Shippo time to shine, well not really but you'll get the idea :P This episode sort of feels a little meaningless seeing that Shippo is the weakest out of the group and he has to help someone with a mission.

When his said enormous bones I immediately thought of Inuyasha's father's grave.

Haha I too.

How strong and big was the father of Inuyasha?
I'm feel sorry for the mother of Inuyasha.

I'm surprised Sesshomaru actually saved the kids father. I guess Rin isn't the only one responsible for the change in his behavior. The Tensaiga is also changing him.

Same here, but for the life of me I can't figure out how the shikon jewel shard got into the graveyard of Inuyasha's father.

Part of the reason why I love this anime is because it can make me laugh at times and cry at times.

I do have a question though: Aside from the question of how the Jewel Shard could have gotten in there in the first place, I had a question about InuYasha's father, Inu no Taisho's bones...In the third movie it's said how he died. But when he died, he wasn't transformed like that. He was in the form of a man not much bigger than Sesshomaru or InuYasha...So my question is how did his bones get so huge and transformed like that AFTER he died? And how did they get there? He didn't transform like that at all in the third movie...

Goddamnit, Sesshoumaru can be even more of a cheeky brat than Inuyasha sometimes. He could literally just unsheathe his sword and swing it to save someone. ''Nope, it doesn't concern me.''
Ohhh, for fuck sake...

Exactly what I was thinking! xD I thought he'd at least think of Rin and be influenced by her somehow but nah he doesn't give a pickle. With all the latest episode of Sesshomaru showing his soft side ever since Rin came along, I'd forgotten how cold he really was.

What I liked about this episode was that it wasn't quite a filler-- it did advance the story by revealing a big clue on the last shard's whereabouts. At the same time, it allowed Shippo some character development. He got the courage to face Sesshomaru, someone who has always scared him.
So many feels on my part, seeing Shippo cry as he remembered his dad. It made me remember that Shippo is just a kid, after all. He's gone through so many battles, bloodshed, and 'grown-up' stuff already, so here we can see Shippo as just a little kid who lost his dad, trying to prevent a friend from suffering the same fate. Stay strong Shippo! <3

This was a very good episode. The plot with them resurrecting Kanta's dead father made it have more emotional heft then usual, and it was done well. A lot of nice scenes.

I also like Shippo getting triggered at being called a raccoon dog. "i'm a FOX!!!"

Shippo's new tanuki friend is pretty lucky for meeting Sesshomaru there.

Sesshomaru really has changed a lot, now even saving some weak demons.

finally hinting about the location of the last shard, and the only one who seems to not know it it's inuyasha's father grave is hakudoshi, probably.

sesshomaru really have great development in the series.

Doesn't expect to get a little emotional over an attempt to resurrect demon beaver at all. I really connect to Shippou when he beg infront of Sesshomaru to use the Tenseiga. He must be thinking over his father's death as well. That sword itself is a living sword that also slowly change Sesshomaru into a better person. Nice episode.

Sesshomaru having to grow a sense of damn compassion to use his sword is hilarious to me lol. I like this slight character development from him and how we're finding out what is happening with these severed heads for once

This show really has a treasure trove of orphans... Thankfully Kanta wasn't one of them.

Damn, this episode had me on the verge of tears. Even though it was about some random Onis we probably shouldn't see again.
Shippo was very strong. </3

It's so weird that Chokukai, a filler demon from episode 129, just randomly showed up in this episode.

I thought Sesshomaru changed enough to revive Kanta's dad on his own but nah, he did because of Tenseiga. He's still the stoic asshole as always. Though he must've changed a little bit, otherwise Tenseiga wouldn't have worked at all.

The location of the final shard is... the Great Dog General's grave. How the hell did that thing go there in the first place?

To be very honest, it kinda felt like a filler, except for the very end. There were some characters appearing in a very random way that I'm almost sure they are not cannon... Maybe this is half a filler? I don't know, but I'm glad Sesshomaru saved that kid's father!
