants didn't ever see him or didn't bother asking who he was after only seeing him once before or something. Re:Reapermask "too bad Godai got injured" no sir Good thing Godai got injured,the alcoholic mother got to surprise her son. Kentaro didn't even watch half of the race as he was shocked af at the fact that his mother actually did not drink. That race was a living hell for the mother because that might have been the longest she's gone without drinking. Now we only have to find out what the hell Yotsuya-san does for a living. |

| An amazing episode, every scene was so great, the Ichinose couple sure have a bond and Hanae is able to show Kentarou she can try her best to make him proud being able to handle her flaw, Yuusaku's reaction was very fitting at the end. |

| I’m gonna start calling Yuusaku by his last name “Godai” now because it’s felt weird calling him by his first name all this time when everyone in the show calls him Godai, which is what I typically like to go by, I’ve just been calling him Yuusaku because I call Kyoko by her first name, but now I’m finally making the change, just figured I’d explain why so future me won’t have to wonder why I suddenly switched to Godai 28 episodes in lol. But that aside, this was a wholesome side-story focusing on Kentaro and his parents, and yes I said parents, this kid has a dad after all lol, he seems like a chill fella. It really is a sad thing that Kentaro didn’t trust his mom to not drink, she doesn’t seem like the abusive type but I’m sure a kid doesn’t want to see his mom drunk all the time anyway, but thankfully she proved herself alongside her husband for the three legged race when the Kyoko and Godai pair didn’t work out, rip Godai’s ankle tho lol. Also despite Kyoko not being the focus of this episode, there were a handful of scenes where she was looking especially cute, someone else mentioned the eyes looking different on her and Godai this episode and that could be it. |
