DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Shippo witnesses a girl, Koume, take away Kirara, who has mistaken Kirara for her own two tailed cat Kuroro, who has been thrown out of Koume's village because a faith healer has declared Kuroro the reason behind the bad luck befalling the village. |

| For a second, I thought that Kuroro would die. Eh, I should have known better. I freaking love the ED song. Honestly, it sound like a song that would end a long trip, but yeah, that isn't the case, since there is still 90+ episodes left... :P |

| A rat demon getting stronger by eating a single child? Yep, that's definitely a filler story. |
| There is a Kirara lookalike and they call her "Kuroro". That is such a terrible name and doesn't even sound like something from a show like Inuyasha. |

| The most notable thing about this episode for me is that Tesso is voiced by Issei Futamata (nice name) who also voiced characters from previous Rumiko Takahashi anime: Chibi from Urusei Yatsura, Yusaku Godai from Maison Ikkoku, Hikaru Gosunkugi from Ranma 1/2 and also Ishida from One Pound Gospel OVA. Instantly recognized Gosunkugi's voice. I had no idea Kirara was a girl. Never even considered the cat's gender tbh. |
